Beautiful place. Great community.

I used to come to St. Marys for the Latin Mass when I was a kid with my mom and Grandma. My recent visit was to light a candle for them both since they have since passed on. I no longer live in Indiana but was nice to see that St. Marys is still here and although it is in need of some restoration it’s still a beautiful cathedral.

Very beautiful church built in mid 1800s, has Spanish mass on weekends. Structure needs a little TLC, they currently have a capital campaign to raise funding for the repairs needed. Worthy campaign in our own downtown.

Great church have been attending since I was a little girl. I have always admired the parish and how hard they work on church events and how they always do their best to keep the church clean there is a bathroom at the entrance and on in the back. Free parking but fills up fast and they also have wheel chair ramp. Only thing that kept me from giving 5 stars was the receptionist at the parish office, I along with my boyfriend are teen parents and when we went to ask about baptizing our son there she seemed very judgmental asking questions about we are going to care for an infant if were so young and alot of other questions about our income and our families reaction to our child. That was 2 years ago and I have not been to the church since due to that incident so i do not know if its the same receptionist that is there now or not. I will be returning to this church soon other than that incident I have always enjoyed being a part of this church
