Great place to take the family. They have a boat launch, a kayak launch, they have picnic areas and restroom facilities. Very well maintained. Could use a modern update.

This is a nice place but suffered much hurricane damage. Was closed for camping but I hung out at a pull though campsite until dark when the mosquitoes swarmed. Give it a few weeks.

What a great little gem of a park. This RV park has green grass with beautiful trees. Its quiet and easy to find. Theres a boat ramp very close and clean pavilions. The camp sites are long, paved, and level. We had water, direct sewer, 30 and 50 amp, fire pit, and table. Please respect others by observing the check out time of 1pm, for check in is 2pm.

Very nice clean place to enjoy your family. Nice boating area, we visit frequently.

Ive just crossed from Florida to Mexico and am Im on my way back. In my view, this campground is the best value in the southern USA if you are tenting. $4.00 for a site and a hot shower!! Plus, a friendly caretaker! Great job Louisiana!

Very clean well kept launch and park. The people that park their truck and trailers arent the brightest but still a nice place to launch.

It was a great place to camp at. There are electric hook-up sites, a fire ring, picnic tables, hot showers, and very kid friendly.

Beautiful place to visit just to relax or bring the kids to play in the playground they have an event hall that you can rent my wife and got married there in April of 2014

Great room too have a gathering. Spacious. Kitchen way bigger than mine. Friendly staff. View of the river is AWESOME. No phone reception but is that really why youre there!!!!

Pretty parish park with only 8 sites for RVs.

Its were every one goes to relax . To get away from home for awhile. Its a laid back park. U can camp out by tent or by RV. Thers a play ground for the kids and a boat launch so u can fish or cruise the river. Also there is a in door center to host a reception or brithday parties.its not real big and not to small. Its were the simple people go. Remember its the simple things in life that matters

Amazing spot, very quiet, a huge playground, good bathhouse, about 10 RV and a few tent sites. You need to reserve and pay online (there you can see if there is a spot available for tonight too!). Highly recommended! :)

Great park with several camping spots, including a few large Ill thrust. $12 a night for 50amp power and water. Has a dump station onsite. Park also has boat launch, playground and clean bathrooms. Will definitely be staying here again.

Its a nice quiet place to bring the kids camping for the weekend. They have warm showers in the restroom too. The camp ground is really clean and shaded. Just make sure to bring bug spray.

Great place to bring a camper. Rv spots are spacious. Boat launch is in great shape. Fishing dock is easily accessible. Quiet place to camp and fish. Go there almost every weekend to launch.

Small, beautiful state park

The last two times we stayed, March and April 2018, there were drunks filling the park. March they were fighting and April they were screaming country western songs until 2am. Loose dogs and children running all over spaces with no parental supervision. This USED to be a nice place. Both times the park supervisor was no where to be seen. Campers throwing food in the woods and washing Rv at site...could not tell if they dumped gray water.

Nice area and building. The building rental was a little steep I thought considering they would let us in the night before to decorate for the wedding. The plumbing in both bathrooms backed up in the floor. This is also a non smoking facility

I lived at this Park as a child w/my Gr.parents.. so Im partial.however, they have updated the P as to,amd it h a s plenty for the children play ground, boat launch, camper spaces, tent camping..We hold alot of our childrens Bday partys here.. We just live it..
