Best beach! I love driving on the beach at this beautiful spot. The water is clear, beautiful ever- changing shoreline. Sometimes I get lucky finding great shells, sand dollars and sharks teeth. They provide trash cans all up the beach which is helpful picking up other folks trash. :) occasionally I find discarded fishing gear including hooks, ripped nets, etc. But mostly, this beach rocks!

Hugeunot Tennis Center is a gem of the Jacksonville Beach tennis scene. Located just one block from the ocean and featuring 7 lighted tennis courts, air conditioned tennis center and staffed pro shop, Hugeunot offers players of all levels access to courts, league teams, and instruction. USPTA ELITE tennis coaches offer group clinics as well as private instruction, and are all certified to teach 10 and under quick start tennis (the most enjoyable way to get your little one hooked on the sport). The next time your are near by, stop in and chat. Pro shop hours are from 9am to 12pm and 4pm to 8pm weeekdays and 9am to 5pm weekends.

Beat ocean camping around. Staff is always friendly and helpful.

Good surfing. Fun beach. Good for watching shorebirds and their chicks in the spring. Good fishing. Camp ground is nice but has no shade and can be buggy in the morning and evening. If you camp, you will need lots of bug spray. You can drive on this beach but you should have 4WD. Ive pulled a lot of folks out of the sand here.

This is a great little place to park at Jax Beach. While there are not facilities like at some other beaches, this is fairly easy to access. Our kids love the beach here and as a dad I love that its much closer to town. Plenty of parking is available off 16th.

Found out the hard way you can not drive your vehicle on the beach even though its listed online as a drive on beach. 1 officer understood the misunderstanding but his female partner had a nasty attitude even disregarding our apologies.

Nice little park,tennis courts, playground... Overall very clean, but definitely needs a team to go around a pick up a few piles of trash...

Hundreds of dead, stinky fish lines the beach shore. Came here a month ago and there was dead jelly fish that lined the beach. Even the birds wont touch or eat the fish. Are we safe? Idk!?

Not a happy visitor. We have been going here for years now and this is the first time they have ever done what Im about to tell you and its got me really upset.We didnt get here till 530 but we looked and the website said it closed at 7 . They came at 615 and kicked everyone out of the water . Because the park was closing.. yall close at 7 not 630 . If yall are gonna start kicking people out at 615 yall need to stop letting people in at 530 . Look I work the restaurant seen and we may close at 10 but we arent getting out till 11 or later . Keep your employees on till 8 or change up how you do this this was completely bs

If you got a 4x4 this is the spot to be on the Atlantic coast. Drive up to your choice of beach and have a blast!

I love living at the beach. Its always something to do and the people have been so nice to me and my family. I am a woman of color and the people who told me that I was not going to be excepted and I should look to the North side or maybe the West side to live. I am so thankful that I stayed with my heart. This is a wonderful place. Nice places you cannot drive on the beach and even if you can the sand is real loose and hard to drive in. This place you can drive small car so you dont have to have SUVs and four-wheel drive. They have a small store and a little hot dog hamburger stand type of restaurant. And a campground but the best part is the fishing. The fishing is awesome out on the big jettys. I think camping near several times. The fishing at night in the river is awesome. You can catch fish after fish I caught so many I was finished within an hour. Of course the navy bases across the river. So it must be pretty deep in there. But thats where all the fish come in from the ocean so... If you fish right there incoming tide is awesome outgoing Titus good too. You can even catch fish on dead tide. The camping is simple no electricity or running water. Let you wont regret it. They have plenty of RV spaces and they have Riverside campsites

There are rocks which are fun to climb on and they have a Kona ice truck on the beach

Huguenot Park in Jacksonville Beach is a lake park, not the ocean. Ita great park with tennis courts, basketball courts and a beautiful 3 acre stocked lake. Huguenot Memorial Park is in Jacksonville, thats the ocean park.

Its a bit of a hike from most of Jacksonville, but the beach is one of the cleanest around. Its a good place to spend a day at the beach with your family.

Not only were the courts and facility well-maintained, but the facility personnel were fantastic. They accommodated me as a transient player, invited me for a weekly round robin, although I couldnt attend. If you are looking for a place to play these guys and their facility is top notch.

I always catch fish here.

This is my favorite park in the entire north Florida area! Pond side for fishing, kayaking, windsurfing and paddle boarding and the oveanside for surfing related activities.

Great place for the avid tennis player offering numerous teams and leagues for players of different levels. A full time pro is available for lessons and clinics are additionally offered for groups of two or more. Memberships are available or players can pay a drop in rate.

Peaceful and small. Nice playground. Pretty fountain. We went on a Saturday and it wasn’t busy at all.

So much fun. You can drive on the beach. Check the tides, you can get stuck for a few hours. Great surfing next to the jetty.

A little park by the beach with tennis and Basketball courts and a small picnic area. Old but really well cared for.

Better after the hurricane than before. Facilities are up to date and excellent place to hang out. Close to the beach.

First of all, I had no idea that 16th Ave S in Jacksonville Beach, Florida was considered Huguenot Park. This is my go-to-place when I decide to visit Jacksonville Beach. No complaints about the ocean. Love it.
