This park is ok to meet up with some for a quick minute. It was, at the time I went, a little dirty. The paths are very nice and not too long.

There is a wide variety of choice of ice cream. Prices are average. There is an outside area with picnic tables and a park like area for children to play.

Rich and Creamy on Broadway had great ice cream at affordable prices. Pictured is the medium cake batter dipped cone. Friendly guy at the counter too!

Excellent pause along busy IL Rt 53. Better to enter Park when heading North. Ice Cream parlor is great refreshment as added attraction.

Their a well established place thats been Joliet for two or three generations. The food is good and their prom with there service.

Park is not maintained at all in the play area there is a bees nest or wasp nest would be a nice park if if it was kept up

My daughters are always saying what great ice cream they have. I went the other day for the 1st time and had a Caramel Milk Shake. What can I say. EXCELLENT AWESOME SHAKE I HAVE EVER HAD IN MY 52 YEARS ON THIS EARTH. THE NEGATIVE I HAVE TO SAY IS PLEASE MAKE THE EMPLOYEES MORE FRIENDLY

Calling this place a park is really stretching the meaning of the word park near to the breaking point. You can walk around and thats...about it. Not that theres anything wrong with that - just dont want people to get the wrong idea.Ive rated it four stars solely on the basis of the ice cream because that is some really yummy ice cream. (I recommend getting the root beer float.)

Nice little park. I would not go close to dark. Feels a little unsafe at night. Great ice cream shop. With a little trail you can walk in about 5-10 minutes. You can look out and see the old Joliet prison. ( just the top of the building, in the far ) This place can get pretty busy in the summer time. Always see tourists taking pictures.

Small, nice, safe, little fence around so kids wont ran away easy... However its usually dirty and lots of litter...

The park was nice. But the older man working at ice cream window was RUDE! We were only customers there. We ordered 1 banana split which came out melted. Then he came out side door and wiped off counter where we ordered and threw water on sidewalk and mopped were we had been standing. RUDE!

In part for itself its not much to do. But right by parking lot there is old Route 66 ice cream place. Across the street old towing with many vintage cars and in park you can find some old route 66 items.

Nothing there, might be nice for a walk in the summer but wouldn’t waste your time.
