Great place and a lot of history in there. Right now, because of covid-19 youll need to schedule your tour. It will take you one hour to see the entire house. Theyre very well organized. The tour is self guided. A lot of good information in every room. Highly recommended!

A visit to this home is truly a great experience. To see all the architectural details and worldly elements in person are mind blowing. Having the opportunity to visit during the Christmas season was icing on the cake. Each room was designed taking the home owners legacy in mind--filled me with Christmas cheer and delight!!

A very cool place to visit. This 3 story, 7 level home was built in 1880 and has been renovated over the last dozen plus years. It is full of cool stories and tidbits of facts. You should check it out and ask for the scavenger hunt.

So unique and beautifully decorated for Christmas! Very tight in many spaces tho and made it hard to enjoy each room because you were surrounded by lots of people. Very steep steps and not handicap friendly inside the house due to the style of house and the original builders upgrades. Such a cool story though behind the house and its builder. Definitely a must see!

Such an interesting place! Utterly unique historic house. Friendly staff. Good informational video at Aunt Dealys house (ticket & gift shop) before you embark on self-guided tour. Information placards in each room give you the history and guide you to the next room. I highly recommend comfortable walking shoes, as there are many staircases between all 7 levels of the house. We spent about an hour here. Id love to come again!

This beautiful house was from the late 1800s. It was decorated for Christmas-nicely done. The history was interesting. The 1st ever theater in the country was in this home. It was beautiful. This house is known as the strangest architectural house in America. Each room is different. This is a must see! And only $10 to tour it.

Loved this house. Although it doesnt look like much from the outside, it unbelievable inside. It is in constant renovation so some rooms are still in progress. My favorite was the theater. They offer a short film, I would recommend if you arent familiar with the history. 11 original rooms and carriage house converted into 22 very elaborate displays. Worth the $10 admission. Some very unique antiques and murals. Some doorways and stairs are very narrow and a few rooms have only about 5ft clearance.

The most unique peculiar place! We attended the Christmas by Candlelight Tours and it was awesome! We arrived around 5:30pm based on the suggestion online that 6-7pm was a busy time. We purchased our tickets online while others in our group had to purchase a ticket there. The line to purchase tickets was not long and we moved right through to our tour.

The house is nice, and the self guided tour puts you in the time period and is easy to follow, while still being comprehensive. The house is amazing to look through and be in, and there seems to be no end to the rooms. For a bigger guy like me, the stairs can be narrow at times, and there are some low ceilings, but people were smaller back then. Would recommend for a side stop of an hour or two.

This is a cool place located in the middle of the Triad. It is a neat tourist stop to showcase to family & friends who are visiting from out of town - plus a great place for locals who are looking for something to do on weekend afternoon. The hosts/greeters in the house are very friendly and helpful (Ms Mary is super nice). The house features a unique blend of history and eccentric architecture. Simply follow the easy to see directional signs inside the house to maneuver around and see everything. Highly recommend!

Never heard about this place until our group decided to visit. 26 of us visited this absolutely wonderful hidden treasure of North Caroling and its history. The House is not completely restored as of yet but that does not take anything away from the amazing story and character of why it is here. The Staff and Docents were fabulous to say the least and 3 hours of a real treasure was one of the finest trips our group have ever undertaken. Thank you to all who serve to make this a wonder for all to see.

This place is amazing. I loved this place. It is beautiful and very unique. It was very educational and interesting to see such a creatively designed house. I was really impressed. I think its amazing that over 90 percent of the furniture is original. The murals are really in good shape. Its place you could visit many times and see something different everytime. Its a great place for any age. They even have a scavenger hunt for children to do. The cost was very reasonable. I would highly recommend this place.

We had visited the Folly over the years but this visit was special. We had family in town for our daughters wedding and wantedvto do something special to showcase Our Town. The Folly was perfect. The on going renovations were complete and we were able to see the whole building for the first time. My family enjoyed the eccentricities of the home . The tour guides were knowledgeable and the placard explanations were detailed enough to get a good overview without being overwhelming. The house is so unique it is fun to walk through without any explanation We are looking forward to more out of town guests to go again. And look for the special celebrations, Art fest and Octoberfest, Saturday childrens plays and he local theatres first play of the season is held in the homes private stage . Visiting Kernersville .... its a must see!

Körners Folly was built by the founder of modern-day Kernersville, NC. While he was a bachelor, the horses and carts actually travelled through an archway through the center of the house, which was in two parts, to drop off goods. The original hayloft still exists in the house, converted to a music conservatory for local children after Mr. Körner married and had children. It is a very interesting look at life in the 1800s. I would definitely recommend it.
