It’s absolutely beautiful. A must see for anyone coming to visit our beautiful state.
This is where the turn coat traderTate Reaves lives, for a short time
Very much a sense of depth in history, in that magical way only being starstruck can give you. Being there makes you feel like you somehow own a little piece, that you could belong there.
Beautifully decorated for Christmas. The Bryants were very gracious.
Loved visiting here. Such history and elegance.
I walked around the faculty. It looked close. Its was an okay site seeing. Not a lot of information about the house when I got close to it on the street.
Well worth the tour. We learned alot about President Jackson and his beloved wife. He was truly a gracious host in his TN home.
Beautiful home. Great hostess. Ms. Debra Bryant invited us to walk through the home and allowed us to view all rooms. Pimento and cheese sandwiches were the best. Tuna sandwiches are second to none. Homemade for sure. Chocolate chip cookies, oh my goodness.
Great tour and history. It is free and well worth the time to learn more about the local story.
If you have never been inside, they give fabulous tours and the furnishings and stories are worth a trip.
Friendly and knowledgeable docent, Brenda Cole. Beautifully decorated. Had a wonderful tour.
I’ve been there several times in my life. First time as a brownie to tour it. I’ve had teas there. This year I went with the Republican Women for a tea. The home is beautiful!!! So glad our Governor and First Lady get to call it home.
We showed up for the 9:30 tour and found we were the only two there. Our guide, Becky, was warm, inviting and very knowledgeable. The mansion itself is beautifully restored and the period appropriate furnishings are meticulously maintained. The tour was free. Definitely a worthwhile hour spent.
Been going there since cliff finch and is a great place with lots of history
Sad there is no admission. Would be great to see the inside.
I loved this tour I went on yesterday morning, March 2016. The host was very knowledgeable and friendly. Everything was beautiful. Would very much recommend, plus its free!
Lets Just Say I hope Hood Wins!!!
Guy that lives here is a real jerk. I don’t know what his deal is but he’s super offensive and seems to hate anyone not of his own race or sexual orientation. Would not recommend. Building and yard is very pretty. But current tenant is just awful.
Beautiful old mansion. Thankful for the governors opening for Christmas tours.
I hang out there all the time. They have really good cheap old fashioned suits. And similar views. Watch your wallet while there.
A part of History not to be desturbed! Here The Tour is awesome! PROUD MISSISSIPPIANS.
Very well done, great guide
It is beautiful.
Great short tour with knowledgeable guide.
It was soo good to see the place
Awesome! We met Governor Bryant!
Good and interesting but would be nice to be able to take photos
I think i probably passed there on the street. Ive heard theres tours but I doubt it. I would assume if their were most schools would take their kids. Most people i see around there are usually outside the gates taking pictures for posterity or photography classes.
Awesome place, if you love Mississippi, you need to check it out.
Couldnt get in to tour, but an outstanding building and grounds.
Nice place for visit.
