I stayed at the hotel last month, October 2020. It was surreal to find the strip so quiet due to COVID but I experienced the same quality room, same good experience at check in and check out, same accessible parking, etc. Its a good drama-free (I say that in contrast to more in-bound Strip locations) place to stay with your family, maybe for a day or two. No, it is not perfect but who are the people demanding perfection? It works for me and Ill keep coming back. I especially like the self-serve free parking. Makes it quick to come, quick to go. And, I have always gotten a room facing the mountains --which is a great view if youre into that.
Positive: My rooms in the luxe king room Negative: No
This hotel is great its off by itself its clean and tidy, the rooms are updated and cute an clean . there also a couple of restaurants in the hotel that you can get something to eat at when your hungry without leaving the hotel. The only downfall is the parking lot is always packed so you have to walk kind of far to the front door and there west tower elevators are currently closed due to covid so its a journey to your room if your in that area . friendly staff and clean lobby and casino will come back again .
Positive: Accesible Negative: N/A
Positive: The manager really helped in my handicapped parking... Negative: No
Horrible. Where to begin. We checked in the early evening. We are older and needed assistance with our baggage as the parking lot is far away. We were told no one was available. So we asked for a luggage cart. We were told no, due to liability concerns. A fifty year old vet cant operate a luggage cart. Another nice touch: placing the handicap parking 150 yards past the limousine parking. No outlets bedside the bed to plug any chargers in or medical devices. Most of the restaurants are closed, although the website shows them as open. The only two dining options are: spend $200 on dinner or wait in line at the food court for a $20 burger. The staff is rude and condescending. With Covid, you would think properties would be doing everything to keep and gain new business. Not at the Westgate. I feel bad about giving a one star review. It was, soley because no stars wasnt an option.
The best resort hands down. Such friendly staff and amazing service. Checking each resident temperature great parking shuttle services I stayed at three different hotels and the second night we stayed here I didn’t want to leave I prepaid for my next 4 day stay . A real person texted me once we checked in just to check on us. The slot machines don’t make you feel like a straight loser by swallowing your entire wallet.I left with money. Very nice rooms very clean with many amenities. It’s family owned and you can tell there some great people who created a team of great people Maria has worked here over 20 years and loves her job......it was absolutely an amazing vacation Westgate sealed the deal. I’m a fan.
Positive: The lady at check in was very nice and friendly older lady Negative: no
Positive: Cleanliness Negative: Location of room
I prepaid my room weeks in advance then got a surprise 300.00 fee at check in. After that, my room did not have hot water, the front desk clerk was argumentative and extremely rude and confrontational and made it very difficult for me to speak to a manager. I had to change rooms and was not compensated for the effort. All restaurants and amenities are closed for covid but I still had to pay a full resort fee. I was told at check in that for my 5 day stay they would NOT be offering turn down service. And to top it off, the gaming machines will not trigger wins for anyone. Walking through the floor NO one is winning anything. This place is dirty, cheap and gougy. I am very upset with the service Ive received and will not stay here again. I strongly advise that you do not either.
If anyone wondering what a giant ant nest looks like - come here and stay. Takes about half an hour to get from room to car & vise versa. And if you return in evening - good luck to find a parking spot, everything taken by gamblers. On top of this theres no microwave, coffee maker, nor iron board in rooms, sound isolation is next to none when you can hear tv from adjacent room. A 2 star motel in Pennsylvania we stayed in a while ago offers more amenities than this so called resort
Awesome hotel. Super clean rooms and friendly staff. The pool is great, and I would recommend getting a cabana. Totally worth it. The views outside of most rooms are beautiful. The only negatives are that the hallways are confusing and maze-like, its also very expensive to buy personal food, drink and alcohol items in the store located in the hotel. Id stay here again.
The hotel looks nice upon entry but the layout is exhausting... No fresh air in the rooms because there are no windows. The rooms are incredibly small and the bathrooms are the same. Hotel hasnt been updated in decades. Stay somewhere else. The WIFI is decent compared to other places in Vegas.
Positive: Great services and room very nice
Positive: Not really anything Negative: Smell of weed EVERYWHERE
This place is beautiful. This place is HUGE. I am also aware that this Resort is older-which I can respect. That being said, its outdated and well, rough on the room side. I reserved a room from Friday-Monday and was pretty disappointed. Now I know this is a very busy place, but there was no hospitality at all. Customer service at check in wasnt friendly and couldnt even say for sure if the room had a queen size bed in it...It was our first time in Vegas and we planned to get married (crazy kids, right?!). We wanted something nice to call home for the weekend. Although the room seemed pretty clean, the bed was a fold out queen, that was very uncomfortable. Trim tattered, bold colors and worst of all, no microwave. I am a total foodie, so I try a lot of gourmet food that I might want to revisit later. Even if we wanted to stay in, we couldnt stay in the room because it was unaccommodating.I am a person who finds a resort that I like and stay in the same place each time I revisit the city. Westgate is unremarkable in my opinion, and so was its staff. Looks like a different Resort next time.
Positive: Nothing Negative: Crowded. Room was misleading. Not a 4 star hotel. Room reeked of Marijuana.
Positive: Cleanliness Negative: No
Positive: not bad Negative: some
Positive: Great room and service
Positive: Everything Negative: Nothing
Positive: I like that the staff was on call whenever I needed them if I needed them. Negative: I love everything about the hotel the experience is lovely the sudden the scenery.
My clients are currently staying here and the service and cleanliness is absolutely horrible. Urine stains on the toilet. The north tower elevator is broken. We do NOT recommend anyone staying here. Urine stains on the toilet is indicative that the room wasn’t properly cleaned and sanitized. This is absolutely unacceptable! As a travel agent, no other clients will get booked here even if they request it. The service is horrible because no resolution or better accommodations has been made for my clients. This just ruined their trip.
Positive: The pool and the gym Negative: No smoking, not enough food selection, needs more technology in the rooms maybe even renovation.
Im very disappointed when i got here i was told i have a resort fee of 225.00 which surprised me Ive travel far i didnt have the the money at the moment but i would have it later in the morning time i arrived was 1:30 am i have reservations for 4 days and they wouldnt even let me check in without i had to sit. They had no type of compassion at all . i advise all to check for hidden fees when travelling out of town to another StateNot to mention Ive know places that would hold your card on file til you check out. It wasnt like i was going skip out on them . plus the web site stated if you didnt have it on your card thst you could pay full price for the room they were like they didnt know what i was speaking of i showed the manager the web site those folks still didnt allow me me inBut after speaking with the management again i think his name was David we came to a resolutionYes, the room was superb clean and fresh i was upset at first but i must say it was lovely and i enjoyed myself when i went in October i will return again hopefully everything would be bac to normal by than all of the staff was friendly. The second party who made reservations failed to tell me about the fees
First time customer, last time visit. Came for a girls getaway and was majorly disappointed. The hotel is dated and showing. The lighting in the room is very dim. The heater didn’t work and took maintenance 4 hours to come and repair. The tv was aged and on the brink of going out and I was never compensated for my inconvenience. Beware of the timeshare salesman. They greet you coming and going and it’s so annoying when you’re on vacation and trying to have a good time! The hotel isn’t on the strip it’s a couple of blocks away and not within walking distance to the attractions.
This was my very 1st trip to Las Vegas, I was solo. I was given the Royal treatment from day one all the way to the very end. The room was great, the pizza was the best I ever had, even won on the slots (Wheel of Fortune). I had a personal tour guide. Thanks to Dawna, Irma & JD for the best Las Vegas experience ever.! I shall return real soon. Westgate for life
Deborah was amazing. Very knowledgeable. And made a first experience great. Will come back again for sure. Deborah nunkle was great.
Positive: The room was perfect and had a great view.
Negative: Very outdated lights didnâ€t work in the room it was dirty and very outdated
Positive: Everyone was great. Location great. Just the right balance of number of people. Goldilocks
Positive: not very much Negative: service customer service front desk management elevators not working rooms not clean daily
Negative: No house keeping or ice on the floor due to covid 19
Negative: Had to move rooms 3 times as each room had issues. Staff took very long to solve issues.
Pretty good experience. Great customer service through texting. The only negatives for me was the room was hot and it wasn’t cooling down. Fortunately, it was fixed by the time we came back from dinner. Also, the bathtub drained VERY slowly and water backed up quickly when I took a shower. That meant that things were coming back up from the drain that was left by people who took shower before us. Not sanitary. Room was beautiful.
Room was relatively affordable. Rooms were also very nice and clean. The water gets super hot so showers feel amazing. Easy parking and shuttle service. Very accommodating for me and my dog. Overall great stay, will definitely be back
We went based on a deal to listen to a timeshare for westgate. The deals were actually good, but victor, who said he used to be a manager at westgate, said if we said no, that was it. No push. No hard sell.He lied.It was a good deal, but just didnt fit for our family. When we said no, and finally got him to understand that it wasnt going to happen, he turned into a rude jackass.Another 45 minutes of him and his manager trying to sell us... it was a miserable.
I absolutely loved my stay at Westgate. The staff is friendly and resort is beautiful. Also they are pet friendly, which is a bonus. I bought my Pit Bull with me and had no problems.
Positive: The design of the room Negative: The central elevators were the only elevator in service and itâ€s a little confusing to get to your tower.
Worst hotel experience I’ve ever had; from Customer service to cleanliness. Hair was found everywhere in the room, pool was dirty, rooms don’t get made during your stay!! And so much more. You are better off spending a little more and staying anywhere else.
So my experience was pleasant enough. I was expecting more. My biggest issue was a problem with my cabana rental. What ended up taking a good hour to fix was something that dragged on for half the length of my trip. Our normal concierge wasnt available so we had someone new but she was wonderful. We called housekeeping to request more towels and to tidy the room up while we were away. They had our room cleaned while we were out. Our room was clean and we did have some good points.I was debating leaving a bad review however my issue was with the cabana which is handled by the spa. So Ill leave a separate review for them. Overall my experience and visit was made horrible by the cabana issue.
Horrible service. Promised and paid for a lot of amenities in advance and received none. Hotel host was in contact for weeks before the trip but would not answer a call the second I landed. She reserved me a limo from airport to west gate. When I arrived there was no limo and she wouldn’t answer. I had to uber. When I got to hotel she never reserved me a room. Took hours on the phone and waiting to get the room. Was staying in the owners sweet. Was promised all these amenities and got nothing. Was told had free cabana in my price by hotel host. When I got there the front desk they said no. Front desk took no accountability and would not answer anything. Wouldn’t answer any questions I had. Service was horrible and slow.
1st time here in Vegas, 1st time in this hotel and it was pretty phenomenal, we had a great view in front of our hotel, 23rd floor and it did not disappoint, easily closer to the strip, i wish I wouldve done more nights here, best trip Ive ever done so far, well definitely be back.
I absolutely loved my stay at Westgate, we had so much fun. The staff is amazing, best of all this Resort is pet friendly. My Pit Bull came with us and we had no issues at all.
I was expecting this trip to be amazing with the past reviews of this place and that was not the case. Most of these items may be due to COVID but a majority of them was not. Here is my personal experience:-Check in process due to the line took over an hour at 1pm; line was even longer at 10pm at night so it was hard to get things handled-Walls paper thin; could hear entire group in the next room-Shuttle for The Strip and Freemont had the incorrect times posted and caused more than one guest an inconvenience-There were only 2 visible plug in the room that we found. Definitely need more visible plugs for guests in the rooms-2 elevators stopped working the second day-Don’t let them talk you into touring for a timeshare presentation because it’s twice the time allocated-Pool closes at 6pm which is crazy early
Clean, staff is friendly but everything is so overpriced! Plain old coffee for $4 (no complimentary at all anywhere not even the rooms) you can go across the street to the little gas station and get a LARGE coffee how ever you want it for $2.50.... if you can avoid buying food or drinks or souvenirs here I highly recommend you go else where. The rooms are nice, clean and have comfortable harder beds and plenty of pillows and blankets. Smaller casino but a nice rewards card program that will also get you discounts around the resort. DO NOT use their pop machines!!! There was not a single drink in any of them and the one on the 3rd floor ate our money and we were refused a refund so a $3 Pepsi turned into a freaking $7 Pepsi which I could have bought in their store for $6.
Negative: Hotel is not clean and all the amenities in room were not working. I feel like the room is very old. I can see large patches of scratches on tables and walls.
West-gate, what can I say, it must have been fate. I had happen to arrive on the day of the Superbowl and the hotel was throwing a big party, which wasnt a bad thing. The hotels atmosphere was very electric and welcoming. People can be seen gambling and having a good time all throughout the day and night. Theres never a dull moment in Vegas and especially at Westgate which relatively an affordable hotel. The service was prompt and good, but it couldve been better. One nice thing about this hotel is that its just a couple minutes from the strip. The reason Im giving it a 4 star review is because my room had very minimal lighting. The only thing to illuminate the room was two lamps on the night stands by the bed. Other than that it was a good stay and would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a place to stay.
The worst experience I have ever had at a Las Vegas Hotel. My family and I will never stay here again! We rented out a total of 5 rooms this past fathers day weekend and since the start everything went wrong! We checked in on time and went up to the room with all our luggage and our room was barely going to be cleaned! Went down and complained and I was moved to another room. The north tower elevators were down, the central towers had 3 working elevators only. My room and the other 4 my family rented had no AC it was a sauna! I went down and told them they had to send someone in because I had small children in the room. We returned 6 hours later and it was still not fixed, non of the rooms were! We all went down back to complain and it took 3 more hours to get it done. The towels were stained, and a nickel size bug fell from the towels! We then ran out of toilet paper and went down at 9 am to request more, came back at 4 pm and it had still not been done! I went back to complain of how this was so unacceptable and I finally got my toilet paper at 7 pm.During this time, there was another guest waiting for a manager as he had a big red bug picture on his phone as well! Ridiculous and unacceptable service especially when you have toddlers and elderly guest in a hot room! My parents had to get a new room because their AC never came up. I was waived $60 dollars for all this inconvenience.
First room wasn’t clean. Stains/dust on counter top, bathroom not clean.. hair on shower curtain from previous occupancy’s, tub dirty. Then we upgraded to a better room and went into the room to see bugs in the bathroom sink when we first came and turned on the light. ( four to be exact ). Then after we stayed a night the next morning I seen another in the sink when I turned on the light. ( final straw )!!
Really good experience at this hotel, I got a very good rate for a three night stay. There is a pool on the third floor and there is a fitness center available for guests as well. Of course their are plenty of slot machines and things of that sort here for the people who like to gamble. You can also have your car valeted at the front door. The one thing I dont like too much is how the central elevator is the only elevator that functions between midnight and six in the morning. It makes getting around a bit more difficult. This isnt enough to make me want to give this hotel anything less than five stars though.
Upon arrival, we were greeted by a few nice ladies that welcomed us to the resort. We had our temperatures checked and were checked-in in less than 10 minutes. The room was nice and clean, city view which I booked for, food prices were normal for a resort, pool area was nice. I thought I read somewhere that there were 3 pools but only one was open and only until 6pm. Not sure if these are the normal pool hours or adjusted due to covid but it’s very hot so I wish the pool was open later. The drinks and food at the Cabana Bar and Grill was very good. Some people question if Vegas is a good idea for kids and I say ABSOLUTELY! My kids enjoyed themselves everyday. The only con was our room didn’t cool off much until late at night, although the thermostat read 60 degrees. Otherwise, we had a great experience and will absolutely stay at the Westgate again.
At a time when hygiene, cleanliness, and sanitation are detrimental to any public place, you would think that hotels and resorts would pay special attention to cleanliness before and after a guest checks out. Well not at the West Gate hotel in Las Vegas. Usually, before I check out, I make sure to check all drawers and under the bed to ensure that I have not forgotten any items. I pulled one drawer open and got the surprise of my life. Inside the drawer was dirty panties, lab results for multiple stds test, and personal information including banking transactions. After informing the staff at the front desk, I was asked why I had not told them earlier, as if I had an obligation to inspect the professionalism and integrity of the housekeeping staff. Because these items were left in the room, it is safe to assume that the room was not cleaned at all in light of the COVID-19 guidelines set up to allow them to operate business. At check out the agent offered to remove 1 resort fee for the mishap, as if the fee was my primary concern. After I asked to speak with a manger named Tracy, she agreed to waive the resort fees for both nights of our stay. Please make sure to inspect your room thoroughly or don’t stay at the Westgate. Not only was the room not cleaned or sanitary, but a guest banking, collection notices and medical information was left exposed to the public.
A very decent hotel in Las Vegas with good deals and offers., It has a magnificent entrance and a fine casino in its base.. An average place for window shopping too.. Ambience is good..The rooms have a limited space.. Limited amenities.. No microwave ovens and a very small fridge is there.. But the bathrooms are spacious.. Service is also good.. Neat and cleaned periodically..The balcony view is too scenic and a thing to note..
An amazing place full of history legends, worlds largest sport book and incredible dining options. Top of the line customer service
This is absolutely not a 4 star resort. I’d rate this a 2-3 star. There are nicer hotels in the area.
My issue is the Sports Book. Defund the Sports Book Police. They would put any of these police departments to shame. Lots of seemingly unnecessary rules. Any review that says the overall facility is excellent is from a third world country. It’s not as clean as it could be. The cable TV signal did not work Friday afternoon through early Saturday evening. It can be a nice place without being fancy like a lot of the places in LV. It appears to be a good value before you get her.
This was my first time here. This place goes for the antiquated look. Some like it while others dont. We went on a tour of the place and got to see statues and memorabilia of Elvis and others who visited the place throughout the years. At the time of our visit, Barry Manilow was a current resident. We didnt see him while here. I did like the set up of the pool area and cabanas. Theres a nice view from the suite overlooking the pool area and Las Vegas. The staff were friendly and we had no issues while here. When youre in Las Vegas, come check out the place and see some Las Vegas history.
HORRIBLE CHECK IN. REQUESTED ROOM CLOSE TO ELEVATOR. ASSIGNED ROOM THAT WAS IN THE NORTH TOWER BUT THE NORTH TOWER ELEVATOR WAS CLOSED. BE AWARE THAT RESORT AMMENTIES CLOSE AT 6PM. VEGAS WAS 104 DEGREES AND WE COULD NOT USE THE POOL. FOOD IS AVERAGE. ROOM AVERAGE FOR PRICE.
Positive: Check in was fine. Unfortunately the room we had was bad (some one smoke weed. Got my wife sick. Lucky they send us to another room Negative: Lack of security. Lots of peoples smoking in the hallway.
Service varied among facilities. Pool n spa nice. Variety of shops. Large complex requiring lots of walking.
IThe hotel was nice overall, and cleaning staff did an amazing job coming into room everyday to clean.
This was our 1st trip to Las Vegas and being tourists we fell for a trap. A very nice lady approached us on Las Vegas blvd and said she had a special priced package for us. We paid $40 for tickets to the gondola rides and the wax museum. We were told the $40 would be returned to us after sitting through a 90 minute presentation. Literally 4 hours later with 3 people attempting to pressure us into purchasing a time share we finally were able to get out of the trap. We were not refunded the $40. The tickets to the wax museum were void because it was already closed and the gondola ride tickets had to be retreived at the wax museum. Basically we lost 4 hours of our life and $40 to get nothing in return. The gentlemam who spoke with us at 1st was nice, but the 2 women who were managers did not uphold what they said they would do, did not return our money and were very pushy and rude. Please do not fall into this trap as we did.
I was looking forward to staying at the resort. I have been in Magazines and have meet the owner of Westgate in Orlando. I sell hotels and resort properties. The owners suites are amazing but I stayed on the hotel side. The rooms were nice but they did not do a great job of controlling guests. There was a party on my floor and the police had to be called. Then there was an incident while standing in front of the hotel that would give anyone PTSD. The lines were extremely long for food and the options were few due to covid but it could have been better. I called and left a message for the manager before writing the review and havent heard back yet. I was very disappointed in my stay as it fell below expectations.
Best hotel I’ve been to yet. Food is amazing. The pool is HUGE. Rooms have amazing views. It is right near the convention center. I highly recommend this and would rate it 150 out of 100
An ok hotel and not sure if it deserves the name of being a 4-star hotel. Do think the hotel needs to improve its soundproof wall or door or windows or whatsoever. My friend and I stayed here for a few nights and constantly got woken up and even couldnt sleep in the middle of the night because of guests next door talking / having sex and guests upstairs walking. Our room wasnt cleaned on the second night either. Despite the above mentioned, the interior design looks modern.
I really enjoyed my stay clean rooms friendly staff and very nice view. casino treated me and my wife very well
TV didnt work, toilet leaked, curtains didnt close. That was just the 1st room. The 2nd room was next to the elevator, so you heard that ALL NIGHT LONG. There arent man restaurant options and the few that are there, are nasty.
Positive: Free parking Negative: Gave me a dirty room at first then asked me to pay for an upgraded room. Was given a different room after jumping through hoops. Pool misters were broken and was soaking everyoneâ€s things. Wouldnâ€t turn them off when we asked.
Of course it is no surprise that Las Vegas resorts know how to treat their guests, and Westgate follows that tradition beautifully. Our last minute decision to stay at the Westgate Las Vegas was one we are glad we made. The hotel is gorgeous and our room was a wonderful alcove of clean comfort and peacefulness which offered us much needed rest from our travels. The next morning we strolled the lobby and casino and had an amazing breakfast at Sid’s Cafe (sharing would definitely be plausible considering the tremendous helping sizes, however you would want to check if there is a sharing charge). We took the giant cinnamon roll with us to munch on after we got back on the road. Although our stay was brief it was quite memorable. To top off our awesome experience, we got the room at a significant discount by carefully searching online and taking advantage of Expedia membership points. The Monorail stops at the resort and a day pass can be purchased for $13 per adult, which is something we look forward to experiencing when we return to the Westgate in the future. If you like this review, let me know with a thumbs up :)
Our heater DID NOT WORK ..Our room was HUGE.. We reserved a KING size bed but they GAVE our room away because we did not check in until MIDNIGHT.. Queen size bed.. Nice view.HOT SHOWER AND EXPRESS CHECK OUT..
Learn how to get to the elevator without being harrassed by the time share sales staff. Truly its crazy. Every, every, every time we walked to the elevator we were approached. It made our experience poor.Hotel is very outdated, but thats easy to change. Pool was nice and so were the walkout rooms.
Nice rooms, nice amenities but the walls are thin. Had a family of four staying next door and could hear most of what they were saying. Loved that it had a monorail stop which made it easy to get around for the weekend.
Clean, tidy, simple, Spacious, nice view here. Big high comfy bed. The only little down size is hotel distance from the strip which you can solve by buying a day pass around the 13$ for the hanged tram which connects you to many hotels in the strip and move you around from and to the west gate hotel. 3.5-4 star to this hotel. Another thing I felt is it’s more a chill hotel if you want more active crazy casino/ feeling vibe you got to book at the strip but overall good value for money and tram service is right out the hotel .
Positive: ??? Negative: Constantly people trying to get your attention for their benefit
Free parking, good service and no waiting at the lobby. There is only few issues in the room, such as the faucet, bath tub, and we can hear the other room’s words. I would not complain because they offer a much cheaper price. If you want to have better experience here, maybe give the front desk 20 bucks tips. So he or she will offer you a free room upgrade.
Positive: Location and room Negative: Front Desk staff was not friendly
Dont waste your money go somewhere else. Elevators were down had us walking for a long time just to get in or out of our room. Outrageous resort fee.
Fun place to go not the fanciest hotel though. I ended up buying a time share and omg do I regret it. The venetian is way better. After I bought the time share I owe $6000 dollars on they wont let me sell it back. The room was promised to be alot bigger then it was the first night, but after I bought the time share not only was room cheaper they really worked with me. What I mean by that was omg alot cheaper and two rooms that connected with a door.
Positive: They changed our flight & staff allowed us much later checkout at no additional charge. Very friendly staff & apparently great managers behind the scenes as well. Highly recommend Westgate Las Vegas!!! Negative: N/A
You get treated differently once you don’t buy the time share. Horrible people skills.
I stayed for 3 nights when I checked in they didnt have my extra towels and sheets in the room because I wasnt going to have housekeeping services the rooms fo not have guest laundry or a microwave or coffee maker no free breakfast or wifi not toothbrush ect free u gotta buy everything... also the room wasnt vacuumed stopes on mirror pubic hairs on floor my tub was leaking and bathroom doors lockwas brokenall the time I was there the door lock older need maintenance to fix a lot in this hotel beds were hard and old only used flat sheets also was ok will stay another place next timehotel nobathroom o
If you go to the Westgate I can tell you that if youre a sports fan you are going to love their Sports room. They have VIP seating and also General seating with screens everywhere and the Step Boards keeping everything up-to-date. if going to a show is more your speed then I would highly recommend seeing the one and only Barry Manilow. The show is unbelievable. 45 years of Music Hall done in a 90-minute show with a full band and backup singers. I would highly recommend this terrific slightly off-strip property for your next Vegas Vacation.
Westgate Resort is a go to if you’re on a budget, but still want a luxury experience! The room was beautifully furnished with true Las Vegas additions, artwork and furniture. Their customer service is phenomenal as well! Love it.
Its fine. A little old. I liked the size of the room. I did not like the way staff and retailers inside chase you with the hard sell on their wares or time share options. If you decline politely they get confrontational. No is no people. Makes me not want to come back but I have a beloved convention here so I will reluctantly return.
Great venue for conferrences, recital, weddings and other. They have huge ballroom ground. Food inside hotel taste good. Rooms are clean and overlooking the busy Strip Street. Located near train station.
The hotel is about 10 min from the strip. The price is reasonable but the room wasn’t very clean. There was some face-wash and razor left from the guest before us in the bathroom. The casino was nice and I definitely recommend the Fresh breakfast buffet that they have downstairs. For our first stay we got free entry for a magic show.
If you want to be in a nice, clean, quiet hotel in Vegas this is the place. They also had an amazing breakfast if you can get up early.
Fabulous hotel! Quite large. It’s got the monorail there so it’s very convenient and a great experience to ride it. The “Consiag” service we had was great, free breakfast and free unlimited drinks and cocktails!! The casino is quite small and not much good stuff there... but still had fun! Elvis Presley was sleeping in my room!!
Positive: Located where the event took place. Negative: Videos playing on screens were very explicit.
I chose to stay at the Westgate for the sportsbook but I was very disappointed to find out that there were no machines to make your own bets. There were only 2 staff members at the desk to make a wager for you so by the time you made it to the front of the line you missed your bet. I really dont understand why there wouldnt be wagering machines available like other casinos but besides that I enjoyed the room and the casino.
The location wasnt bad. Easy to use monorail to get you to the strip. The added resort fee on the bill was $38. Very cheap nights during the week. There was a scent of air freshener throughout the hotel. The room smelled old and had a rattly A/C. The bed was comfortable and clean. There was no coffee in the room which was a first in my experience of staying in any hotel/rental in my life. Very nice fitness center, free valet parking and very helpful staff made up for the room. I wouldnt stay there again. The hotel just felt really old and tired.
I’ve been staying in my room for about five days and I honestly still cannot get over my view nor the comfort that this room has been giving me. Hope to come back for another stay soon
Slightly outdated but a good place for an extended stay. Was in town for the WSOP and for the price it was very manageable. Staff is friendly and all requests where meet promptly and with a smile. The property is pretty much centrally located and you can get to all areas of Vegas in no time. The Monorail has a Westgate terminal that is very convenient as well. The room was comfortable with a good view however there was a lack of power outlets. Will be back next time I am in Vegas.
What can I say beautiful hotel great size pool definitely family-friendly. The hotel does need a lot of fixing. We had a room on the 27th floor which was spacious and very clean. But the shower would not stop dripping all night and it was super loud and annoying even with the restroom door closed. They sent maintenance to try to fix the problem but never showed so that was disappointing but other then that we had a great time and definitely would come back.
First time in Vegas gave us life long memories from Fremont St to New Vegas and all the sites to the 2st time I ever road a bus. Lammy will remember this time always.
