This is one of the nicest parks I have been to. Gone here yesterday with my sibblings and Dad to meet a family friend. Compared to the parks at our side of town, this park is a 10 out of 10 for everything! Everything is nicely maintained and there was no trash or litter. There was some amazing trails, too! Made sure to take some photos!

This park is great for so many different reasons. There are a few high quality playgrounds with enough variations to keep any kid occupied for hours. They have walking paths and a the famous ruins. Come here in the fall or spring for some amazing family photos.

We have been going for years. Fall hikes are the best. The foliage, fewer bugs, and the temperatures are perfect. The nature center is wonderful for k-5 kiddos. Even older kiddos enjoy it. Great trails for beginner to advanced hikers. Playground and gazebo for covered picnicking.

This is a popular park so you wont be getting away from people when youre here. But if youre ok with that, youll find a fun nature center and the awesome play areas for kids, as well as nice trails that are short enough for kids that lead down to river banks suitable for creek stomping. There are also lots of green spaces for throwing down a blanket and relaxing.

We visited the park for the first time and loved it! There are some hiking trails that go along the White River, a great playground, and a nature center. We didn’t have time to check out the nature center, but we will be back to enjoy this gem in the city of Indianapolis.

This is a beautiful park. My dog Turner and I had a great time investigating. I noticed a large childrens playground, covered building with cool mural and picnic tables in the open. The park is well utilized with a ruins project going on. Im new to this part of town and am pleased to have my tax dollars help fund it!

Really neat park. Free for all dusk till dawn. Unique stone architecture, during the summer the fountain is usually on and quite impressive. Towards the back of the park they have an educational nature building, along with associated trails, most of which go towards the river. Trails 4 is well shaded and very popular. Overall great experience for all. Wear shoes you want to get wet.

Beautiful park with wonderful trails down to the river. The park is well kept and the ruins are beautiful to see. I highly recommend the park whether you just need a place to relax, a nice hike, or are looking for a spot to take photos. I do wish there was more shady places to sit near the ruins, but there are so many other places to sit and explore. Enjoy the park!

This is a beautiful park. Though it is small (94 acres or so) there are 3.5 miles of trails winding through the woods. There is a garden as well as the Ruins (a building that was razed in NYC and the facade, build of limestone from Indiana, was brought to the park). There is also a nature center, but unfortunately it was closed to the pandemic.

Been coming here for decades, trails are excellent, park is clean, son liked the playground, not too crowded, well maintained, people are very positive here including the guests. I don’t like the renovations of their monument that much but it’s now more accessible to everyone to enjoy which is good.

Alot of work has gone into this park over the last 5 years. The playgrounds are very clean and large. There are extensive trails that are in the back of the park all throughout the woods, some easy, some challenging, and alot to explore. The trails lead down to the white river and give u direct access to the trails that continue the river edge farther into the city. With big open fields and newly renovated statues this is a great park to bring the family for a day of relaxing fun. Bring your roomate to throw some passes or play Frisbee. Even great for a day date to walk and talk.

Wed heard of Holliday Park, but in the few years weve lived here, we hadnt taken the opportunity to explore until today. We took advantage of the rock garden path to start our walk through the woods.
