Mt La Crosse is a great place to enjoy a friendly atmosphere and some great slopes! They have awesome customer service and the bar is a very rustic and unique place to enjoy a few drinks. I would highly recommend Mt La Crosse!

Great Midwestern ski area with a surprising number of runs packed into an almost bowl shaped hill. The lodge, bar and ski shop all have a vintage Nordic feel to them and the entire ski area has a Vermont-like vibe to it. Lift was $56 for the full day; neither cheap nor unreasonable. Overall, nice people here and a fun place to make some turns.

Mt. La Crosse so so much fun. Great people and slopes for people of all abilities. Plenty of food and drink options in the chalet and adult beverages and live entertainment in the St. Bernard room. Decent ski shop too.

I forgot how much fun skiing is! I used to go often in the 90s, but got away from it for a number of reasons. My 16 year old daughter asked me to take her, and teach her how to ski. Wow! First its like riding a bike. Discovering I still know how was a total treat. Second, and even better, my daughter picked up on it quickly and had as much fun as I did. Best of all is to be able to share the experience with a loved one. That I did NOT have in the old days. ️️Thanks to the owners for keeping this place alive, and not just alive but nostalgically the same in appearance, yet bigger and better.I am looking forward to coming back!

My wife and I came to shop and buy ski boots. I met Henry and the owner of Mount Lacrosse who introduced me to Rafe of the Pro Shop was beyond knowledgeable but shared his knowledge in a way that I as a first time boot buyer needed. Not only on whether the boots fit but I had the right for performance. We decided to get the whole kit. Skis, helmet and poles. All of the other folks working were great to make sure we were helped out. Picking out new boots and skis takes a lot of time and were waited on and treated very well in the bar before and after our shopping.Cant wait to hit the slopes with my first time new skis and Boots.

Great ski area near the Mississippi river in western Wisconsin. Has an ald world, family run feel with warm inviting people, great terrain and snow. Reasonable prices. The town is nearby, and has lots of variety of lodging, food and nightlife.

Bridget was extremely rude and created an awful experience for us tonight. She went out of her way her to yell at is as paying guests and would not give us an opportunity to speak or say anything. After creating a scene she then proceeded to talk to another employee about us right at the counter. We were outside the ticket window and could see the whole thing. She only stopped when the other employee pointed out that we could still see her.

First time here. Nice chalet and Lodge. Lifts are a bit slow and limited amount of the runs were open today despite several inches of snow the past week. That said, the $27 lift ticket social was a welcome change from the every increasing prices most other places.

Awesome location, almost unchanged from when I used to ski as a kid. Rental staff is great, but those lift guys are rude and impatient. I felt really bad for a few parents and younger kids who had problems. They probably ruined what could have been great memories and instead of helping, just yelled at a dad and his 5 year old. This same kid just played the guitar when he was on top of applebottom lift. - it was quite obvious he didnt want to be there and let everyone know about it. Went the past weekend and they had pretty much half of the course off limits for some race. Paid close to $500 for 5 hours of skiing on PART on the hill. Very expensive and 90% of the staff are awful.

I have a few questions... is there a part where I can bring my 5 year old son sledding? Hes too young to skee or snowboard. But I would love to bring him for the experience. Hes never been sledding and it would be a good way to introduce him to skeeing or snowboarding.

Great place but so far (December 4th,2017) not only is there no snow but temps in the 50s. How about a water slide? hope the weather turns soon and the snow falls or it at least gets consistently cold enough for snow making. Climate change sucks.

Went to the family skiing night today and took the free lessons on offer. The instructor was very patient with us (we have kids aged 6 and 10) and we had a good time (though with the usual aches and pains that come with skiing :-D ). We took the ski rental - the equipment was all good. We didnt eat/drink anything at the restaurant, so not sure how that part of the area rates. Planning to head back next week if weather cooperates :)

I love the staff at the pro shop. I just had excellend service by Josh B and Brandon were they went above and beyond getting me what I need! They have an excellent selection of not only snowboarding and ski gear, but they also have winter gear. They carry lines from Decedents to Helly Hansen. I then went to the ticket counter and was greated with a friendly service by Bridget, Tracy and Tay. They were not only knowledgeable about the hill, but about the surrounding area as well. Keep up the great work Mt La Crosse!

Mt. La Crosse is great. Lots of slope variety. Competitive price. The claim that lift tickets are as high as Colorado... laughable. Search for yourself; heres what I found for single-day lift tickets: Aspen $129, Vail $145, Breckenridge $145. I learned to ski there over 50 years ago. My dad still skis it. Hope it stays around for another 50.

I have been skiing at Mt. La Crosse for years. I love the people that work there, when they recognize you they treat you like an old friend! I have enjoyed seeing the change in dynamic of the park over the years; the addition of the new rails and second rail park has been nice to see. Prices can be spendy, but not any more expensive than any other of the hills in the area.

Horrible. It even hosts the state ski meet so I dont know why it wouldnt make much to keep the place up and not have the chair lifts shut down all the time. Not a user friendly place. Its expensive too. Lift tickets are like what you would pay for a full ski hill in Colorado. Its a waste of time and money.
