This disc golf course is amazing. Have always loved coming here. New holes is a plus. This course has amateur and pro tees. Difficulty of all the hole is well rounded would definitely recommend this place

This is a great family park for families with just kids or with pets or both!whenever my family visit they never wants to leave wether it’s cold or hot outside and I can’t wait for this stay home order lift bc my family would really love to hangout and play at the park.

Well maintained 18 hole course. A good mix of holes, both easy and challenging. Some great shots through the woods. Only downside is that there is no indication of which way to go for the next hole, so if youre not familiar with the course it could present some issues.

Good disc golf course for all types of players. Different kinds of shots on most of the holes. some open, some in woods and some technical ones as well. Some times if busy the parking lot can get kind of packed and you have to park on the side of the street.

What to say about this park. Wow. If you are the type that wants to get out and enjoy the day exercising or having fun. This is the place. Disc golf cages all over park. Nature walk is beautiful. And trash is not to bad. Couple pieces here and there but clean over all.

Good disc golf park, on the easier side but it’s a good wooded course that will help you with technical holes with tunnel shots and not just airing it out.

Disc golf course is maintained. Not too difficult, but with a few technical holes. Hard to lose a disc, but it is possible.

Love this park. The pavilion has electric so you can charge your phone. I was disappointed because the water was off but covid19.

Such a neat park with lots of different equipment and musical equipment for the kids to play with. Basket ball court, tennis court, splash pad type area, and a path with a bridge over a creek. Great place to spend an afternoon.

Completely ruined the setup of the baskets. Installed new cheaper baskets. welds already breaking on the baskets..fire who ever changed the best 24 hole course around anywhere !!!!!

Absolutely horrible!!!!! We brought a group of kids to enjoy the splash pad. Water never came on at 11am! Glass was all on the parking lot area!! We called several times for service to no avail. ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE!!!!!!

Great course, challenging, fun

I can remember as a child going to West park, my mom would always tell me in later years that that was my favorite park, and having the opportunity to go to West park again at this age was an enjoyable experience, had brought back a lot of memories, I recommend anyone with children, its very friendly, very wide open spaces to visit that park.

Newly renovated West Park in Joliet Illinois now features paved walking paths, updated playground and splash/ water area for cooling off playtime and still has the popular disk/ frisbee golf course.

Always a good course to play, even better since the updated layout.

Nice for frisbee golf, a bit of climbing. A little rough for a beginner (like myself) in some spots. Overall good place!

I go here a lot for disc golf. The course is updated but still feels cluttered and unkempt while playing holes within forest areas. Still a step up for what it was thought.

Good course if you want a challenge. Lots of large trees. Semi well marked path.

Really fun disc golf course. We played the first 18 homes, but had to stop because the mosquitos were horrible. I highly recommended the course, but be prepared for tons of bugs and to get a little bit dirty. Should have gotten bug spray!

One of the oldest disc golf courses in the world is still unique a day fun to play 36 years after it was built. 24 holes with a creek and very significant elevation changes, especially for the northeastern Illinois location. Definitely worth an occasional visit.

Wonderful place for Disc golf.

This is a great place to take the kids to play. The playground has plenty for the kids to play on and has been clean everytime we have visited. They do have a restroom here as well which is always nice if your planning to have a birthday party under the pavilion. There is also two tennis courts and frisby golf. They do have trails in the woods as well to take a nature walk. Most always I have had good encounters with the quality of people here however I have had a few bad. There was two car loads of kids who all were on heroin. I know this because a young girl maybe 15 was with them who was overdosing and the friends were trying to bring her back. I called a paramedic got my kids in the car and when I heard the sirens and saw them pulling up we left. Not something I wanted my kids to see. Another time a man and woman brought a large dog to the park that was not friendly and we had to leave. So even though its a great place there are people who ruin it for others to enjoy.

Disk golf is a challenge. Lots of tress on this corse.

The park turned out GREAT. My grand daughter loves the splash pad.

If they would make people clean up behind there dogs it would be a better park but the water spout additions are nice.

It is a great layout and one of the oldest Disc Golf courses around est. 1979 but it shows. The park is neglected, underfunded, and frequently defaced by disrespectful goers that vandalize, steal, and litter. Sadly the district has abandoned it. I love this park and have been playing there for years but with recent upgrades to other parks and newly established ones there are now better alternatives.

Renovations are nice. Lots of bare dirt still, but decent overall!!

Very clean and lots of things for people of all ages to do.

A good place to take the kids now that the water park is finished just avoid the hobos that live in the woods

I have always loved West Park but it seems kind of run down latley, Im glad its being remodeled, cant wait to see it when its finished!

Great park

Good disc golf course overall; there are 24 holes in total, most of which are woodsy or semi-woodsy with open fairways. A few interesting holes incorporate some valleys/cliffs, along with a small stream. Downsides to this course include proximity to highway (although the noise will likely be muffled once the trees regain their leaves), as well as a somewhat confusing layout for individuals who have not played it yet. Despite this, I highly recommend the course.

Its a good challenging course, but recently it has come to some disrepair - the tees are becoming buried and the signs are overgrown with brush. The visitors seem to have less respect for the course now that its fading, as when I played it I found a good amount of trash all along the path.Send some parks guys out this spring to clean it up, Joliet!

Nice course. Moderate challenge in fall/winter. Easy to lose discs in woods during spring/summer.

I went walking on this what appears to be walk around trail. Keyword appears to be we walked the trail and got lost because it doesnt go all the way around. There was even a rape scene right off the bridge in one of the trails, clothes a used condom and an empty wallet.The only plus side is the splash pad. If you plan on exercising dont go here.trails lead you off to walking on the street. Also when we finally left, walking to my car,their was a drunk guy sleeping on the pavilion picnic tables with a bagged whiskey bottle. Good ol joliet.

Redid park looks nice but smaller play area than before, might be too small in the summer with the tiny splash pad they added
