Its pretty, due to it being in the middle of a swamp, I would pick my time to visit based on river levels. High water its a beautiful place, low water it stinks like youd expect a swamp to smell.

Nice quiet location. Nice sized park and there is a shelter to rent for parties, tennis court, basketball hoops and a walking trail. Bathrooms werent open during other day when we went. Nice park only downfall is you get a few people there that kind of creep you out sometimes and watch you or the groups that meet up to smoke ganja but other than that its a nice park!

Beautiful area great for your kids

This is my favorite park in la crosse. You can even hike a trail down into the marsh.

I used to bring my kids here all the time. It looks nice still but there are tell tale signs of drug use. I saw a little make up bag, a cell phone and a tourniquet sitting on a table. A young couple coming up out of the bushes... kinda weird. Also saw a few hikers

Great spot to rent out for an event like birthday or wedding. Then at night I hear its a good place to drop off overdose victumes. it has it all!

Nice park. Feels kinda lonely, but there are a LOT of birds in the vicinity, playground, shelter to rent, paved trail....

People say this park is haunted. Ive heard many stories and have had Experinced some weird stuff.
