This park is wonderful, the area itself is beautiful. The water is usually shallow enough for my 8 year old and he can walk against the current. It can get pretty crowded over the weekends but there is a ton of beach space.Bathrooms are basically like PortaPotties without doors, so change before you go.

Nice place. It gets pretty crowded around noon, but so does every other access point. Big sandbar for families to spread out. Pretty decent fishing, saw a 2ish carp, which was much larger than all of the other fish.

Love this place..Life jackets for people and kids that dont know how to swim.

This is a small modest park along the Wildcat creek...really more river sized than a creek. It has some picnic tables and a restroom building. It has access to the water and some hiking trails. There is plenty of parking.

We got rained out trying to Kayak, but we will definitely be coming back. Easy access to water.

Beautiful, serene views with access to the Wildcat Creek - Lafayettes local beach. When conditions are good (and always check Creek safety levels!) its a great place for a fun, family afternoon. Picnic, hike, play Frisbee, swim, or simply sit and enjoy the birds and butterflies. One of our familys all-time favorite locations!

Ive gone many many times and weve always loved it. Went today and there is no where to park. I mean people all the way up to the main entrance. They need to expand parking or have a capacity number or something. Of course we left because we couldnt park anywhere. Kids were upset.

The place needs a guard on duty to keep it clean and keep visitors out of trouble. Sadly anyone just does anything they want there. There was a fight and no one was there to interfere and stop it. Like animals, sadly we can stay there only if we fight our way through others.

I still enjoy the wildcat. As of today there are lots of sticks everywhere and the water levels are high.

There is access to the Wildcat Creek, which has substantial current. Great spot to launch a kayak.

Fun little beach! A hidden gem. Usually not too busy and fun to play or relax there.

It was fun, all the visitors are nice, and to the beach is clean. Great for the kids, keep an eye on them still, definitely family friendly.

Great place for free entertainment. I just wish they took more care of the grounds here. The weeds were taller than me!

Its a nice little park. The hike is easy to the creek unless you have mobility problems. Id wear shoes and lots of sunblock if your going to play in the creek as there is zero shade in the best area to wade and swim.

The park is beautiful l. However, the trek to the creek is tough, with overgrown trails that can be hard to follow.

A decent place to have a cookout with family. The creek is of good size, not sure how good it is for fishing but have seen people fishing for sure. Its a small park by the way.

Love coming down to the creek! Not overcrowded. Its free! And the water isnt bad either! Nice shaded area for a cookout with the family! Bring your own toilet paper though! The bathroom is an old outhouse!

Great place to hike and spend time by the water. Lots of beach space even though its very rocky still nice quiet area. Lots to explore, Potter potty lots of parking, tons of shade!

The beach was completely gone, feel like the up keep Should be better. Everything was over grown.

My son and I used to have a great time there. Sometimes its way way too busy for our liking now that well walk down to see how respectful others are being to determine whether we stay or not.

MY MOTHER & I DISCOVERED THIS PLACE BY ACCIDENT ON ONE OF OUR SUNDAY AFTERNOON DRIVES. WE CALLED IT OUR SECRET PLACE. IT WAS JUST A SHORT TIME AFTER THAT THE WOODEN DECK WAS INSTALLED. MY MOTHER PASSED AWAY 11 YEARS AGO. WHEN I WANT TO CLEAR MY HEAD & LET THE WORLD JUST MAKE NOISE ELSEWHERE; I COME HERE. ITS AS CLOSE AS I CAN BE TO BEING NEAR HER. EITHER IN THE EARLY SPRING OR LATE FALL; AS TIME PASSES THIS SMALL PLACE OUT OF THE WAY; HELPS ME WITH MY GRIEF. I AM VERY GRATEFUL THAT IT EXISTS. INDIANA IS A BEAUTIFUL PLACE TO LIVE WHEN THERE ARE SMALL SPACES IN BETWEEN TO JUST COLLECT MY THOUGHTS & APPRECIATE NATURE IN ALL ITS GLORY.

Very nice for floating down the river. Lots of space to mess with kayaks/Canoes, inflate intertubes and wait around while shuttling vehicles. Nice beach they keep clean.

Its pretty nice. Usually crowded and dont drink alcohol there. Always cops there. If your tryi g to party go elsewhere.

I love taking walks down by the water to help get back in tune with nature.

Small park. Very few hiking trails but a nice pebble beach to play on.

Used to be great, but now it is overrun with alcohol on the weekends, and lacks any enforcement of the rules. Not a good place to take children.

We went there on December. A bit cold. No one else but our family. Nice to be in a quiet place with a few bold eagles flying around. First time to see geese scared of human presence. Nice short trip during covid-19.
