Attended our granddaughters 8u softball game for the first time at this location. First the fields are well kept as are the stands. Small snack bar no longer selling hot dogs but lots of other snacks. Bathrooms are ok and easy in and out. Biggest negative is the parking. They have a second set of games starting as soon as the first are ending so finding a space and getting out and in on the narrow road makes this a challenge. Add to that we picked up a huge nail in our tire so you see why we give it 4 .
Great renovations! Plus its by the Jax Beach Golf Course.
Nothing on this site that I can see shows a membership is required. Why is a membership required?
Love the turf despite the odor. Great water stations and plenty of trash cans for easy potty disposal. I didn’t see any bags available so bring your own. We came on a Monday morning and there were only a few dogs. Plenty of room to “chuck” the ball.
A good place for your dogs to play in! Fencing around retention pond should be taller for those dogs that can jump! Other than the fencing, a nice, clean park.
Love this dog park! The people here are always friendly. Bring a tennis ball with you to keep your dog distracted. My dogs like to run around like crazy until they pant to their content. Not the biggest park but a decent size.
There are never any dogs in the little dog park! It is. It kept up nearly as nicely as the large one and little dogs cannot upgrade to the large park without a special request. The big park looks great.
Been a member nearly a year. My dog and I love it! We go several times a week. Regret that fountain has not been repaired. It broke a few months after we joined and has not worked since. Cameras would be nice, since not all members pick up after their dogs. Also, there are a few bully dogs, whose owners would rather say they are just playing, when they need to be corrected or removed. When my dog is lying on her back, tail tucked under, and eyes bulging with fear, she is not having fun! However, nearly all of the dogs are friendly and have a lot of fun together. I would like to see the annual fee go down for one dog, since two extra shots (costing $30) are required to join. $80 for one dog and $100 for two does not seem fair. One of my favorite things is all the exotic birds that hang out there, especially during migratory times!
Great place to take your dogs. (Astroturf)
Awesome dog park. Extremely clean and friendly people!
What happens when you visit town to see family. Oh...Your dog has to have a membership to use the park. WOW
Park was renovated over a year ago, must pay for membership now! Also has murals and pavilions! Amazing place for your dogs!!!
Great Park. There is a Fee you must pay At Jax Beach City Hall when you register your pet and show your dogs shot records. Astro Turf through out so your dog isnt muddy or dirty when they get back in the car. They have two Parks, one for Big Dogs and one for Small guys.
Great park for your dog to play with other dogs, but it is a membership park. I signed up at jax beach town hall for 80 a year
I LOVE it for my dogs! Go let yours run inside the fenced area!
I love this dog park now that the upgrades are done. I would give it a 5, but no one picks up after their dog if they go on the river rock. They should install cameras and fine the folks that dont pick up
Need a membership to go to this park
Great place for dogs to run and play.
Now that the turf upgrade is complete, I highly recommend this dog park. Its been open about one month, and owners are actually picking up after their dogs. The turf is great - no more dirty or muddy dogs after playtime.
My 8 month old malamute kodiak absolutely loves it here however after recent events some of the people have decided to take it upon theirselves to yell at my dog and one lady even got my dog. The majority of the people love love love my fur baby but some are staring to dislike him. Hes not mean or aggressive. Hes a puppy.
This is a great dog park in a good location. I used to take my two dogs here when I lived over on that side of the beach. the only gripe I have is that there is a large retention pond located in the middle of the park where water moccasins like to layout and sun. I am afraid one day they might move from that pond into the grass where all the dogs play.
Nice shade
Bentley loves playing here.
If your dog lives to socialize and you live at the beach this park is for you! There is an asphalt walking circle with Sandy/grassy playing spaces in the sides. The center is fenced off but you can see into the drainage pond. The pond is clean, thanks to a fountain. There are beautiful birds and water plants. The city empty the conviently places trash cans along the path and poop bags are also supplied.
I mean its great for the dog to run around but it is not kept up very well considering we have to pay a yearly fee now. It is full of dusty dirt and there is barely any grass.
You must get a membership card and access to the park to be able to get in and pay a membership fee
Love it!! Most people are very respectful
Great place for jogging!
It was extremely nice, I just noticed that some of the people there didnt feel as though it was necessary to clean up their animals waste.
The new turf installed makes it nice the the dogs and owners.
Not really sure if this place is still under construction or what but theres not much of a grassy area and places to play ball with your dog. This park consist of a sidewalk that goes around a pond that is fenced in so dogs cant get to IF their owners allow them to swim. Overall, its small and not much room to do anything.
Nice place to take the dogs for a quick walk.
Fun but a little small.
Its one of my favorite pastime
Wonderful!
In from out of town and searched for a public dog park. We arrived to an empty park with locked gates. Nowhere is it posted that a fee is required at this park. I had to look through Google reviews for the information.
Awesomeness
Dog turf installation has been finished!
Nice little dog park
