We are HUGE fans of the office and when we saw they had a room that was inspired by the show we just had to play it! It did not disappoint!!! We were laughing the entire way through and had such an amazing time solving the puzzles to save the party! It was done perfectly to we got all of the references as fans, but our friend who just started the series wasn’t lost. They still enjoyed all the jokes along the way. Thank you so much for an unforgettable time!! We will be back!! Amazing staff, amazing time, and amazing experience! Love love love!!

After being somewhat of an escape room fanatic my friend encouraged me to join him for this location. It blew my expectations away the seventh room which we competed had a quality story line for people to be engaged with. As well as the puzzle volume/variety was enough to keep you engaged for the full time. None of this 4 number key lock standard repetition you tend to see. Would highly recommend trying it out if its your first or hundredth escape room youll enjoy it abs be challenged. Not to mention in this specific room, scared!

LOVED this place!!! We found this place after eating next door and we had such an amazing time! Everyone that works here is friendly, nice, outgoing, and made sure we were all comfortable and having a great time. We felt very safe in the facility. It was clean and they explained to us their safety measures. They have a machine that fogs the entire room and sanitize them between guests. They were constantly wiping down areas in the lobby and had hand sanitizer for us. The game itself was amazing! We played the video store and it was so well decorated we really felt like we were shopping for a video on a Friday night. We we really enjoyed the puzzles and we DID escape!! So much fun!!! Highly highly recommend!! We’ll definitely be back on our next vacation. Thank you to Garrett our game master

It was my girlfriends first time playing an escape game with me and we both had a great time. Since it was her first time and it was just the two of us, my homegirl Emily recommended The Paper Company for us, and it was perfect.Hunter brought us into the room and helped us get an understanding of what we were doing and Krystal and Trinity helped us with the many clues that we needed. I definitely recommend anyone to check out The Paper Company and all of the other games they have at Dare 2 Escape! I’ll definitely be back.

We will definitely be talking about this experience for a while!!!! Check it out if you’re looking for a fun spooky time!

From the many escape rooms Ive done, I have to say Dare 2 Escape is one of the top. We started with The Ringmaster (which was AMAZING) and loved it so much we did The Asylum immediately after. The stories, the details, and the customer service were all amazing. For anyone who is looking to do an escape room, Dare 2 Escape is one you wont regret!**UPDATECame back to Dare2Escape to do The Dig and finally do The Archive (you dont have to do the other 3 before completing Archive, its just recommended) and have to say this place still remains one of my favorites. Being able to tie the stories together adds to the experience. The way the rooms are designed and how well the stories flow together is simply incredible. They have really nailed the concept of an escape room and how to make it enjoyable and memorable. Cant wait to come back to do the new room opening soon!

One of the best escape rooms weve been to and weve been to over 50 different ones all over the U.S. We did The Ringmaster and The Seventh Room. Both were awesome and challenging. We escaped both. The ring master room was sadly uninspired. Just locks (if they even opened with the correct solution). Claimed as non linear and blamed the poor game design on the size of our party. I’ve done over 50 escape rooms and this was easily my least favorite. Just a disappointment as the staff was friendly and the storefront was well decorated.

The staff is genuinely interested in making sure you have a good time. The entire thing was fun from start to finish. The place was very clean, and they have impressive sanitizing systems. I felt very safe there. Matt was so great! Even though we had to ask for a bunch of hints, we were laughing the entire time. I highly recommend this place, you wont be disappointed. Dare 2 Escape offers a fantastic escape room experience with unique and interesting themes. Weve done over 140 rooms and had a hard time deciding on which themes to try. We opted for the less cliche options of ringmaster and video store and werent disappointed. The originality and ability to use the theme to inspire the puzzles created an unforgettable experience. We walked in on a weekday and they were able to accommodate private rooms for us, though rooms are in general public meaning you could be playing with other random people. One of my favorite things here is that we saw the game masters let some other escapees finish their experiences (if they were somewhat close) and run over the 60 minutes to get the full experience of doing all the puzzles and feeling the thrill of escaping. The decor was slightly above average but super unique. The puzzles ranged from easy to moderately difficult and test observation and puzzle skills. The game play was non linear (solving one puzzle doesnt necessarily lead you to the next puzzle) which can be challenging for newbies, but the staff is friendly and helpful. Its hard to pick a favorite here because both were so well implemented and fun. Depending on what theme calls to you there is a range from creepy to funny that should satisfy any group. Cant wait until our travels bring us back to Florida to do more rooms here.

TLDR: Do not miss this room, it is a treasure filled with some haunts and thoughtful puzzles that make everything feel like it belongs. Maybe wait another couple of weeks for the new game to work out the jitters**.**Game did not break on us, but we realized how extensive this room is, especially with the tech and how resetting it can take a little while. With that knowledge, my party understood the longer reset time in the beginning. Our group was a little mashed together as our mutual friend asked us all to.go try out the Seventh Room. With this being their brand new room having only been open a couple of weeks (maybe only 1) we knew there would be some kinks to work out. The staff was wonderful, allowing us to come what seemed like after their business hours, finding out they extended their hours for this room in particular. They then informed us that it would be a little while longer before we are able to play, as a group before us had just escaped right at our start time - like I said, we expected some delays as it is a brand new game and there are always hiccups. The staff was considerate in communicating, apologizing that they were running behind, would talk to us about the room/experiences we would have. They made sure our questions were answered and that we had water and we were allowed to relax while the room was set up. We also found out one of our party members (of her decision) wouldnt be playing the room, and the employees allowed her to watch the whole experience in the control room to make sure she felt included! And then walked her through the room afterwards. Wonderful customer service. The room itself is transports you to what truly feels like the inner workings of a house. We needed some nudging for some clues, but once the GameMaster explained it (a couple of times because sometimes it takes a second for realization), we understood it. The whole room itself i wouldnt say is scary, but there are definitely some instances that made me scream and a few others feel panicked. Just an FYI- the game did NOT break down on us, but we realized this has a few working parts that do need a little more time to reset if they are being tricky, which is why we were fine with the reset time in the beginning. There is so much in this room Im surprised they can keep it together!!I highly recommend this room to anyone who has a great team that communicates well together, at least 2 individuals who dont mind the dark and tight spaces. Room *can* be done with 2 people, but I would recommend at least 3. Maybe wait another couple of weeks for the game to be tweaked a little more, but do not miss this. Well worth the visit and the price? Worth it.

We are truly escape room junkies who love every aspect of the experience and the rooms. Our experience at Dare2 Escape was a positive one. The staff there was great, very friendly and helpful. They spent time chatting with us and talking about the new rooms that are coming,We did 2 rooms the night we went. The first was Paper Company - I am a huge Office junkie so getting to emerge myself in the Paper Company room was awesome. I was the only one in the group of 4 of us that watched the show, but the clues and puzzles weren’t set up that you had to have knowledge of the show to enjoy. That was just an extra bonus for me to see all the detail and effort put in to make true fans love it. The second room was Asylum. Now my reviews for that room are not as high. I thought some of the puzzles were unique, and I appreciated that. But the scare factor they used were a little lame. Those of you who have made it to the third room know what I am referencing. After going home and thinking about this room I had reworked in my head a few different ways it could have packed a bigger scare/spooky/creepy factor. But don’t get me wrong we will differently be back to try all the other rooms. Excited to do so soon!

Dont expect high-tech wizardry from the games thats prone to break down like at other places. Expect to put on your thinking caps to get yourself out.Comfortable seating area with lots of space. Weve even had enough room to cater in a Christmas party.Easy to get to and ample parking. Friendly staff thats there to help.At the time of this review they are undergoing expansion into a larger space for more rooms so theres some work going on in some of the areas and the bathroom.Keep up the good work !

We were staying at nearby location and happened upon this place. We ended up playing their Paper Company room, and if you are a fan of the office you should definitely check this game out!! We were laughing and smiling the whole time. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful and made the experience that much better. You can tell they all have a passion for escape rooms and seem to enjoy what they do. We then played their Asylum room and all I can say is Wow! My team of two played and beat Ringmaster and had a great time. We were surprised more than once about some features in the room. There were some fun puzzles and at least one interaction with an object Ive not come across in all then other escape games that Ive done. The room isnt quite as polished as other rooms in the greater Orlando area, but it did have a good mix of tech-driven puzzles compared to traditional locks. The company has a definite Halloween theme going and every room is a vignette in the story of a creepy family. They pull the theme together well and theres a fun Halloween-y vibe around the whole place.

I really enjoyed Dare 2 Escape! Played all five rooms over the course of a month and had fun in every single one of them. My personal favorite was Ringmaster, such a fun time in that game, but they are all so great! The employees here are some of the best escape room workers I have ever come across, they were all so nice and helpful. Our game masters over the couple times we played were Charlotte, Danielle and Tristan. Very helpful and were so fun to talk to before and after the games. I really can’t wait to come back and play Paper Company and the new horror game when they open. I also really enjoy that they really strive on making it feel like a year round halloween place and that they work with Halloween Horror Nights to have some of the props from the event in their lobby, super cool!! Thank you Dare 2 Escape for a great time and we will be back soon to conquer the others!

Our group (who have done at least 30 rooms each) started with the Ringmaster on Sunday....we enjoyed it so much we came back on Saturday of the same week to do the Dig.... couldnt stop there and then immediately did the Video Store right after! We thoroughly enjoyed each of the rooms with the Video Store being our favorite. The attention to detail in the decor of the rooms were absolutely on point and the puzzles ran smoothly and were all thoughtful. My friends and I LOVE doing escape rooms. When we saw that there was this one close by where we were in Orlando, we decided to book one as we like the whole scary theme. We did asylum first and it was SO much fun. The room was so detailed and well thought out. After finishing we decided we HAD to come back the next day, so we did and we did The Ringmaster. What ANOTHER incredibly detailed room. It was so much fun! The best part of it all, is the rooms are all part of a story line, so each room tells you a different part of the story. After escaping and having so much fun with the ringmaster, we booked another room for the hour after. They also give you a discount if you do multiple rooms the same day. We went to the next room of the series The Dig. Let me tell you, when you walk in, you do NOT expect everything you are going to get when youre trying to escape this room. If we didnt have to drive back down to Miami we would have 100% done the Archive as well, but thankfully we go up to Orlando a lot so I cant wait to continue the story, and they have a couple of new ones opening up soon. oh and Danielle was AMAZING. Seriously, she made all the rooms so much fun and she was as excited about telling the story line as we were to hear it. The whole staff was amazing.

I have never before written a business review in my life, but we had such a good time at Dare 2 Escape for my wife’s birthday that I am breaking this streak to praise them. We played The Ringmaster game there several months ago and had a great time, so my wife began to follow them on Facebook. Being the giant fan of both escape rooms and The Office that she is, she about lost her mind when she learned that they were going to debut The Paper Company- an Office-themed escape room. The room was scheduled to open right around the time of her birthday, and I wanted to surprise her and take her and her friends. Unfortunately, Dare 2 Escape hit a small construction setback that didn’t allow its opening to coincide with her birthday. Instead, they told me to bring her to play a different room, The Video Store, and for doing so, we would be called upon to be beta testers for The Paper Company before it even opened to the public! This sweet gesture excited her even more knowing that she’d be one of the very first people to try it, and it would extend her birthday celebration to a month. So we went and beta tested The Paper Company this past weekend. Like I said, we are avid escape room enthusiasts, having done them all over Orlando (our team name is The Planet of the escApes), and I can tell you with all sincerity that I had more fun playing this escape room than any I have played before it. If you’re not an office fan, the puzzles are still absolutely brilliant, and there were clever tricks that I had not seen in any room I had done prior. And if you are an Office fan, then you’re going to lose your mind because the tribute to the show is both unbelievably authentic and they tied to the overall room theme and individual puzzles in incredibly clever ways. But here’s where Dare 2 Escape takes things to a level beyond any other escape room in Orlando- the room is based on the Office episode in which Jim and Dwight are responsible for throwing Kelly a birthday party, and your goal in the room is to find the party supplies that were hidden away by an office prankster. Because were celebrating my wife’s birthday, the cake that we uncovered was a REAL cake with her name iced onto it, and after completing the escape room (with just 2 minutes to spare!), we got to sit in the room and enjoy her cake and feel like cast members on the show! If you want to really surprise someone in a special way on their birthday, I cannot recommend enough sneaking a cake and other party supplies to the staff at Dare 2 Escape to hide in your room to make your birthday guest’s day extra special, because it was for my wife! Thank you, Dare 2 Escape! We can’t wait to come back and play the other half of the games there that we haven’t yet played!

Our day at universal did not start out the best because bad weather ended closing down some of the rides we were most excited about at the park. We left and did the escape room at noon and after we felt like our whole day had turned around. Such a fun game and such a neat place. Our game master Matt was so nice, funny and excited. You could tell he really enjoyed and cared about his job. The room was really cool too with lots of great effects and creepy circus themed things to do. The best part about this room was that the puzzles were interesting and captivating and not totally obvious however they were completely do able and made sense. We will definitely be back to play their other rooms and are excited for the new rooms they are working on right now.

Ive done over 150 escape rooms around the US and during break times from Disney, a friend and I decided to check out some of Dare 2 Escapes rooms. While the rooms werent earth shattering compared to other games weve played, they were solid and definitely worth checking out.Ringmaster (3/5):The weakest of the Dare 2 Escape games I played, mainly due to the lack of interesting set design and puzzles from an enthusiast perspective. This was a Gen 1 room with a bunch of combination locks, but everything in the room was well-themed and there was a fun moment that I cant say much about without spoiling. The puzzles were decent but generally pretty straightforward, with nothing particularly novel when compared to many other rooms. There wasnt a lot of story and the set was standard except for one sequence in the game. A solid game overall, but less interesting than Video Store and Archive. [Completed as a pair of enthusiasts with 16:28 left and one or two hints.]The Archive (4/5):When I first walked into the game, I immediately noticed that they got the sewer geocaching vibe right in just the set design. The puzzles built off of this, where our tasks and even light sources fit along with the theme. After getting through the sewer, subsequent rooms in this game had a very distinct flavor, and this diversity and progression is something I really appreciate in escape room sets. There were also some really nice set pieces used for the puzzles in this game. The puzzles were more challenging than average, which I appreciated as an enthusiast. However, I had some issues with the game flow, where parts of the game were linear despite appearing to be nonlinear and then requiring puzzle elements from whats seemingly a completely unrelated task. Some people might think that this adds to the challenge and fun though. Another minor complaint is that a couple of the puzzles can feel tedious and may have been more enjoyable with two or so fewer steps.Archive is the fourth installment in a series of rooms (starting with Asylum, Ringmaster, and Dig) and makes references to them and ties the story together, though playing the previous rooms is not necessary to enjoy this game. Other than the references, story elements arent strongly present throughout the course of the game. Overall, the set design and the above average difficulty push the rating of this room up from a 3 (average room) to a 4. [Completed as a pair of enthusiasts with 3 minutes left and a couple hints.]Video Store (4/5):A fun set that brings us back to the days before streaming. Dare 2 Escape did a great job with both the interior and exterior of the video store. Somehow the puzzles didnt sync very well with us, as it felt particularly difficult to figure out the correct path forward in this game compared to others Ive played. I think some of this was a higher than average level of obscurity in the connections between objects and tasks, where wed often get items for puzzles that come much later in the game than wed expect. I dont think this is necessarily a flaw, but it did make the game more challenging than most. A couple puzzles were also a bit finicky, which I do think was a design flaw. However, I think the puzzles were more unique than most and fit well with the video store theme, which on its own is already a novel one. There wasnt a lot of story, but I think the challenging puzzles with good integration with theme bring the rating of this room up from a 3 (okay room) to a 4. [Played as a pair of enthusiasts and only got through around two-thirds of the room. This is quite unusual for us--we did not sync well with this room.]

Found this place while on vacation and it ended up being the highlight! My family and I played the Asylum and loved it so much we came back the next day and played their 90 minute room, The Archive. This was such fun family bonding time. We were all on such a rush after playing their games. I definitely would recommend checking them out if youre in the area. A definite must do!

I want to experience this form of entertainment. My son decided to book it right after we left Disneys Animal Kingdom. We were a bit nervous at first but when it was all over, we had a blast. The kids even enjoyed it. You have to find clues to go to the next phase in the game. Its a great activity to do as a family or team building activity with a group.

I loved this escape room. This is best escape room that I have been to. I have done all four rooms and my favorite room was the Archive. Each escape room has an overarching story and it culminates in the Archive, so I did the other 3 before the Archive. The Asylum was amazingly themed especially as a Halloween fan there were so many details. I meet the owner and he is such a wonderful person. They really treated me like family, I will be back when the new rooms open up! Das Sound Machine forever!!!

We had a great time! This was my familys first time doing an escape room together (2 adults and 3 kids, ages 14, 12, and 8). Even though we did not escape The Dig in time, we were so close to the end (just needed a few more minutes!) and really enjoyed our time together. The staff were super friendly and accommodating... 2 of us are hard-of-hearing so we asked for closed captions on the intro video. None were available, but they did print a copy of the script for us to read along with - very much appreciated! At one point we had trouble with the lock - our code was correct but the lock just wasnt opening. They paused the clock for us, said our code was right, and asked if we wanted help... all via the clue screen (very non-intrusive!). Eventually we had them come in to get it open and the clock/game resumed. The waiting area is kid-friendly too with an arcade game available to play for free and tastefully decorated with fun thematic decor. Would definitely return!

Doesnt work well with smaller groups, employees talked about us infront of us, not wheelchair accessible, a lot of the things you have to do you have to know how to do, but there is no way to know how the word fit on the tile board or the other 800 things you have to do. At 5 wits and other escape rooms there are instructions or hints to help you along, here you only get a few and they arent specific or helpful at all unless you already know what youre doing if you work there or have been before.

Escape rooms became a cliche way too quickly. I felt like the craze passed me by almost as soon as it began. But last Friday I found myself at Dare 2 Escape, completing the Egyptian-themed Dig room with 6 friends for a bachelor party. I thought the game would be both too difficult and cheezy. But I was wrong. Well-themed, well-designed, and extremely well-paced, we were all delighted with the combination of teamwork and creative thinking. And we got out with two minutes to spare! And I should also commend the staff. They were friendly and engaged without being creepy, and genuinely helpful during the game without letting us cheat. Escape rooms are a cool gig. Give em a try.

I love this place! A Jewel on 192! I have done Asylum, Ringmaster, and Archive. I look forward to doing the Dig in the near future. I love that this place spends so much time on the details in the room and the storyline. Their newest room Archive is a 90 minute journey and worth every penny! It is definitely my favorite by far. The staff is super friendly and share the same passion and excitement for the rooms and the storyline. I hope they add more rooms in the future! Cant wait to go back!

It always wonderful going to a location where the staff and the owners are very accommodating. I have done all the rooms at this location. Each room is unique and have a great atmosphere to the room. The first room I did at this location was The Ringmaster. It blew my mind it starts out pretty odd. As you proceed further in to the room it expands into a funny yet eerie feeling In to the room. The puzzles were so well put together and designed that I cant say Ive been to many locations like it. The game masters are very into it as well which makes it totally fun. The second room I did was the Dig. This room is by far the smallest of them all. However, by no means should it be take lightly. A slight suggestion dont wear sandals in there. I followed up on the same day to do the Asylum. Orlando offers two asylums one at Americas Escape Game and one here at Dare 2 escape. I must say by far, Dare 2 Escape has a much better room. Its really spooky and eerie and will make kind of have a jump feeling when least expected. I really enjoyed the design to the room. Its puzzles all fall right in place with each other and in a group of four. Everyone was doing something simultaneously. Moreover, I really would like to talk about the grand room. The archive is a large room and youre given 90 minutes to achieve a goal that everyone loves ESCAPE! This room threw me off a few times with its puzzles. In this particular room, I suggest going with at least a team of four. The puzzles are very challenging and quite difficult. It starts out quite simple. As you move on, you will notice this is not the case. I feel as if there are some things that can be tweaked a little bit in this room. However, overall Dare 2 Escape did not disappoint. It truly lives up to its name as the Best Escape Room in Central Florida. Shawn thank you for your hospitality. You truly have a phenomenal place. I cant wait for your next rooms to open.- Mike

My family and I were on holiday and were looking for something to do when we came across this place! All we can say is WOW!!!! This was such a fantastic experience. We played Archive and it looked like something you’d see in a theme park! Very well done! With every lock we opened we felt accomplished and had such a rush. The staff was very friendly, warm, and welcoming. Our guide helped us at the right times but did not intrude. Kids loved the puzzles and arcade machine in the lobby while waiting. We could’ve stayed there all day just talking!! We will definitely be coming back to try their other rooms when we are back in town. LOVE this place and forever a fan!

This place is what it is supposed to be like. Super friendly, super nice people to work with. The rooms are very well done. Challenging but still smooth play. I went to two other escape rooms today with my daughter, Lockbusters and The Escape Effect and they were rude, didnt want to help us or work with us to play a room, so we went to Dare 2 Escape and while they were still busy they worked with us to get us in to a room and wanted our business. Going to go back tomorrow and play another room just because of how wonderful these people were to work with plus the rooms are really fun. Go to this place!!!

This was by far the coolest and most well designed escape room I’ve ever done! Definitely a must on the Orlando area to-do list.
