Great place to eat lunch in a train car. Inside was very nice. The tasting room was very inviting. Tasted the rums, whiskys and vodka. Even brought some home!!

Great tour and information and tasting of the local home grown distillery. Agave rum is Amazing. Might have to make a special trip back in January for the 10yr aged products.

Stopped in at end of our day trip to the skywalk. The young woman who walked us thru our flights was great. Super friendly and knowledgeable. The owner John and his wife were there very sociable. Got to taste a few things they are still not bottled. If you like wine tasting this was very similar with a twist. Thank you for a memorable visit. Walked out with 3 bottles and one was signed by owner:)

Fantastic experience, great service and of course a fun time. We purchased the 3 year old Rum, 2 bottles of Vodka, Agave Rum and Dark Rum . All highly recommended. Well be back.

Saw a flyer for this place right down the road from our hotel and we had some time to kill so we decided to check it out and it was very interesting and the people were very very nice and seem genuinly interested in having a conversation with us . Would definitly reccomend stopping by if your close by

Distillery tour was fun and informative and the staff is friendly as well. The still is a work of art. Great tasting rum and vodka. Easy to find and worth stopping for while traveling down Route 66.

Great place and fantastic rum.

This is the 2nd time I have visited. This time I was able to taste the whiskey they were aging during the first visit. They have a nice selection of rum and whiskey flights to taste. The lady walked us through each tasting and was knowledgeable ablution the product. They have a sitting area and also have olive oil and balsamic vinegar products that were also tasty.

What a unique place! I love dark rum so much. They have gotten it right!

Took our daughters to a rum & whiskey tasting event. This was awesome. They have specials throughout the year with food & drinks events. The place is close by and family ran and they are nice. They take the time to explain their alcohol. We will definitely be going back.

Good rum and vodka, as well as a Agave rum that was great. Staff was great and the tour taught you the difference between rum and whiskey. If you are driving across 40, spend 30-45 min for the detour even just for the tasting.

We did the tasting, it was really tasty. Badly the tour was not available at the day we were there. We ordered a cocktail afterwards, it was perfect!

Tour was wonderful and the staff was superb.We did the tour, had the tasting paired with a cheese plate, and were able to purchase things in their small store front.Absolutely lovely.

Great rum with a one of a kind flavor

This was a wonderful experience. The owners are are true craftsmen with a passion for their craft. Their product is unique and memorable. If you are in the area this is a must see. Take the tour do the tasting. Take some home. Wish I could have got a bottle of every vintage. The vodka is a revelation. The 3 year is bold and full bodied. The agave is a true treat. Will be back. Some folks have some wonderful Christmas presents coming.

I want to bring special attention to this business!!! My twin sister and i sent our mom on a treasure hunt to this place for her birthday since we couldnt be there to celebrate with her. I planned her trip through peter and john (who are the best ever!) who informed me of all they have to offer and also kept it a secret till my mom walked in and was greeted happily and got the full tour with tasting and got to pick out her present. Our mom loved her time there and was surprised she lived so close to this hidden gem. the desert diamond distillery is truly worth the excursion and the owners treat you so well. I make it a hoby to tour craft distilleries and this was a treat. Its refreshing to see these (as with most) craft distillers take such pride and love in their product.

$5 for the tour regardless if they are making booze or idle.$10 for tasting.Prices are not posted in clear site for you to see.Would you like a tour; Yes I would. $5 please.Would you like a tasting; Yes I would $10 please.REALLY.....Charging customers to sample a product you are trying to sell at $27+ per bottle.Owner doesnt like the idea you dont want to taste their product.Owner also gleams over their product, although good or bad, I will decide without you telling me. ThanksI realize this is a small operation compared to some mega factory. Yes I got that. But in order to get the word out that you have booze to sell dont nickle and dime the customer.You dont have to tell me the product is Gold Medal and it tastes superb, I will be the judge of that. (They try to convince you their RUM is better than anything you ever tasted even before you taste it) Basically they try to coerce you all way thru the tour.Word of mouth goes a loooooong way.I would have been more that happy to buy a couple bottles of their product, but I felt like I was being robbed.Just stick to your usual rum or vodka and all will be good

Very low-key and comfortable place to drink some great craft liquor. Excellent choice for booze fans on the way to Vegas or for the discerning liquor connoisseur looking for something unique.

On our way from The Grand Canyon through Kingman to Laughlin in June of 2017 we stopped in to take a tour & sample their rum wares and both experiences were excellent! John Patt is a great tour host and rum maker and we would stop in again should we ever find ourselves here in the future!

What a find in Kingman. Very informative and personable tour of how rum, whiskey and Brandy is made. Super nice people. You gotta take an hour and do the tour and tasting.

Havent gotten to Kingman for the tour yet - but I will. A HUGE fan of the agave rum. Since its only sold in a few places around Tempe, I always buy 3-4 bottles at a time.
