While driving around sightseeing in Lake Charles; we stumbled upon this place. It’s a nice place to take a walk by the water. Great place for a picnic and enjoy the view. Nearby is Cypress Pond which is a fenced off area of water that inhabits alligators. We were there about 15 minutes and nearly walked away disappointed; when a 4 foot alligator popped up for some air. I wished we saw more of them, but still worthy place to stop by.

Stopped by during the week and we couldnt find any of the gators. But it was still a nice place to visit and stretch your legs after a long car ride.

Very simple and free attraction. Good place to stop passing through. See alligators while you stand in shade. Also 100 feet from sand beach and concrete walking trails.

Hiostirc statues and memorabilia for American wars. Little alligator viewing pen. Not a ton going on but cool for what it is.

Didn’t get to see any alligators, but the landscape and overall view of the lake was so serene, peaceful, and beautiful. My wife and I ended up sitting on a bench by the water and just enjoyed the sunset. It was truly wonderful.

We love to visit this place but since the colder weather hit it seems as though they dont like to maintain the walk way. It was cover we couldnt even see under all the leaves and junk.

Its filthy. The residents dont respect the space to the point a tourist cannot enjoy the area.

After 330 miles of driving a 40+15 motorhome with pickup towed this was the perfect place to end up. Beautiful view. Went over & checked out the very small alligators & turtles.
