The park so clean, restrooms clean, every one have social distance. I love this park.

Very nice and clean park I love this place, there is enough area for play and small size party. Also, there is a gated area for the littles and all the equipment nice and new.

Quiet and well maintained park..

I took my kids to play volleyball on the open grass area of the park. The weather was nice so we had a good time. The park wasnt crowded so we felt safe. We didnt notice anyone wearing masks, though, so we made sure to keep our distance when people walked by. We did notice, however, that some parents wore masks but not one of those parents put masks on their children. I dont understand why parents dont do this to protect their children as well as others who visit the park. I also noticed quite a bit of dog/animal feces in the grass, so watch out for that if youre walking or playing in the actual grass. And please pick up after your dogs, its just courteous to do so.

We walk there its a nice park. No1 bothers us its always clean and restrooms too and theres always workers there and police patrol.

Wish they groomed the sand more often during fall (lots of leaf debris) and the pot smokers stayed home. Had to shorten our excursion to not expose my five year old.

Great park. Has a zipline and jungle gym for the kids and benches in the shade for the parents. My kids love this place!

Such a nice spot for a relaxed day by yourself or a group of friends. Lots of shade, picnic benches, play grounds for the kids. Its even got a swimming program and pool.

Very nice park. The low review is for the closed restrooms. The city of lakewood is only doing this to save money! As a local homeowner this is not acceptable.

I never been to this park but today I came and I love the breeze. It is free parking. Fun for you and the entire family.

The park had an upgrade and its great. Grew up in the area and seen great changes over the years. Also has caring rec staff and rec programs

Our first time visiting this park it was like no other. Again we Celebrated my Granddaughters Birthday Party it was very nice. Everyone enjoyed themselves in there own way. We need to have more parks like this one. Its one of a kind 100 percent!!!

Wheres peace is abundant

Its got lots of trees and grass and places to sit and relax. Baseball fields and two full basketball courts and playgrounds for the kids. Big enough to just find a spot alone and just blaze a fatty.

Love this park. Nice amount of shade. There is a gated park for the little ones and a bigger one that the big guys can play on. My kids love the pirate ship theme.

It was great for Halloween night my kids have a blast there after that we went out around the neighborhood trick or treat

Nice clean park with separate areas for kids of all ages. Toddlers with security fence in their area is the apart from jungle gym and basketball courts.

Always clean and such a safe park for my 2 year old to play at. The parents are most always mindful to keep the gate closed as making this park ideal for smaller children. My son always has so much fun climbing and sliding.

This would be an awesome park, if it there was no sand in the playground.. daughter had fun though

My kids love this park. Has grilling area, baseball field, swimming pool and 2 playgrounds (One is for children 2 to 5 yrs and the other is for kids 5 to 12 yrs or something like that. Anyway, great family park.

Great Park theres a fence around the playground, so that makes me more relaxed to have my baby play.

This park is clean and the staff is really nice. Great place for kids in the summer.

Clean, well-maintained park. No transients hanging out. Friendly staff. Plenty of street parking, on the day that I visited; not sure what parking is like on weekends. Pool was staffed by two lifeguards. Grandkids and I will visit again soon.

An excellent park with updated kids and teens play areas. Plenty of room for picnics and games.The pool is open during the summer months and the location is great.Lastly, the lawn is well maintained and trees provide plenty of shade in most picnic areas.

Lots of open space for parties/fun. Only complaint is that tables and grills werent cleaned of an apparent birthday party from maybe the day before. Cake on a few tables and dirty barbeque grills. Nice park

Fairy well kept park and playground, there are 2 different areas for the kids to play one area for 2 year olds to 5 year olds that can played safely in a gated chain playground filled with sand. If you go up the Hill you can find another playground for older cats, however sometimes the older kids like to go into their younger taught learned kids play pen and it might get a little rough for the young ones.

The park is well maintained, with recent renovations completed a couple of months ago. The renovations included a rain water collection system, that diverts water from the local canal, and stores it for park irrigation. Also the playgrounds have received updates that include a zipline, thats very popular with the kids.

This is such a nice park. I particularly like that the playground for the little kids is really nice and large, but fenced in so that even when you cant see your kids you can be pretty sure they are still safe. The zip like at the bigger kids area is a lot of fun too.

Amazing park.. They have different fun things for kids all ages.. My favorite is the swings where i can sit on and another small swing is attached and i can swing safely with my baby

Went earlier with my son, to meet up with family. They have a great playing area for toddlers and older kids. the playgrounds are divided up so that good. They have a pool at this park which is great for the summer. They seem to have just remodel it.

Recently remodeled the majority of the park. Has new playgrounds for both the younger and older children. New picnic tables and covers on the Del Amo and Downey sides of the park. Pool, Baseball diamond and Basketball courts still there. Recreation staff still provided during after school and weekends. Nice park for any activity.

This is a medium sized park with big open spaces for football and baseball fields. They also have basketball courts, a pool and a playground.

I always took my daughter here to run, play on the swings, slides and other fun toys. Nice and good park to relax, BBQ and picnic..

Ive been going to this park since I was 13 years old

They have a toddler & second 5-12 years old play grounds. Basketball courts, baseball fields, swimming pool & a few picnic areas with BBQS. Lots of shady trees rest under. Bathrooms that are keep clean.

My favorite park! I love the toddler play area, the pool is clean, and there are plenty of spaces for events/picnics.

Very good update playground for kids. It is near by elementary school therefore you will have trouble finding a parking space during weekdays.

Cute park with a gate around one playground and the other has a zip line. The zip line really is for kids under 7 or 5 feet tall. If they are bigger they take off nicely but soon enough they hit the sand, I could help but laugh.

Love this park grew up here. They use to have a lil McDonalds at end of pool that served cookies, fries, hamburgers, soda, and that classic soft serve ice cream, fyi...those were the days...

This park at the moment is undergoing construction! I could only imagine how awesome its going to turn out in the future. Not that long ago they made changes to both the big kids playground and the little kids playground. The results were amazing (: my kiddos love it.

Its a nice size park, some of the baby swings not working or someone forgot to remove the safety tape, other than that, its all good

Beware of Hoover students. After school hours some student stole my phone from my baby stroller, school wasnt helpful. Besides that the new playgrounds for the little ones is awesome the revamp is drawing crowds in a good way. Has baseball fields and basketball gated area. Restrooms are next to pool, attached to recreational building(in the middle of the park) Parking is sparse, meaning the perimeter of the park only; no parking lots.

Playgrounds are separated by age level so the toddlers arent having to worry about being tromped by bigger kids and vice versa. The pool is really a great resource in the summer with swimming lessons and free swims for a very reasonable price. They have put in some new equipment for the larger kids playground including a zip line which is pretty popular. They have basketball courts that are well lighted at night. They are doing construction on a large part of the park to upgrade the shelters where people come to have parties and barbecue with seating and a sink, etc. When those are completed, it will be the best park in Lakewood.

Why did they spend money to make changes. It still looks the same.

We love bolivar park always have and always will. My oldest has been playing here since T-Ball and now all she does is softball and loves it.

Its a 2 to 5 year .gated park I can let my littles just run around with out worrying about them running towards cars . I always try and keep the gate closed when ever a parent just walks out without closing the gate.
