Affordable pricing and informative lady at the ticket desk in the gift shop. Buildings are open to walk through. Was a great layout/recreation of a town and loved how they included the native people and the cowboys as well. The general store and post office was my favorite. Some of those houses it was crazy to realize that 12+ people lived in them! Definitely think this is a great stop and educational too! Loved it.

There is a public park around it, but there is a fee to enter Pioneer Village. The staff is very friendly and the place is well worth the fee. Its small but very well kept, very beautiful. You feel like in 1800s USA. Some of the house reminded me of my great grandmothers house and every house has information on its history. Some buildings are original others are replicas but equally interesting.

Very peaceful place. A lot of history in the real structures and replica. Is like going back to the 19th century. 10 acres of Osceola History. We enjoy it! I want to come back because they close at 4 pm, if you want to enjoy everything you need an hour at least.

Try 1 - September. Got to park and employees were locking up 2 hours early because “it looked like it was going to rain”. Turned away.Try 2 - Drove 45 minutes in Florida traffic (hours said park was open 10-4...) to experience the park. Showed up to a locked up building displaying an “open” sign. Called the historical society only to find out that their employee had simply “not shown up to work and that they apologize”.Take your chances with this place... It seems cool, but only if you can get inside!

On the approach it may seem a little underwhelming but after plunking down the $7 fee to go on the self guided tour it grew on me. There was plenty to see from the doorways and the careful recreated interiors using authentic artifacts from the past were enchanting. It was that step back in time we were looking for and it would be well worth returning on one of their reenactment days.

Was free when we went.Best part was about the native Americans. The rest was nothing to write home about, they were showing kids how they made food back then and the gentleman used a bottle of modern day crisco oil in front of the kids, at least put it in a non labeled bottle lol. Some of the people who worked there werent too friendly.
