The food is really good and cheap. The service, not so great by our server Renee BUT watched another server, Rosa, who was friendly, professional and all around wonderful. When we finished and was walking out, our server Renee was sitting at a machine, playing and drinking a beer. Turns out she was off so maybe she didnt provide good service for us because she needed to get to her beer.

Casino was pretty busy, the restaurant was even more so, place was tidy and clean.Food was good, I ordered the steak and had a few bits of fat that were uneadable.Appetizer was on time and salad was filling.Comfort food at its finest..

There were three of us for dinner. The ravioli were really large served with a nice red sauce and garlic bread. The chicken fried steak was really good as were the sides that came with it. It was huge and could have easily been split for two people. The porterhouse steak dinner wasnt as good. Ordered medium rare and it was really rare. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Im sure Ill eat there again

Did not get to stay here. Booked room online, pd for it, arrived after a long day of driving, ready for one of those T Bones, lol but the professional lady behind the counter said she didnt take online banking card. (Not a prepid)I bought flights, rented a truck for 2 weeks through Enterprise and stayed in several hotels across California and Arizona using this card, paid for all fuel, and food, never had a problem. Was more disappointed ....looked like an OK place to stay! The lady kindly canceled my reservation and suggested another place. Didnt argue with her, no sense in it lol

The hotel room was reasonably priced then you add on the amenity fees OK I can handle that but then I have no maid service I have no clean towels the floors are gross my air conditioner didn’t work which they did eventually fax I asked them about the maid service and they said with the corona there is no maid service I said how about some towels and she goes here you go you could’ve called I said yes I could have if I had a phone in my room which they never brought up I did eventually find the phone In a drawer on the day that I left. So when you pay for amenity fees I’m assuming part of that would be made service clean towels some thing. But I will say this for them the restaurant has great food and the people working on the floor at the casino super friendly

Okay affordable place to stay the night. Place did seem a bit dated. Not many available outlets in the room. Heavy smoke smell in the lobby since it is connected to the casino. Plenty of parking. Apparently there was an error and another guest was assigned our room and came in during the middle of the night while we were sleeping. No clue how that happens but hopefully nothing was stolen.

Ive stayed, ate, and played at the Longhorn casino & hotel multiple times. As for all the casinos on Boulder Highway, this one would be my best. They have great specials in the restaurant, not to mention the food is really good, and the room was really nice and clean, and you actually do win theyre sometimes.

16oz for $8.99 on the billboard,.server are trying to educate the costumer by her unpleasing service.Food is not the same when they serve, and the server is trying to cover their fault by serving a food not on the standard base on what you saw on the menu and on the billboard.Steak is not medium, the onion rings is not there,the Veggie is plain beans without taste(cold), Fries is (cold), the white bread she insist the roll bread is a white bread, food is really very cold.My steak need to redo it medium it means 50%.The server I guess she is supervisor or manager not friendly.If not for my BF I wont eat to this place.Very very disappointed always when this lady serve us.I tried to eat my steak lucky my BF ate all Very unhappy..

We had dinner here twice. Very good and the price is very reasonable. Small restaurant in the casino but it takes you back to high end service and good meals.

My feelings about the longhorns are still the same well not true after meeting there cook at the bus stop the other day I evon. Like the place more thanks longhorns for bringing that home town feeling from the moment you walk in to your establishment hard to believe such friendliness being so close to that dirty nasty wallmart

The food at the Chuck Wagon steak house was delicious. The ribeye steak was cooked perfectly and the mashed potato with gravy was superb. Gaming was great!!!

I enjoyed the food in their resturaunt. It took a little time for the food to be served, but thats what you get with fresh food.The waiter also very attentive, assuring my drink stayed full and that I didnt need anything.

Most recent trip to dining wasnt as good as usual. We were seated near a woman that spent five minutes coughing up her lungs and several minutes less violent coughing. No one asked her to leave and we couldnt be moved to the three or more empty table nearby. We had already ordered and felt bad about just leaving then. Sorry now that we didnt just walk. I am immune compromised and dont need that right now.. Their food is still good as ever and we normally enjoy dining there.

Had lunch, which was actually my breakfast. Everything was good except the hash browns, they were a little dry. The waitress was very friendly and attentive. I won more the enough on one of the gaming machines to pay for my visit. This casino is a great little gem.

I got a great deal on this room while travelling through town.. It was very quiet on the third floor. The casino looked lively and the pool had smiling guests all around. The food deals are great and the meals are pretty good. They have rooms that are pet friendly and offer smoking or non smoking. There are coin op laundry and vending machines in the hotel area.

First of all the property is old but charming. It could do with a complete refurbishment, but the room that I stayed in was very clean with clean towels etc every day. There was a small fridge, and T.V in the room. An iron can be requested.I would have loved a proper ironing board ( a full size one ) like you get in other hotels but Longhorns only have a small ( sleeve board ) and as I stay at least 16 days to 3 weeks at a time it would be nice to have a proper ironing board. There is also a laundry room with washer and dryer.The staff are wonderful and friendly and the front desk staff and the bar staff are great ambassadors for this hotel/Casino. It is approximately 6 to 8 miles from the strip but the local bus is just across the road. I have been coming to Vegas for 20 odd years and have stayed all down the strip, but this small casino/.hotel would in my opinion beat these huge corporations hands down for value for money and friendliness.

Off Strip, and a low key place to hang out at without all the glitz and glamour of bigger casinos. Wear your mask though! Strictly followed!

Stopped in for a beer and some slots. Tried to get that beer for 15 minutes. Cocktail server absolutely rude and then never stopped by even though I was playing in front of the bar. Cashed out and let the girl in the cage know about the service. She was not surprised or apologetic. Wont be back. Plenty of places that want people to come in and spend some time and money.

The only downside about them. Its stinky like cigarettes ash trays. At soon as you walk in. Ther meals are kinda worth it sometimes. After making review i get a reply with. This comes with people that dont smoke. So I guess is fine with being stinky 24 hrs after visiting the long horn casino.

It was over priced. The employees were rude and I waited 20 mins at the front desk until someone came to check me in. Online had a cheaper price but she would not honor it. The room was dirty as well. Also the tv was not working as well. I will not be returning.

The restaurant I ate at the steak was tough and all they had was pumpkin for vegetables. I dont like or eat pumpkin. Should of had other choices

We went to enjoy food, not the Casino. The food turned out to be wonderful. We had a 16 oz porterhouse steak, baked potato, and mixed vegetables all for $8.99 per person. Our waitress was very friendly and helpful, the only reason I rated it three stars was the prevalent second hand smoke that made my eyes water the entire time we were in the facility. We found their covid-19 protections to be adequate, though not impressive.

Update: Kristina is absolutely amazing, had me laughing so hard, exactly what we need in a time like these. I updated the stars as well. From 3 to 4 Stars. Food was absolutely delicious my steak was medium well so the edges were burnt but the flavor was amazing.I raised the star to 3 because the Manager and the hostess were amazing. The manager gave up his booth so my party could be seated. And the hostess was very kind and courteous.

Longhorn hotel casino is a older location but the restaurant food is real good..

They r not fair to there customers, they accuse me of smoking in there room and wasnt present,I tried fix it with Amanda and leslie so I could return, this was in july I never heard back .I spent thousands of dollars with them for abt 4yrs visiting from ohio and never had a problem. Would love someone to get back with me. I miss going to eat and the casino

The Longhorn Casino and Hotel is a bit off the beaten track and not overly fancy but the price is fabulous. The hotel was clean, quiet and very comfortable as an overnight guest. The Casino part is rather small compared to Strip casinos and thats OK. The restaurant is great, offers great service and a wide variety of items on the menu. We would certainly stay again and would recommend the casino/hotel to others. If a downside, the location is a bit remote and not adjacent to other casino/hotel establishments as compared to the Strip or Fremont Street.

The prime rib is amazing! If you like your beef, youll stop in.

Only good thing was the price. $8.99 for a 16oz Porter House with 2 sides. Veggies was bland, steak tasted burnt and the mashed potatoes were ok.

Friendly staff. Wish they had a little more machines and maybe better promotions for signing up for a new players card. But they have a sweet gift shop and more than fair prices.

Staff was great; however the room is in need of renovations. The carpet was filthy, the lamp shades were stained as well as the duvet.

Where is possible This has got to be the worst possible hotel that I have ever stayed at, 1st off the Room was not clean secondly the service was terrible. They over charge my card, when I tried to call to address it the supervisor had no idea why it worked the way that it did and had no way to fix it. If youre looking for a cheap Room do yourself a favor and spend a couple extra bucks and stay at either Sams town or motel 6 or something. The place was ghetto and the area was really bad.

This place definitely not what we expected, after searching for a longhorn restaurant. Seemed cool as we first walked in the host was nice until we got this unfriendly, no manner, bad waiter, none personality, non customer service having a** waiter. Awful for black visitors.. stay away, you will feel the negative energy. #myOPINION!

My boyfriend and I came to eat at the Longhorn Casino’s little restaurant inside. I ordered the porterhouse steak meal and he ordered breakfast. The food was really good, our waitress was great. The reason for two stars is because he and I both got sick when we got home. We both were in the bathrooms all night and didn’t eat anything for the majority of the next day. It’s disappointing because I really liked it there. Not too sure what got us sick because we both ate something totally different.

We stayed a night here on our way to San Diego from Utah. This was as expected, the strong smell of cigarette smoke and very sad looking people gambling.Luckily the staff was really nice and our rooms didn’t smell like smoke and that was really all we hoped for.So if you are looking for something to give you a break from the road this is a pretty good deal. They had some good looking breakfast deals I wanted to try but didn’t get the chance, so maybe next time.

The casino was a let down. Very small and not a big variety of slots. The slots were very tight! There were a lot of people when I was there who I am pretty sure were homeless.

Too smoky and no slots with the one arm bandit lever.. But, great cafe with great menu, portions, and food quality

I have to say that this is actually a really good hotel for the price and I think the all the staff was wonderful except for one person. The lady that checked me in named Debbie was very rude, condescending, belligerent, and should not be work in front of the general public. Debbie does not know how to be friendly to a guest. However, I have to say everybody else was friendly including the General manager, security, housekeeping, and the staff at Chuckwagon. I had Chris at Chuckwagon a few times as a server and he was so great every time he served me. The hotel was clean and comfortable with good wifi. This review would get a 5 star but Debbie was one bad apple that ruined the bunch with her hateful no care attitude.

The hotel was really nice! We enjoyed staying here! But the service at the restaurant in the hotel was terrible. We recieved our food, but after that we were ignored. We did not have a server check back with us, and after we had finished our food, we got sick of waiting for the bill and we had to flag down a server. On top of that, the fruit bowl I recieved with my order had soggy/partly rotten fruit, the hash browns were burned, the cold beer was warm, and the wait for our food was really long.

My husband and I split the Porterhouse steak and the banana split for dinner.

One of my new favorite places. Huge portions of decent food at reasonable prices. I dont like wading through the security guards and suspicious looking people who hang around the entrance but you gotta do what you gotta do. They have a 1lb monster burger but I opted for the regular burger--it was too big to finish. My daughter said the French dip was awesome. I am going to try their breakfast.

I wish there was a zero star option. I knew the minute we walked in I was going to have a rough night... Non smoking rooms should be NON Smoking!!! The odor in the room was terrible. Then the cleanliness left a bit to be desired as well. The location was super noisy and the drafty windows did not help. But the real deal killer was the child sized toilet and the complete absence of hot water in the shower. I was booked for the week and left after one night. It was truly terrible!
