Jacksonville Beach is beautiful. I love everything about this area. The Jacksonville Beach Pier is one of my favorite Piers. Theres just something special about it. I love walking on this pier. I love the atmosphere. I love the sound of the waves. Overall, its a great experience and Im thankful I had the opportunity to explore this area.

Classic spot. Good place to surf or watch surfers. Under construction but a sight to see the work being done.

Beautiful place! Plenty of seashells to collect. They charge you a few bucks to walk out on the pier. Worth it! The sea is so nice to watch.

Loved it. Nice soft sand and by the pier there is plenty of parking. I can not forget to mention all of the pubs and other stores.

Im handicap and tried to go to the beach and the handicap ramp was not open. Then I was told the next ramp was at the other end of the beach. Can Jacksonville beach please fix the ramp. I come out twice a month just to relax and I can NEVER go down unless someone carry me down the stairs. Yours truly Sabrina

Closed for construction.Stopped here on my road trip from TX. Its a nice beach, not too crowded and mostly everything was open (COVID 19). Ill be honest, I was a bit disappointed on the amount of restaurants/stores/bars that are in the area. I was expecting a touristy atmosphere where you could bar hop and have alot of fun. Instead it was like being in a civilized, family oriented neighborhood.Regardless, its a nice quiet beach thats not too busy or loud.

Amazing day. Whether was great. Life guards on duty. Social distancing in place. It was a vibe. The pier is awesome. Pay $2 and walk the pier right out into ocean.

Clean sands and water. Plenty of space to social distance in the sun. Lifeguards on duty and proactive. Finding parking would be easier with a better app or actual beach designated parking.

Stars indicate anatomically correct pier. Currently, the pier is experiencing shrinkage. Will update once the city erects the full length.

The beach was clean and not crowded, adequate parking, and the waves just right. We will be back.

Really nice beach! Good sand, not to shelly. The waves will get you sometimes so keep an eye out. The pier is closed but its a good beach walk area.

There were sooooooo many people on the beach! Social distancing was in super effect! But it had an awful smell of sulfur in the parking lot upon entering and exiting the beach. We were also attacked by seagulls the funniest thing ever ! The water was great temp and pics came out awesome. It also sucked to have to pay to park next to funky smells we still enjoyed our time because of the impromptu food session on the sand and the chance to dip in the ocean!

We went to see the pier, it was closed due to construction. We still went in the water, it was nice and warm. The beach was super clean.

Jacksonville, Florida is pretty much like a second home to me. Hard to leave and I always go back. This is the pier that was damaged a few years back in one of the hurricanes. They are rebuilding it soon but I was able to get some pretty good pictures while there. A must see at sunrise or sunset. People fish off of it as well.

We wemt at night and it was just amazing! Plenty of off street parking.

Visit for lunch or a swim. Love this place!

Beautiful views down Jax beach and up to Georgia. Nice establishments in the surroundings to include restaurants, hotels, and gift shops. A small and much needed fee for going out onto the pier. Lots of fishermen trying to get their keep, dont swim too close or you will be the keep. Sunrises and sunsets are always beautiful, but catching a ship pulling into port and dolphins jumping are also views seen from here.

Very good atmosphere. Lifeguards on duty. Easy access to food and drinks. Bathrooms (not real clean). Great experience.

Decent, not too busy currently. Obviously there are better spots, but this one is not horrible.

Absolutely love this area. They have a ton of restaurants and events going on throughout the year. Live bands and watching the sunset eating dinner and drinking your favorite cocktails. Feeling the ocean breeze while taking a walk on the pier soaking in the beautiful scenery. I’ve seen a 18-20 foot shark last year. My two year old loves walking the Jacksonville Beach Pier. Highly recommend checking this area out for the experience driving through Jacksonville or want to get out and enjoy some fresh air with the family.

Visiting from Texas. I came to the pier, and paid the $1 entry per person. I was hoping to take some wonderful pics with my husband at sunset. We did, but it was disheartening to learn that the end of the pier was closed for repairs. Regardless, it was beautiful!

The Pier was beautiful. It was closed for construction so we couldnt go on it. But we walked under it and it was very nice. Alot of fisherman down there.

Nice beach with a pier. Even though the weather was great, the beach is not as crowded as I thought. Perhaps it’s crowded during weekends. Good thing parking was free on week days. Paid parking starts on Fridays after 8pm and weekends. I strolled along the beach after an early dinner when the sky still isn’t dark, and it’s good.

Annual Opening of the Beaches Parade 4/2019! Jacksonville Beach, Fl. This is a very nice fun family event. Very sad for me this year, RIP Mr. Jof the (Morocco Shriner) ..... Im so use to hugging and giving my friend dollars at this annual event. We would talk on the phone or sit in his garage the following day and talk about this Annual, Beautiful, Fun, Festive Event.

The beach is great. When the water is not rough you get to see the dolphins constantly popping up here & there which is pretty neat. If you are lucky you will see the large mantra Ray come out of the water & dive back in . The bathrooms at the Jax beach though are disgusting, & I mean gross!!!

Love surfing the North or south side of the pier. Great waves to learn, and perfect form, for a grub (14U) and for my up and coming pro, my nephew! His second season ever and he loves to sunrise surf at the pier, every day -- if alowed... lol

What more can I say but beautiful! Theres no problem that some sun, the beach and palm trees cant fix! A truly relaxing haven that I cant wait to return to!

Nice place to fish from. I didnt like that everyone getting on the pier had to pay $1 but hey Im not coming here every day with my family.

Really nice fresh air while walking in the pier or even fishing! You have to pay $1 if you are a walker and $3 if you are fishing. I loved the place and it worth it.

A gorgeous Florida beach with beautiful white sand and clear blue water. The water was super warm in August and the bridge provided a great back drop for photos on our girls trip

Beach itself and local businesses are great. Paid parking is a bit of a bummer, and the city really needs to do something about the public restrooms.

Jacksonville beach pier,I enjoy a nice walk on these beautiful Atlantic Ocean beach In the northern party of Florida, the water was still cold but the white sand and the sun were on point.

These are the best waffles Ive ever tasted. I still dont understand what is the thing about eating chicken in the morning but it was good. The coffee was great, the place was good and the menu had good variety. I totally recommend this place!

One day the entire pier will reopen but in the meantime our little stump will have to be enough. Wonderful place early at sunrise, but it is a magnet for crowds as the sun sets in the evenings - get there early and bring a hammock

After a good seasons rain and cold, It was beautiful to see so many people enjoying the first feel of summer at the beach. The pier is currently under reconstruction and we anticipate a fantastic renewal. Soon to be included in the disciple group. Pics to come.

Gorgeous views, pretty clean, smells like fish but it is a fishing pier after all. The area around the beach is very nice and touristy.

Very clean. Its cool in the off season but pretty. Our dog is allowed on the beach but has to be on a leash. We all had fun. Definitely reccomend!

In the neighborhood of JAX, and no reason for not visiting the JAX beach, not much people at dusk, and weather is nice. Trying to take couple pictures for sunset and obviously JAX beach if famous for Sunrise... Dusk color is ok and not stunning compared to dawn... sand is fine and smooth and overall very clean.

Different finding parking but when we did their was plenty. There was showers and restrooms but the restrooms were disgusting. It was a short walk to the beach. Clean beach and life guards on duty. Pier was only open part way to the end. Wide sand and great waves the day we were there.

It’s ok. That’s all i can say. I have experienced much better beach compared to this.

Great beach! I went on a Friday morning during the school year so it wasn’t too crowded, and there were no kids. Just good vibes and waves!

Im from Oregon and have only seen our beaches over here. Our sand is really course and yellowish. Our water is SO cold all year round. When I stepped into the white, powdery sand, it felt so soft. I went and stepped into the water, and was so surprised how warm and clear it was. Floridas beach was absolutely beautiful

Beautiful busy beach! Not a lot of parking, so arrive early on the weekends! Loved taking photos under the beach! Just beautiful!

Went with my son, daughter in law, and her grandmother to let their dog play in the ocean for the first time. Monday after 6pm - it wasnt busy. Not really good beach sand, which was great since we were walking.

Water is ok, kinda brown. The beach is beautiful, parking located near the beach and it didnt start to get crowded until about 2.

Beach is okay, water is brown and murky. Pier is run down. When we walked off the beach there was a thug urinating in the middle of the parking lot exposing himself to everyon and others roaming the lot looking into car windows. Crime report for this area is very high when i googled it. Will not be back again!

$1 for walkers and $3 for fishers. Beautiful at sunset!
