It is a very nice park. You can fish, cookout, they have jon boats to rent and paddleboats. They just are not renting them at this time.

Excellent park for seniors, children, families, handicapped. Excellent park for those who love to fish and hike. Beautifully maintained. Staff on premises. Easily accessible. Beautifully landscaped with river birches, crepe myrtles, and trees native to the area. The walking trail is paved and winds through the woods. The lakeside has benches for fishing and picnic tables/grills.

I love going here in the early mornings. The beautiful sun rise over the water. The quite time you get with friends in the morning. The lake is open Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday. The only time its closed is Wednesday cause those poor guys need the day off. Its a great place to hang out, go fishing, let your kids play ride bikes take pets and a clean bathroom. You can even have parties there or just have lunch there. You might it geese and duck visitors cranes and random otter. Great prices for boating and the two man paddle boats.

A fun place for the whole family. They have row boats, paddle boats, a volleyball net, a well- kept play area, shelters, clean bathrooms, and fishing. There are many fish feeders in the lake to attract the fish toward the places where people fish from.The only thing keeping this from a five star rating is that they dont have anywhere to swim.

Nice place for family or for a walk with the dogs. Big lake. Nice and relaxing. They have a nice size playground. Several spots to cookout and a hugh shelter for events. And you can fish on the dock or rent paddle boats and canoes.

Great place to relax. Rent a boat for a few dollars and go catch some fish. Great way to relax and enjoy the day. They also have a playground for kids. There is a large pavillion to have have a place for the family or friends. I recommend having a relaxing day Kernersville Lake Park.

Good fishing, especially teaching younger kids. Pretty clean except for people who leave fishing line and cigarette butts all over the banks. Nice playground and picnic areas and friendly staff. Our go-to fishing spot.

Nice, clean and beautiful. I was able to take my 6 month old baby and was able to be in the shade. There was benches to sit on and boats you can rent

Cute little park. Very clean playground, lake and shoreline. Not enough paved walking area around the lake for a stroller though. Can walk some...but the pavement ends after a short distance.

The park its OK. It has a fairly wide gazebo for activities you can also rent to fish in the lake. They have rental boats that go from $ 1 dollar to $ 10 dls the pedal boat is rented for 10dls an hour. Parents please need to watch their children in the playground.

Quaint little getaway location for the family. The have shore fishing only in a few locations, but you can rent a boat (with paddles or bring your own motor) to get out to better spots. Folks are usually friendly here. If youre coming to fish, the best spots are taken shortly after the gates open.

Great place for family walk even w/little children. Dont forget to being bread b/c there are plenty of ducks and geese to feed. Budget friendly boat rentals, nice picnic place, small park more appropriate for kids under 9, whats not to love?

A bit more crowded than Id like but a decent place to visit. Walking, biking, horse/pet-friendly. Took about 4 hours to drag old dogs and kids around the whole lake. A few more benches and water fountains might be nice though. I do like that the fountains had dog-accessible spigots too.

Nice little town park. Has a playground, a short walking trail through the woods, peddle boat and johnboat rentals as well as fishing access. They even have a couple volleyball courts and horseshoe pits.

Kernersville Lake if you go there you will catch a fish but they do have some monster fish in their lake and man do I love it nice fishing nice place to fish.

Love this park, only problem is the park not being fenced in. Kids could easily wonder off into the woods or get too close to the water. Even with 3 adults watching 10 kids it was a struggle to keep the kids from the path into the woods to the water. There needs to be somthing there. Also dont let your kids wear nice clothing cayse what ever they use on the playground leaves black marks all over your kids clothing.

Well taken care of park with shelters a shaded playground bathrooms and a lake for fishing... Bank fishing or rent a Duck Commander sized Jon Boat for fishing... No launching your own boats here... Attendant on site.....Lake attracts mosquitoes and riff raff drawn to shaded littered spots to fish and do whatever riff raff do when they go outside...
