I can’t complain too much because it is free but I would say, don’t go out of your way to visit this garden. It’s got some cool flowers but not many. Most of the property is the main building or just grass. From the pictures and other reviews I expected a lot more.

Terrific place to take a stroll and enjoy the beauty. It was free to walk around (easy walk) and take in the beautiful flowers and trees.

Lovely garden with so many beautiful plants its hard to see them! Definitely with strolling through any time of the year as there is always something blooming!

Spent two hours here on Friday. I was the only person in the facility and came to take pictures. Worked out very well for me. Beautiful facility and learning plant names was a bonus. Only negative was the power lines on the road...they can mar an otherwise gorgeous shot but not the facilitys fault.

We were expecting to spend about 30 minutes here but that turned into almost an hour and a half. Much more then we thought for the end of August. We got so my ideas that we cant wait to get home and try them out. One bush had a caterpillar on almost every branch getting ready to make their cocoons. Already planning on returning to this area to see the new additions in a few years.

I love this place! Like something out of a story book! Perfect for a walk!

This garden is coming along so well. My daughters and I stopped by to check it out after a long week of rain. The trees along the fences are full grown. We were amazed by the number of yellow finch flying overhead as we walked off the path to the hidden garden. Theres a lush lawn, with an inviting gazebo in the center. We cannot wait for the woodsy garden to complete. Bring your lunch and enjoy a beautiful day at the garden.

Free to get in. Peaceful. A bit small. The best part was the area in front of the parking lot. The flowers and plants were incredible.

The botanical garden in Kernersville is a cute area. Easy parking and a nice place to walk around. The flowers are lovely and most are labeled, and the venue is very nice. It is small so it definitely isnt an all day affair but what they do have is quite beautiful and the environment is very pleasant.

This is a wonderful way to spend the day! It is a beautiful and relaxing spot to walk around and smell the fresh herbs, flowers, and trees! They have put a lot of work into it to maintain it! The gift center is excellent as well, and has honey, organic lotions and creams, garden decor, and other gifty items as well! Everybody needs to come here!

The garden is small, but growing, and so lovely! Its a beautiful place to stretch you legs and enjoy the colors. In the spring, the bulb garden is incredible! And the desert plantings around the parking lot are varied and amazing.The gift shop has some interesting items that anyone would be happy to receive (or keep!) I purchased a tiny robin statue and a garden flower stake made from a plate! The staff is always friendly and enthusiastic.The building is also used for weddings and events.

The gardens were beautiful. We were there between the blooming seasons. We missed the spring blooms and were too early for the fall blooms. The gardens were still beautiful and varied in greenery. Many different plants and styles to see.

Gorgeous place to visit and to walk. Even just to have parties, its beautiful and that party would be memorable! I recommend a visit.

Man, what a great garden! I particularly like the gardens around the parking area. The plantings around the visitors building is also very nice. Lots of inspiration for my own garden. A real gem in the heart of Kernersville!

Great to visit during the week and weekends! We took our babies and they loved it. The gift shop is not open on Saturdays though! You can call and ask about wedding reservations too.

This garden is a beautiful place to take a short walk and see tulips in the spring. I gave it 4 instead of 5 stars because it is still being built, and the facility rental is expensive. The plans look wonderful for future development and what is already there is lovely. We had our wedding reception there a few years ago, and it was small but new and classy inside. Fabulous time for our Renewal wedding reception! Everything was in bloom and very comfortable atmosphere!! Lynn Adams help with the paperwork and planning. Very reasonable as far as a venue! Perfect day for our event.

Very nice botanical garden. My fiancee and I have taken pictures here a few times. The recycled water bottle flowers are beautiful are night.

What they do have growing is beautiful and well maintained. I’m sure things are difficult right now with COVIT. Very small place. I wish I could say I enjoyed myself, but the little space there was to enjoy and walk had photography sessions EVERY direction I turned so I either had to get out of the way of senior pic taking or put up with ppl being really loud trying to get the babies attention for a large family pic.

This place is beautiful, definitely worth spending an hour or 2 here. We had a wedding here and the facility accommodated everyone comfortably. Its a little difficult to take pictures of large groups in some of the more scenic areas, but that is only a minor issue. Everyone we spoke with was pleasant, and e would recommend this place for other engaged couples.

A very nice botanical garden and a great asset to the community. I love the scree/dry garden in the parking lot. Come see the giant agave bloom, its very rare and will be gone soon I suspect.

Beautiful, well kept gardens, lovely people working there. I liked how all the plants have name plates so I can learn the differant names of all the wide variety of plants. Its a new and growing facility, with a very nice building, and plans, and well worth the time to see, if your in the area.

This garden is a lovely little oasis. If you need a connection with Nature while in the area, its well worth a stop. They have some old favorites growing, but several unusual specimens as well that are quite interesting to see. It looks like they are still expanding the planting areas, so theres more to discover on a future visit.

A beautiful secret treasure in Kernersville!

A beautiful place with wonderful grounds and it was beautifully decorated for Christmas with a short walk through tour.

I took a garden tour in April and thoroughly enjoyed the grounds. This garden is young and expanding with a lovely plan for new areas. The kitchen garden was amazing, and the tulips were lush. The large, airy building at the entrance houses a well stocked gift shop and facilities perfect for a wedding or conference. Our tour guides were friendly and knowledgable, enthusiastic about the gardens history as well as its future plans. If you belong to a garden club it would be worthwhile to set up a tour at Ceiner.

I fell in love when we got out of car. I just followed my noise to the flowers. They put in a lot of work at this botanical garden and it shows. They take pride in their flowers. The gift shop is great. It has plants and honey. Please make the stop here

This is a public garden like no other in the area, always pushing the envelope of horticulture practices. The highly-skilled staff here demonstrates their mastery of techniques like pleaching, espalier, and other pruning and display techniques. The combinations of plants in each bed give home gardeners ideas about how to decorate their own landscapes with flowering plants and foliage textures.

A beautiful garden, even in winter. There are espaliered trees and plants with winter foliage, so it was worth the visit. My adolescent sons agreed! (We didnt get to the woodland garden because it was wet after all the recent rain.)

This place is absolutely beautiful! Plant variety is there but missing a lot of tags on plants.

I went here on my sons kindergarten field trip. The grounds are remarkable and they have plans to expand. Were we able to try to edible greens, some of which even I had never tried. The flora were incredible, but the guides made the tour. The gentleman that showed us around was both knowledgeable and personable.

Its small but very serene. We have been there twice.

Beautiful place in the heart if Kernersville

Went with a group from JC Arboretum. We lucked out on weather. Trip over and back, piece of cake. And as busy as the garden was, Adrienne gave us a spectacular tour. WE ENJOYED OUR VISIT TREMENDOUSLY. And Adrienne steered us to several excellent nearby restaurants. A most excellent day trip opportunity!!!!! Highly recommend!!!

This is a beautiful location but I would not recommend this venue for a wedding. The staff at this venue are not equip for events of this nature.

Beautiful place to walk around. Many different amazing flowers and some even keep up in winter. Amazing parking in the area and easy access. No membership required to go in the garden and if you live in the area its an easy walk.

Nice setup with beautiful flowers but seemed small. We may have missed some areas or maybe there is more to see in Summer. It was very relaxing and we had a nice time.

While the outdoor area was open to the public, surprisingly the inside is closed on the weekend.There is a wide variety of plants with plenty of identification markers.They are currently expanding.

Compared to other gardens in the Triad, it was mediocre.Dont stop by unless you are okay with spending only 10 minutes looking at flowers. There are plans to expand the garden, but when I went in August no construction had been started. Didnt get to see anything on the inside the building on-site. I give it 4, simply because its not as elaborate as I would expect for a botanical garden.

Love the lay out. Walked away more knowledgeable. Everyone was very helpful. They offer so much to the public.

I havent actally been but i think it is super cool and I want to go soon.

Went there to see tulips but was disappointed as tulips were not in good shape, half of them were dead and damaged by weather. The garden is very small.It has good parking space thats the only plus from my visit.

Pretty but small, map of the place showed it was a lot larger but paths are either non existant or not clearly marked. There were several areas closed off. The main path near the building/parking lot/gazebo is not advisable for anyone with mobility issues as the path is very unlevel, a bit rocky & washed. There is even a caution sign. It was not good for the 16 & 18 yr old people that were with me.

The Paul J. Ciener Botanical Gardens are a notable local destination. There are several different types of gardening styles on display, as well as a kitchen garden. It is a nice place to stroll through. There is no admission fee to visit the gardens.The Ciener Center also features a gift shop, restrooms and a ballroom that is great for corporate parties, reunions, small galas and other such events. There are event coordinators to help you with seating placement and recommendations for local vendors.The building is fairly new, the bathrooms are very clean and the service kitchen appears spaious.

Last year was BEAUTIFUL but this year is rough looking...

There for a meeting, but stayed to look around gift shop. Too cold the day we were there to go outside, but I dont think anything to see in terms of plants anyway! Staff very helpful and friendly. Will be returning in the spring to see all the flowers!

Beautiful place with lots of favorite plants, and many lesser-known varieties. Perennials, bulbs, trees, shrubs, succulents and cactus plus a lot more. Its different every time we go.

This is such a beautiful place. Its growing every month too. Its free. It has a donation box and I encourage the donations because it is good to support local places like this.
