Too crowded! No social distancing! No thanks. Vendors were great, but the city needs to do a much better job spreading out the vendors and controlling the crowd. Makes no sense. Festivals are canceled, but this is allowed to go on. Whos ever in charge shouldnt be.

I am so thrilled to see the transformation of this beautiful property. The farmers market on Saturday is amazing. There is a Cajun music jam in the morning, lots of vendors, and plenty of shade. I love to go for breakfast/lunch and a cup of coffee or juice. My Saturday isnt complete without the market!

Absolutely beautiful new city park development. Nice walking, benches, ponds, seperate fenced in dog park, lots of parking and wonderful farmers market on Saturdays with Cajun jam session of local musicians.

Enjoyed my time with my daughter in law, granddaughter & sister there.

Always makes me proud of our culture and community when I am at Moncus Park.

Moncus park is pretty nice. It has a dog park, a lake and a running path

Lafayettes old UL Horse Farm is currently being developed into a world class park. Phase one should be open in about a year. The completed park will featured 100 acres of rolling hills, live oak trees, jogging & bicycle paths, concert stage, pavilions, botanical gardens, childrens area, large lake, fishing, wharf, meditation area, veterans memorial, dog park, green lawns, farmers market, extensive landscaping, and more.

We love visiting the farmers market when we can make it on Saturday. The rest of the park is under construction. Hopefully they will finish soon. Is going to be amazing for Lafayette.

The Civic engagement that brought this park into being is inspiring. Thank you to those founding mothers (EB and Danica etc.) We cant wait to see the results of phase one, the new trails and trees.

Got a ride from a very nice gentleman on a mule to have a look at the park, it is coming up beautifully cant wait till its finished to enjoy the beautiful park!

Closed for construction, looked nice from the other side of the fence though...

I love the trees here, perfect to picnic under or set up some hammocks. Also love that there are some trails to explore. It also backs up right to Reds gym which is great if you work out there regularly. I cant wait to see what it will look like with all the plans they have for it.

Went to Hunts perfect roast and purchase some coffee boy is it fresh and delicious they roast their coffee daily best roaster in Lafayette that we found so far

Great place to spend a Saturday with the wife just strolling around looking at the market.

The market on Saturdays from 8 - 12 is lots of fun. Great place to go for unique gifts, art, awesome barbeque sauce, bacon, and ethnic foods! Bring your dog and listen to some live cajun jam. See the progress on the huge future park which is going to be epic.

The horse farm is a treasure of lafayette. The farmers market on Saturday is the best in the city and the well kept open spaces are the ideal picnic spot for a chill weekday with friends. Dog friendly is a plus.

Awesome public green space! My favorite for dog walks, romantic picnics, and tree climbing adventures!

Farmers market was amazing as always but sad to see everything else fenced off, I had been hoping to walk the trails. Mostly, Im really disappointed to see that they leveled trees in a section.

Bring the kids. Have a picnic. Bring the dog. Lay in a hammock. Explore the beauty of these historic grounds.
