Best park in North Carolina. The veterans memorial is massive and the largest on the east coast besides DC. So much information to read on all the different stone carvings. Very impressive. There is an 18 hole disc golf course that skirts the park called Patriot. It has two paved tees at every basket and is my favorite to play in the area. Lots of playgrounds and walking trails. If you are a veteran, have kids, play disc golf, or all of the above you have to visit.

A hidden gem, tucked away on the outskirts of Kernersville. This park is spacious, and well maintained. It offers large walking paths, bike paths, soccer fields, volleyball courts, and disc golf; just to name a few amenities. Well worth taking a trip out to visit. Bring snacks or lunch, because once you get there, you will want to stay awhile.

This is a lovely spot to visit in the Triad. Ive been here a few times now and its a great peaceful place to hang out. The Field of Honor is a must see if you have not been here. The memorial is beautifully designed and the grounds here are always well taken care of. They have many shelters around this part with picnic tables, grills, etc as well as places for horseshoe and other activities. There is also a playground for the kids. Its one of my favorite parks in the area.

Triad Park is lovely, has great, easy trails, and is about 3.3km from the first playground area round trip through the whole park. Id give it 5 stars, but the security guard company they use sends overzealous men in small cars to harass people for even the slightest of perceived violations. This is usually only on the weekends, however.

Our Church function was a going away for our Bishop, but there were tornado warnings shortly beforehand. We got to Area 1 clean and close to the parking lot and found that the area was very well covered, the grilling area spacious and clean. Restrooms were close by, as well as grass and volleyball where we could play! When it did rain, we were well protected! Reserve this park area for your next function.

Love the park itself but not a fan of how they run the place . Not only did they take $200 when we reserved a shelter for our kids bday party that got rained out. ... they also will ride around like police because my two year old and six year old were running in the amphitheater and we didnt reserve it .....I just don’t understand. Love the park itself but wouldn’t recommend parties. Would have to warn of the police officers and how they’ll make a seen with an entire family (not speaking Of mine) because they were at a shelter they didn’t reserve. No one was there for that shelter that day ...why do you refuse to allow people to use the park? Fix this issue ... because it’s unnecessary what you guys do there.

Tho so many different areas the trails are safe and rewarding no loud noise loud music playing never seen one bit of rowdy people they have about three or four small parks for children to play probably age 1 and up they have a stadium where the local bands are available to play if you need a nice place to clear your mind and take a Beautiful long enjoyable walk this will be the place they also have a track as well big as a baseball field and in the back of the park they have a monumental area dedicated to the Air Force that’s a really nice site to see and a wonderful place to take pictures a waterfall in that area as well,, There is a community center look like it could be used for gatherings and weddings and just that area is surrounded by nothing but beautiful landscapes!!! We visited Triad Park this evening for a lovely drive. People were walking, playing at the playgrounds, playing disc golf, and playing volleyball on one of the seven sand courts. This park is always in beautiful condition, no matter the season. There are picnic tables with grills. Theres a paved pathway system for walking, biking, and skating. There are two Gazebo Shelters that do not require reservations. This is a fabulous free facility and a great place to spend a few hours - or if you want to try all the activities - even a full day.

Such a great park. Huge. We go there a lot, but dont upset the park employees. We were treated so rudely by one for making a mistake and sitting in a pavilion that was either to be rented or was previously rented. We were also told by someone visiting the park that they had been previously treated the same way by this rude man... He has gray hair, a short gray beard, glasses and hes tall (was wearing a cap). He rides around in one of the go carts. My husband asked for his first and last name but the man then became silent. Someone like this who works for the public is a disgrace to society. Yelling at a family for sitting on a bench... Even my six year old noticed how inappropriate and rude his behavior was.

We were here recently for a concert that took place for veterans and included a day of events to honor the local veterans. This field of honor area is huge. As we were arriving, there was a dedication going on in the monument area. As much as we would like to have stayed for that...but we were making sure we were in our usual concert spot..up front and center. On past the monument is a large covered stage. The stage is massive and the perfect place for a band. There is room up front for fans and then there are seats as well..though they are not covered and plenty of room on the lawn. I knew the band and went over to talk to the drummer and noticed there was a road in to the stage area and one around the side. So those with mobility issues can drive around and be dropped off. But from the monuments down to the stage is very steep, so it would be a difficult walk with those with health issues. I am sure somewhere within the park area there are bathroom, nut I didnt see any here, just porta potties.
