A nice place to cool off the summer night with lights show and music! Very reasonably priced snacks, popcorn, drinks. I was hoping to see fireworks show by the end, but it is only available on special holidays.

I havent been here in at least 20 years. I dont know what took me so long. It was so nice and peaceful. What a great late night fun activity for the family.Be sure to go Wednesday night for family night!

Very pretty. Attended a wedding here, it was very beautiful. Chairs will be hot if it’s summer time and sunny so bring a towel to sit on. The water park attached to the area was corded off so we didn’t have random people walking around the ceremony. The parks attached are very pretty as well. All in all very clean organized place to go. Being from Texas this place was a very nice change.

Pet friendly, nice walk. Considerate pet owners, cleaning up after their pets,I am a pet owner, therefore I notice these things. Beautiful park!

Beautiful park in Jackson, Michigan. A piece of Americana, the likes of which we are losing too soon to modernizers. This is a mellow, peaceful place where individuals, friends and families can go and feel comfortable. Wonderful.

Probably the only thing to do in Jackson thats not terribly boring. More of a family thing but also fun to just go and hangout and watch the light show. Its pretty cheap, I believe its 5$ and on their firework night it is 7$. Their firework show is always great!! They do have a concession stand inside but on firework night there are always food trucks. The staff is very friendly and helpful with any questions you have. They did just add in a splash pad so if you have kids they will love it.

We have spent many hours sledding in the winter. Enjoying the falls in the summer with the music and light show and fireworks. Weve watched the geese, walked around the area and stopped for ice cream cones. Weve been enjoying the area for years!

Nice park but expected a natural waterfall and not what was there and not flowing at the time. :-(

I have lived in Jackson my whole life and I still think the falls are beautiful when they are lit up. I wish they would add more to the park, they have added some things for little kids, but everything cost to get in. I remember back when there were batting cages and putt putt and paddle boats and ice skating, now all of that is gone

This philanthropic gift to the City of Jackson never grows old. With the twilight at dusk with colored uplights illuminating the falls, it makes for a wonderful experience set to music.

We went on Labor Day and the fireworks show was incredible. My grandkids love the color waterfalls and music. We have come back every year.

Drove 2 1/2 hours round trip and falls that advertised as open were not open

Driving past and through Jackson you would not think its a nice place but I think everybody should go to this park it is just a beautiful place a specially for being in Southern Michigan I wouldnt necessarily say the spring is edible due to the fact that its just a lot of rust but its all right if youre into high rust content theres butter Springs up north

This is a great place to visit in the summer when they have the water flowing and the lights on! Beautiful walking park and sled hill when there is snow.

My family just loves this place. Cascades has so much to offer for every season. There are trails to walk, playground equipment, big hills to sled down. The Splash Pad to cool off in. And always a great fireworks show for the holidays. Who cant enjoy the beautiful color changing falls. Great family friendly place. Cant forget the wonderful ice cream place. All of it, is located in the same place. So if your looking for a day of fun Cascades is the place to go.

You have your choice of walking around the falls (be prepared to get a little wet). And listening to the music and watching the colors of the falls change. It is Beautiful. People drive from all over the U.S. to see the falls. Kids water park to come Summer of 2017. Wednesday night entertainment draws crowds that appreciate local musicians. Affordable for family with kids of all ages. Cascades is always doing something to keep the family entertained. We went on princess night and the girls loved it. The Falls are fun for all ages, and the stairs are great for some exercise. Do be prepared to get a bit damp, especially if there is a breeze.

Simple, historic and yet romanric place to be with love ones. I really enjoyed this chill experience.

Best night filled with fun.

I have a personal connection to this place. My great Uncle helpwd do the electrical engineering on the original build of the Cascades. I used to come here as a child and marvel at the beauty of them. B back then it was an open park and you could just walk up and down the steps and there were no fences or admission fees. I was very sorry to see they decided to add fencing and also now charge admission to really enjoy the actual cascades feature. No longer a public attraction, but still a nice park overall with lots of spaces to enjoy

Great to revisit the falls, the facility looked good and i like to see it once again without the prison wall. Crowd was small but it was Sunday night, light show and music were okay, but walking around during the show was not great. Overall we had fun but would like to be able to hear the music while walking around, and the lights should be on for a longer period of time so walkers can see something more the flases of light.

Just ran the JA Grand Prix today. Grew up in this park and now take my kids to this park. Has so much to offer. Something for literally everyone. Plus the World Famous Cascade Falls. Always cool to check out. The kids usually love it.

These falls have been around a while and their age is beginning to show. However, its a pretty cool niche thing to do if youre in the Jackson area, and they put together a great choreographed program! Its certainly worth checking out and our kids loved it too.

Great park with paved walking paths, playgrounds, splash pad, band shell, and fishing pond, and huge sledding hill for winter. The Cascades themselves are a manmade waterfall with lights and music - a bit dated, but still kind of fun. They have decent fireworks in the summer and other family events. Sometimes I see Disney characters roaming around during the Cascades show. Theres an awesome Eagle Tree near the top of Cascades Hill that I like to take photos with. They do have a messy goose problem, but theres nothing to be done for that aside from culling the flock, and Im not sure many people really want to go that far. The babies sure are cute.

We came here 40 years ago with my family, and now are here with our kids and grandkids. Family friendly fun! Love that they added the splash park! Fireworks on the 4th of July are a must see, too!

Only been here once but it was for a fireworks show and I wasnt disappointed. Everyone should go to an event here atleast once!

Its my go to place when I need to get away from snarky neighbors at Arbor View Estates. And the ice cream is YUMMY.

It was amazing. We enjoyed a reggae Band, the splash pad, Sponge Bob, Patrick, Squidword, the fountains display and then a light display along with till 11 PM. There is a gift shop, a little Museum, a huge park & sand box ans another across the street. There is a confessions stand and an Ice creme shop !! Our kids loved it. 126 stairs to the top !!

Might be time to consider bench seating. I feel like a parent at my childs parent/teacher conference, sitting in those tiny desks in the classroom. Very uncomfortable. And for about half the population in America... Impossible.

One of the best parks in Jackson. I love seeing the falls at night. Its a place you must bring the family.

Alot of stairs to climb. Definitely wait for the night time for any of the falls lights to show up. Great musical experience. Bright and flashy adrenaline rush.

Great park lots of fun things for the kids to do always pretty clean and lots of space to do things with the family too. There are area with grills and gazebos for family events as well. Cascades ice cream has great ice cream flavors and al sorts of treats. And the falls and the new splash pad make for some good family outings too. All in all there is stuff to do at cascades all year around with the hill also making a great place to sled in the winter. Definitely a must for those with kids and or looking for a good place or park for family activities

Have loved this place since I first went there as a child. It is so amazing to see and walk through.

This park has been a part of our community for years. There is so much space to run and play. Not to mention my kids favorite part the sledding hills. Wish theyd bring back paddle boats. Beautiful park to walk/run also.

Grew up with the Cascades. Sledding in the winter and renting paddleboats in the summer. The falls were the bonus! The park has only become better over the years and such a part of Jackson!

Great place to watch the colorful cascading water fall, amenities include a souvenir shop and historical museum of the park, as well as a snack shop, as well as music.

Theres nothing like an evening spent in the park walking around, playing, getting ice cream. Then watch the cascades light and music program is one of a kind!

Lovely, especially in the spring. Watch out for over-protective mother geese with their adorable goslings. They hiss viciously and leave a lot of goose droppings on the path. Its a fairly safe place to allow for kids to bike and run on the path and play at the playground.

Great fun at splash pad for everyone. Take our grandkids as often as possible. Everything is reasonable including food!!!!

I love this place, a mainstay from my childhood and then lived blocks away for a big part of my adult life. I could hear the music from my back yard on summer nights.

Beautiful park with walking/biking trail. Water! sometimes kayaks and canoes are available. Ice cream shop! Delicious. Very kid-friendly. Parking is dicey, but once you get in youll enjoy the nature.

This is a nice little park. I like the path that walks around the lake. It is great for walking, walking the dog, running, etc. There are usually ducks and geese on the pond in summertime. There are plenty of nice spots to have a picnic lunch here or you could swing by the ice cream shop for a snack. The playground is great for kids. The large hill is a fun sledding spot in winter. The falls themselves are a nice little place to visit on a warm night! It is pretty to see them light up and change color. You can walk up to the top of the falls to get a different and nice view, I suggest doing this if you never have.

The falls are beautiful! HAVE been going there for over 50 years.
