Wanna get away from all this craziness going on and appreciate the simple things our creator has given us to enjoy. Come on out and do the loop. Love it.

The trail surface needs attention. Ive been using the trail for 2 years and other than clean up work, its been neglected. The surface needs repair, wash outs, truck ruts and base stone appearance in various areas.

My coworker and I had some time to kill between jobs so we decided to get out here and go hiking glad we did. The loop trail was good length completed in a reasonable amount of time. There are periodic benches with educational info about how the preserve was built and to flora and fauna inhabiting the area. I am glad we discovered this hidden gem.

Hadley valley loop is great for working on timing yourself and getting a good walk in, but unless you’re there during sunrise and sunset the views are pretty meh. It has some elevation that’s not too strenuous but makes an impact on your exercise. This is not a hiking area and it’s more like a walking loop. The ground is a type of crushed gravel and some pits are on the trail so watch your ankles and also watch for the horse and bird poop. There are poop bags for your dogs which is good in case you forget to bring some.

A crushed limestone 2.5 mile loop trail plus an out-and-back trail that heads east under I-355 to Cedar Road. Fairly flat, very little shade, some erosion but not bad. Give it a try!
