I love coming to the park with my kids. Its so great to see them having fun. I dont like when other kids dont behave and the parents do nothing about it. Watch your kids!

Pretty small park, but definitely a solid spot for a small gathering and for kids

These are some of the greatest playground slides for a basic community playground. And coupled with the greenway path, very nice. Only complaint is that it is somewhat popular, which during the pandemic is a disappointment as we are trying to keep our distance from people.

Love this park its my favorite one it has a trail around the actual park theres open space and the park itself has nice tall slides and a good amount of swings too

We love the Big Blue Park! Wish the bathroom was kept in better condition, though. Sometimes it’s just nasty.

Bees were everywhere, I couldnt sit down for more than a couple of minutes without being attacked and I tried three different spots.

Great park with a full view of your children no matter what

This park is awesome for the kids. Plenty of places for parents to sit and a huge open field for bringing a soccer ball or football. A large walking path that goes through some forest area and loops around the park. This is a fantastic family park.

Fun playground my grandkids always have fun here. Nice and clean too.

The equipment is fairly new, and theres a bathroom. Not a huge park, but still very popular. Could use more parking space.

My 3 yr old niece loves this park and I dont have to walk with her or help her play bc everything is enclosed so she doesnt get hurt.

The playground itself is great. Only issues are caused because of how great and popular it is. It can be very packed at times.

Needs bug control, needs to be cleaned there was old swings and such just laying in the field. Handicap swing was broke or missing, the park is suitable for 6 and 5 and under not much to do except really worn out swings. Needs maintenance and landscape love

It is a short walking trail, but it connects to many other trails.

This is a great park for kids. It has huge slides for the big kids and smaller ones for the Littles! Plus theres a walking path nearby which is great.

Great park for the kids, big slides, swing sets, with an open field available to fly kites, kick soccer balls, play base ball, etc. Its pet friendly and has a restroom available .

This park was great, but several pieces of playground equipment fell into disrepair. They were removed instead of repaired, and nothing has replaced them.

Nice and clean, they also have a walking trail make sure to put bug spray on

Each year they remove another item from the park that was broken but instead of repairing it they just remove it permanently. Hopefully they maintain the large slides and structure or there will be no park left.

Fine childrens park also includes a walking track. Pet friendly and great neighborhood/location.

Park was a great size, for both bigger and smaller kids.. updated equipment, just so around nice... Only complaint would be parking. It can get a little crowded....

Great place for kids to play. Rubberized foam ground so kids falling cant hurt themselves.

Lovely park. Kids appreciated the black top trail around the inside perimeter to use with scooters while parents can see them at all times without chasing. I am pleased to see that the city continues to update the equipment with the most recent additions of the rapids boats. The slides are numerous and tall enough to keep children entertained.

Theres a rubber floor around the entire playground and the other half of the playground has basically grass, For a baby with Wobbly knees, This park is perfect the slides are cool everything is plastics you really cant get hurt on it Thank you joliet for a great park

This place was really nice it has nice area to do this like kick ball soccer or other activities and it has a nice thing for the older and little kids would recommend to go with a nice area around it

Great place for kids, not so much for dogs.

It is always overcrowded and dirty. Some days there are 50 kids playing at this. There is usually a cop here as well which I guess is a good thing

They took out the fun stuff but its great to meet up with friends

Parking is a task on the weekend. Otherwise it is a great place to bring the kids. Lots of moms hanging around gives you a sense of safety for your children.

This park is recently renovated so it does attract large crowds. There is Forrest preserve trail access. Parking is very slim.

Kids had a blast and grounds were clean

Several areas that were broken but footings still in place where the play equipment removed. Sad,that boat swing was broken and not replaced. I have a special needs child and that was the only part of the playground he could use.

My grand daughter loves to go there especially the very tall slide. Its peaceful there and has a small track you can walk around on while the kids play
