This was the first time we were experiencing theater in the US and it was pretty good. The theater is located in the North-East of Indianapolis in Lawrence. However, it is not too far.The theater itself would have a seating capacity of about 250-300 folks, so it is not very large and hence, you get the experience of watching the performance quite closely. The seating is fairly comfortable. The stage is not very large, especially in terms of depth, but good enough for stand-up shows like the one we watched - Shadowland Show. The theater itself doesnt have any other amenities, except for the restrooms. During the interval, the food available for purchase was mainly sodas, chips, and biscuits. Nothing fancy. There is a free parking ground, right opposite to the theater. There are a couple of cafes and sandwich shops like Panera Bread and Subway, less than a mile away.Overall, a decent theater to enjoy the time.
This place is awesome! Staff is nice and programming is great. Typical community project that you can see is growing and getting better and better...100% recommended
What an awesome theater! Great shows at a great price for date night, family fun, girls night out! Theater tickets would be a very nice gift for Valentines Day.
Very nice performance of You cant take it with you. These kids were great. My mother and I really enjoyed the show. We laughed alot. Great job! !
Great access for wheelchairs.. But needs a curb cut at front entrance for best ease.
What a fun event. Went to see Perry Haughter. There are several obstructed views but otherwise the venue was perfect.
Very quaint! Love the atmosphere! Get there early, no reserved seats!
Awesome little theater for any needs
Quaint, little theatre. Perfect for dance recitals & small company theatre groups.
Very nice venue. Close to the stage. Staff was very helpful and welcoming. Loved the play as well.
GREAT shows at small theater!! Best kept secret would do better if they advertised Staff is COOL 2 ALL!
My daughter had a fantastic performance here in Perry Haughter.
Charm, charm, charm...this theater is full of nostalgia from nearly 100 years ago. It is not fancy like The HIlbert Circle Theater or The Palladium, but you are also not paying those admission costs. It is a small and up close experience with the performers. Car door to entrance door in a minute or two, and approx 200 comfortable seats. It was my privilege to have volunteered there when it first re-opened, and have been a fan ever since.
Good venue for stage events. May want to sit on the outside rows for optimal viewing.
First time experiencing that type of entertainment and loved it
Enjoyable Classical Guitar concert!
Very small and waiting to enter was very uncomfortable and hot.
Small Theater, Great for Arts. Acpella group one voice a group of Ladies wonderful performance.
This small theater does not seem to have a bad seat in the house. The seating is comfortable, the stage is a decent size for a cast of 35 or less, the foyer is adequate, though a bit small for winter intermissions.
The play was really good
Such a great, intimate performance venue!
They have a wonderful kids art camp in the summer!
Outstanding shows and venue!
Great show. Nice venue!
The play GodSpell was very good.
Not a bad seat in the house!
Not a bad seat in the house!
Great show, but the poor quality sound system just about ruined the performance, particularly when the worst mic was on the lead.
Cute little theatre.
Wonderful small theater.
So proud to work here!
