We always have so much fun! Love that there is a toddler playground as well as the older kids area to play. My toddler loves both, but it is so nice to have a space to pull him away if older kids want to run around (which is great! go out and play). the walk from the parking lot to the playground is beautiful, with the bridges and creeks. Cant wait to go back!!

I forgot how awesome this park is! Skateboard park, bball park, playground, picnic table and shelter. Im sure theres a ton more, but we never seem to make it past the first section ha! Bathrooms there. Everything is well kept and clean. Wish the playground had swings, but, for a park, its one of the best around!

One of my favorite parks! The scenery is beautiful with a little creek running through the middle. There is a lot to do and the dog parks are nice. I love that it is mostly shaded by all of trees so you can escape the heat and the sun and still be outside.

This has been one of my families go to parks for over 25 years! It was my favorite as a girl and now 25 years later, it is my childrens (6 & 10yr old boys) favorite as well. Very interactive playground, its shaded, has a dog park, a creek with 2 bridges, a walking trail and shelters.Cons- they got rid of the big swings. That is the only complaint my children ever have about this place.

The Skate/scooter/bike park was a lot of fun.. We were diggin the age ranges, went for a walk around the park and ran into many friendly pets and their people! 5 stars for sure and looking forward to all that Kernersville and Walkertown has to offer! See you around folks

I absolutely Love this park, i grew up coming to the playground and the fact that they have a basketball court and a skate park, now that i grew out of parks i can move right over to the skate park. But. I do wish they would upgrade this park a little. i would give a 4.5 but i don’t know how so pretend i did lol and 5 stars if they get a NICE upgrade!..

Nice park with a little creek running through it, a path where you can learn about various trees, tennis courts, a skate park and a dog park. It also has restrooms and several picnic shelters with grills that you can reserve. There is an open field and school right beside it. The outer loop path around it has an old schoolhouse and some fun drums to play on. Parts of the path are shaded and seemed like a popular place for kids and adults to exercise. Nice playground too but currently roped off due to COVID.

Amazing family friendly park, fun park to bring you animals, we brought our ducks and they had so much fun!

Love the park except there are no swings. Thats just crazy to me. When I was growing up, this park had a ton of swings...in a circle!

It was a great place to meet friends in the pandemic; each of us at a different picnic table. Lots of other folks were walking dogs. There was more to discover but we ran out of time.

Love this park! Its big, has cool trails and activities along the trails, as well as a good number of seating areas and pavillions.

It was so pretty and peaceful. Me and my friend stayed for hours just catching up and enjoying the fresh air.

Not what it used to be, but its not 1987 anymore, gone are the days when you could find swings that would take you 20 feet up. They have changed with the times, and pretty gracefully. Still a great park. The addition of the skate park was great idea and helped diversify the activities that can be done here.

Great place to bring kids & dogs. They have 2 gates areas for dogs. Playground & swing set for kids as well as stops to catch pokemon.

Love this park! Has a great dog park & its always clean & well stocked w bags. Nice trails that cross over a shallow creek that my pup loves to play in.

Fourth of July Park is a nice little park that has lot of public events, clean bathrooms, nice cultural events, theres festivals all types of other monthly activities. We enjoy going to the events because it gives us something to do and chance to get out socialize with the community.

Very nice park, not only a dog park which is what we went for. It had a huge playground for children and covered picnic areas as well as grills for the public to us. Nice paved walking area with little bridges going over creeks. Will be going back for sure.

This is a great place in Kernersville North Carolina to take the family for either play time good walks or picnics as well as shelter events. They also have many special events throughout the year. This park also recognizes and memorializes the United States armed forces and their sacrifices!

Nice park with walking trail, skate park, dog park, playground, tennis courts, basketball court, and picnic shelters. Several educational features including signs describing various tree species and information about creek buffers. The park also has a little area with statues for various service professions and a tree planted from an acorn found at the site of 9/11 tragedies. Very popular and sometimes over crowded as a result.

We take Minnie to the dog park, she loves it there! Lots of room to run, and usually a pup water fountain!

We go to 4th of July park everyday to walk and let my grandson play in the creek. Its one of our favorite parks

Ive been going to this park since I was a kid and just recently took my nephews. The new playground is awesome! Theres plenty of space for kids to run and play. I wish there were more swings, but I like that they have the special ones that they do.

Clean, big..very nice dog park! On nice days alot of people out playing basketball, skateboarding, playing with their dogs etc. Id recommended to any dog owner.

Nice playground and paved walking trails that are partially shaded. Outdoor tennis, basketball and pickleball courts. Pet run fenced area. Picnic shelters are very good. Park is well maintained. No swimming pool.

Not really my favorite dog park. Not much grass since I last went. There’s some shade but it’s kind of small compared to other dog parks I’ve been to. Especially the small dog side but other than that it’s okay

Very enjoyable walking paths with lots of shade! Multiple picnic shelters and playgrounds for the kids. Tennis courts and a skate park too. Sweet retreat!! Plan to visit again soon.

Spend most of the time at the skate park. Cool place and the city maintains it. Its always clean except for the kids that always leave trash during the summers but the parks and rec employees are always happy to clean up.

Good place for good family memories.The playground has really improved over the years ... it once had a long metal slide that went into a mud puddle. So much better now! The dog park improved over the years and my dog loved it. Went every day.

Always a calm, collective place to have a stroll, especially towards the evening time. The grounds are well kept and taken care of with dedication to the tree and plant species. One park I always come back to and will keep coming back to for years to come.

AWESOME spot to take a nice relaxing walk. Plenty of shade from the summer heat! Dog park, tennis courts, basketball courts and even a skate park with lots of shelters and playground equipment for the kids. Small creek running thru too! Look around, ya might find some good crawdads!

I like this park. Decent playground, well maintained tennis courts and bathrooms. Plenty of trails to walk on. There is a basketball court and bike/skateboard park as well. Also has shelters to use for picnics and parties.Nice to see water fountains to drink from as well.They need to clear out poison ivy from under trees, as so many people like myself are allergic (or highly allergic). Other than that....great place to go.

Its a great park with plenty for the family to do. Theyve certainly improved over time and its a great spot for Pokémon Go, if youre into that.

My favorite local skate park. They have lots of transitions and banks and rails And a 1/2 pipe.

I love this park. They have a large play area for children that is very clean and safe. They have a cool skateboarding area along with a nice dog park.So why 4 stars.The dog park. The large dog area of the park is a mess, two giant blocked off areas within the park because they are very muddy all of the time. For the sake of dealing with a muddy dog after the park, I appreciate it. But this limits the areas in which the dogs can roam. I would greatly appreciate it if this would be fixed as I think it would bring more dogs, and their owner, to the park

Its a very nice family park. It has a great play ground and nice dog parks. One for small dogs and one for large dogs.

The new playground is nice and we love that there are bathrooms available. If the skate park or basketball areas arent crowded (and they often arent), there are a lot more things/spaces you can easily enjoy here. I like walking while my child plays on the playground - easily in sight the entire loop (if you stay on the small loop right around the playground). The trails are better for walking rather than running, since there isnt a lot of mileage available.

Nice park for all ages and all interests. From simple trail walk to skate boarding. Pretty much has all activities!

We love going here. Its very shaded which is great in the summer. We can do a little walk and then play at the playground. Sometimes it can be crowded, but we always have a good time.

I love this park. It has a nice dog park and there are doody bags in many locations so you can pick up after your pet. You can also go off the paths and explore the creek and wooded areas.

The park is awesome. Walking/running trails play area for children and covered shelter areas for birthdsy parties plus grills and tables throughout the park.

Rented a shelter and had my sons 2nd birthday party there. Great facility and wonderful playground. Everyone had an incredible time

The fourth of July park in Greensboro, NC is the ideal family friendly location for getting out of the house as it consists of a park, a basketball court and for those seeking fellow skateboarders there is also an adjacent skatepark to the park and court.

Its ok. We were there for a baby shower in Shelter 1. Very pretty shelter. The bathrooms are absolutely disgusting. Wished they had more basketball goals.

It was very nice I had a wonderful time there with my great niece and great nephew they are 1 an a half year old twins. I love them so much
