There is so much to do for children of all ages, and adults that are kids at heart ;) There are free activities daily, summer camps for kids, programming for every interest. Big things come in small packages in this museum. There is a dinosaur maze exhibit, a 3 story climbing tower, a river, a crane to build a bridge, train and bridge exhibit, a plane flying simulator, and thats just the first floor! The main floor features a real antique fire truck plus costumes for kids to explore, an electronic floor game to play soccer, sort recycling, pop bubbles, and more. Experiment with moving air in a wall pipe maze with scarves, a pin impression display, colored lights, xylophone, fun house mirrors. On the too floor, climb a tree house, play with blocks made from naturally finished tree pieces, control the weather, gas up and get groceries at a huge Kwik Trip exhibit, play at a bank, give the forecast and newscast in the news studio, build a fort with huge foam building pieces, a massive barn for littles, a giant light bright, a shadow room, a piano, and tons more. The museum is wheelchair-friendly, which is excellent. My 3 year old son had an accident. The front desk has clothes and underwear for boys and girls of different sizes donated by a charity to cover parents in case of such accidents ;) Plan to spend around 3 hours at the museum. Week days are least busy. The fun programs happen in the morning.

This place is just great! Plenty of interesting and interactive activities to go around... Can be a bit crazy during busy hours however...Edit: Bonus for the owner informing me of school groups and how to check for them. Kudos!

The childrens museum is a fun place for kids and adults of all ages to really enjoy in all sensory experience. It is a warm inviting place with tons of fun activities. It as an interactive dance pad, mock versions of a river, a fire truck and a convenience store that you can play in and tons of fun daily activities.I have a 6 person membership which is a great deal for how often I go there.

I cannot say enough about this childrens museum it was so awesome I went thinking like most of the childrens museums wed be there for a couple hours and the children would either be tired of it or the crowds like at the childrens museum in Illinois the Kohls museum are always so bad that the kids get tired of it cuz they have to wait in line for everything neither was the case we had to drag them out for lunch and come back and finish their day it was so much fun a three-story tall leaf structure thats netted so they cant fall off my grandbabies 2 and 4 kind all the way to the top of it and back down again they played so hard we had to drag them out for lunch time promising to come straight back and they were asleep before I was on the ice State taking them home that evening it was the most wonderful trip in the world for them the perfect size big enough to have everything but small enough youre not worried about losing them and its not so crowded that they have to wait in line and wait to do everything perfect place for the children

My kids absolutely love this place, the staff was great, and we would go here every time if we lived closer!. I hope management reads this becomes if they ever wanted to open one in my town, it would be great. My town needs something like this place. I have the perfect spot and themes if you ever would like to expand on down to Mayville!

Fun place for younger children. So much for them to do. There are many play areas, a Kwik Trip with store and gas plump, a pizza shop, a bank, a television station. There is a maze to go through that talks about dinosaurs. A mock river with water that you can change and play with boats. Teens would mostly find this place boring. Some tweens would enjoyand others wouldnt. I feel the cost is a little high.

Such a beautiful place to explore with your children!Lovely inside set-up that has 3 floors. My friend treated me and her son and my children to a hour of fun at this place.All the children enjoyed it and it was the perfect place to chill at during the heat of the day while entertaining the young ones.It DOES COST you though. But if your children arent sleepy or hungry, its worth the cost.

Friendly staff and great facility! Better than some childrens museums weve been to in larger cities. Three levels of play areas with restrooms on every level and everything is kept clean.

This was a great Saturday morning stop for both my 9 year old and 2 year old. It is affordable has creative and fun displays as well as some great in museum programs staffed by great volunteers.

By far the nicest childrens museum that I have been to that is not in a major metropolitan area. I would highly recommend it to anyone. The three levels of interactional items for the children are great.

We get season passes every year. Its almost a Sunday after church tradition. Love this place always changing and getting better.

Its pretty good, 3 floors. My kids love the climbing on the shells, water exhibit, shadow room, and the tubes. They change the exhibits around often enough to keep it interesting.

Good place to take your little ones for few hours. Its very clean and people there is very nice and helpful.

We are having a blast! Very hands on and you need 2 plus hours of time to spend here. We came at 9:30 a.m. and we left for lunch and we got a stamp to return for free. Came back for the afternoon! It is worth every penny!

Ive always loved the Childrens Museum I have been taking my children there for the last 15 years and they always have something new to offer the kids that is interesting and makes them think great place for such a small town with nothing to do especially for the kids not just me!

Lots of space for the kiddos to run around. Educational exhibits are well done, and even a Kwik Trip!

Our family loves this museum. We try to hit it about once a month and always attend the special events. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The toddlers enjoy the interactive stations which provide fun and learning. It would be nice if some of the play areas changed frequently but considering the cost its well worth the entry fee.

Clean, friendly staff, always a fun time. There were lots of new things in there that was able to interest my child. They do have an elevator for anyone with disabilities, easy entrance for all ages/physical needs, decent prices, lots of events during the year and many age appropriate sections for all kids. The floors are divided out nicely and the bathrooms are surprisingly clean for a KIDS museum...all mothers know what I mean when you have kids, your bathroom is usually a mess from kids lol.

There is plenty to do for younger children here. We brought our three year old and we had to drag him out kicking and screaming because he was having such a good time. Limited parking outside but thats pretty standard for a downtown business.

Great place for tge little ones. They were able to explore in all 3 levels. Place is very well maintained. From the water exhibit to the dinosaur maze our kids really enjoyed it. They have a neat little shopping area and some others fun hands on areas. Bathrooms on all levels with easy access as well.

If I lived in La Crosse, I would have a membership here in a heartbeat! Theres a lot of fun for both kids and adults and the membership fees are extremely reasonable. With three full floors of activities ranging from a dinosaur maze to a netted tower that both adults and kids can climb up into, I completely recommend this place for parents to come and have some fun with their kids!

Amazingly fun! My 5 year old grandson had SUCH a good time. Everything in the place was hands on. I dont know that he learned a whole lot at his age and his wondering attention but he definitely had a good time and I am sure he learned some stuff without even trying. And! Although they had a gift shop, it wasnt in a place that required visiting. I may visit that some time without him but it was a relief not to have our day ruined because I wasnt in a position to buy him something at the time. I highly recommend a visit to anyone looking for something to do in the area on a rainy day.

We are members here and love every minute. The dinosaur maze is my 3 year olds favorite. I like that they are often bringing in temporary exhibits that are always interesting.

Very clean and nice, 3 floors of fun for all. The lady, MAL, and others were very helpful today. 1 child + 1 adult = $15. We could only stay 1 hr. Still fun.

Fun for all ages! Took my 1.5 year old here and he was entertained for hours. He cried when we were leaving. Our friends 10 year old was just as entertained for the same amount of time. There is lots to do with fun educational material. We will visit again.

Always a fun time but parking sucks. Cant ge helped with its location but so worth driving around to find parking. You wont be disappointed when you get inside. So much fun and lots to see and do with your kids

This place is huge and has a ton of stuff. That being said the kids love going there but theres not much for them to actually do. They mostly run back and fourth between things more excited to be there than actually being excited for what they are doing. I think they have just as good of a time if not better running in circles at kids coulee.

Nice place to take your kids, wish there were a bit more exciting updates things for the kids to do though.. the price to get in is kind of outrageous for how many families probably cannt afford that to get in and do something with there kids. Staff seem friendly and the one thing I liked alot was their is a toddler section, not that any kids or parents actually follow the directions mytoddlers and baby have gotten stumbled on and pushed by big kids alot in there. Nice place to check out though if your bored

Super fun childrens museum. They took museum reciprocity so we got in for free because we had a membership somewhere else.The kids (4 under 10) all had a great time. Word of advice, go early if you are going on the weekend as it gets packed fast and the energy level gets a little cray.There is a ton to do and I even got caught up in some of the crafts. We will definitely go again if we are ever in the area.

My son LOVES this place. There is so much for kids to do there and also teaches them which is 2 for the price of 1.

My 3 year old daughter LOVES Childrens Museum and I am excited they are so HELPFUL and they have so many different things for autistic children and they told me what good times are best for when to bring my daughter so she doesnt get overloaded

Great place for a wide age range of kids, and an annual membership is very affordable. The new climber is nice although geared towards younger kids than the old climbing wall was. Just wish it opened at 9am instead of 10am.
