Have tried a few different escape rooms in Downtown Indy and definitely enjoyed this one! They add a point system element to the game to make it even more competitive. COVID protocols in place so that we did not have to come in contact with anyone outside of our 4-person group. Would highly recommend the James Bomb room - you get handcuffed at the beginning!

Lots of fun with friends. We did Mr. Dupree’s Office and had fun tearing apart the room looking for clues. I think Escape Indy has done a good job with the setup of room. Our room supervisor was fun and friendly, and gave an adequate amount of clues when we were baffled. Definitely would recommend above a competitor escape room we have tried in which everything malfunctioned, so I hesitated to do another one, but Escape Indy definitely delivered especially during this “interesting” time.

Our family of four had a great experience in Mr Duprees office. Kaitlyn was an amazing host! Seriously one of the best times that Ive had with my family in years!

The entire experience was great. The staff was friendly. We had a great time. We escaped the room, but the sign said we failed. We didnt notice until we got the picture.

I was really impressed with this establishment. While their method of grading was a bit different than other escape rooms, it allowed us to get more clues and escape at the LAST SECOND! We had a ton of fun and got to bond. Great team building opportunity as well as an opportunity for fun with friends.

My family and I went a few weeks ago and had a great experience! We all loved it and had a great time coming up with clues together. Definitely something to do with the family for quality bonding!

We have done two escape rooms at Escape Indy and have had a great time both times. The staff is friendly. The rooms have been intriguing making the whole experience like an adventure. Both rooms we’ve done have had “awwww!” moments when you discover a very unexpected hidden area or even a room. It has created some great memories. I would highly recommend checking this place out.

One of the best escape rooms weve been to! Weve done Mr. Duprees and James Bomb, both of which have been a blast. I like the scoring system they use, and the employees have always been very friendly and engaging. Im excited to do their 3rd room and look forward to any more rooms that come up.

Played James Bomb room with coworkers and the game masters were amazing. They were super interactive and engaging from the intro to the room and theme all the way to us leaving. Loved the experience and look forward to coming back!

My group of 4 just finished Mr. Duprees room and it was such a fun time. Scheduling our reservation was very easy and Trent was wonderful welcoming us and explaining our task. Our group had ages ranging from 10-45 and 2 had tried an escape room once before while the other two had not. The room was challenging and fun. We will definitely be back again.

It was a lot more fun than we expected! And pretty tough! The gal running it the night we were there was obviously into it and really nice. We will be back :)

Absolutely amazing!! Emily is strongly recommend on being ur helper/actor/game master. Super fun! We did the hardest ones and only one of use had ever done an escape you and passed it!!!

Had so much fun with my fellow workers playing space! I would highly propose anyone to try this place out. I will most likely come in again for a challenge!

I went with a friend to celebrate her Birthday and had a great time. We didnt make it out alive but it gave us an idea for how to complete the next room when we visit again. The staff was great and played their parts. I visited the one on Market St. I reccomend everyone in the group splitting up in two if a larger group and checking everything...

Fantastic fun! Came here with our church group and we all enjoyed it. Only two of us had ever been in an escape room before. Our group was large enough for three rooms, so we split up and three adventures were experienced. Hope we are able to go back again. The performers/guides that get you started are wonderful and really add to the fun. Thanks guys!

There was another group doing a room right before us and it took them forever to get them going. We were about 30 minutes late getting started. The actual room wasnt bad even though there was a couple of technical difficulties.

This was a unique experience! I’ve never done an escape room where you are scored on your performance. We did the James Bond room and it was quite challenging but lots of fun. Thanks Matt for all the help we sure needed it on this room.

First of all, I have to give it up for the staff. The guy who checked us in was extremely fun, and really got into the character when he introduced us to the theme.Second, the escape room itself is amazing! We did the hardest one, and I was amazed at some of the stuff they had in the room. Without giving away much, their props are excellent and they make great use of technology. This place has a pretty cool points system and allows for unlimited clues (at a cost of points), making the experience even more fun.If I’m ever in town and want to go an escape room again, I know I’m coming here to try one of their other rooms!

I cannot stress how happy I am with our trip to Escape Indy. From the very beginning to the very end, the team was absolutely wonderful. I had Groupon tickets for 6, and wanted to have a family member use 4 more groupons so that we could all be in the same room together. I had family coming from out of state and other family coming from northern Indiana, so that we could all do a mission together. Matt had been emailing with me back and forth. He was very helpful and was quick with responses, and I think quick and helpful communication gets taken for granted in the world we live in, so to have him help me get things settled for all 10 of us was very appreciated.The day finally came, and I am very happy that Christian was there to greet us and to be our help. Christian was EXTREMELY accommodating as a few of us were late. After we all arrived and were ready to go, my mom began to have the shakes, and he told her he had no problem waiting if she needed to run over to Subway next door to get a cookie or chips to help with her sugar. He was the perfect employee to be paired with. He was extremely patient, friendly, and played the part so well. It was obvious that he loved his job.We had a blast. We did not end up escaping the room, but he showed us how close we actually were.We will definitely be back. Both team members made the trip so enjoyable. Thank you, Matt and Christian!!

We came to Escape Indy for a team out from work. None of us had done an escape room yet so this was our first time and man was it worth it and fun. We ended up doing Mr. Duprees Office and it was a great intro to the escape room fad that seems to be taking over. The GM was Matt and he was very helpful and really described how everything would work perfectly. The room itself was awesome with a lot of things to look in, around, behind, and even some hidden gems put in there to really get you thinking. I will say this. THAT HOUR GOES BY FAST! We ended up with about 14 minutes left but it feels like time is just flying by but I guess since we were having such a great time it was to be expected. I cannot recommend Escape Indy enough and I cannot wait until our next outing to possible come again and knock out another room.

Super fun! Keeps you on your toes and requires lots of teamwork! Went with a group of friends and we got down to the very last clue before our timer was up. It was definitely an experience worth while. Do it once and youll want to do it again for sure!

Firstly, half the stuff didnt work, secondly dorie wrote on her paper calling us names. When I seen it and asked her about it she lied and then finally admitted to it. Claiming it was towards the men of our group. Thirdly, the insect juice leaked all over my hand. The label said it was hazardous. Im all around unhappy about our visit. We will not be back.

It was my first time doing an escape room, and had a very good time. We did one of the easy ones, and next time one a little harder. Looking forward to it. Highly recommend.

I would definitely love to go back and try out another room, as this was my first ever escape room. I highly would recommend!

Had a blast at Escape Indy! Celebrated my birthday with friends in Dr. K’s Lethal Injection. The lobby was decorated nicely, was clean and had activities to kill time while you waited for your session. The lobby host Christian, was warm and welcoming. The room was extremely difficult and Trent was an expert Game Master. There were a few technical issues with the room but we were given adequate time to cover for them. The atmosphere was nice and the experience was more immersive than I expected. Afterwards, Trent went above and beyond and gave us a preview of another room that we had interest in. Overall highly highly recommended company for an exciting time! Book today because they fill up fast!

Fun for all ages. Very challenging puzzles that test your problem solving skills. Your group will leave energized and talking about the game for hours after.

We went to Escape INDY this past weekend. The room was incredible-challenging, but a lot of fun. While we didnt make it out, we are forever grateful to the gentleman that was our host for making it incredibly fun. (we couldnt remember his name, but he was working LATE Saturday night (8/18), as we were the last group).We will DEFINITELY be back!!!! :D

The rooms here are fantastic. Friendly, fun staff great puzzles that fit their theme, and well-maintained rooms. We all loved the Lethal Injection room, and also really enjoyed our advanced-screening / beta of their new space-themed room. We tried one other escape room company in Indianapolis, and we all preferred this one (Escape INDY).

First time to a place like this. Four star only because it wasnt the most professional of places which made it a little difficult to get into the mission. Nevertheless, the staff was great and we had a lot of fun! Oh yeah, the 9 of us did escape with a whopping 3 minutes to spare!

I am a big fan of escape rooms and appreciated how Escape INDY differentiated themselves with the point system. The room had new puzzles that I hadnt seen before, which is always a plus.

Had a blast with the family. We did Mr. Duprees office with Matt as our special agent in charge. The room was fantastic - we had a 9 year old with us and there was plenty for him to do as well. It was difficult, but not so much so that we did not enjoy ourselves - this has happened to us in the past. I will recommend in the future and you will definitely be seeing us again!

So much fun and the staff was great!!! A lot harder than what I was expecting, but not in a bad way! A challenge is always good and we weren’t sober either granted we did make it out with five minutes or less to spare!

We did the Mr. Durpre mission. I won’t spoil the fun. I’ll just say the clues made sense. I’ve done an escape room that didn’t make sense and you had to randomly clues together that only made sense if you worked backwards. I’d recommend doing it with a larger group who you know. I’m not sure if it would have been as fun with people we didn’t know.

March 2019 Great Girls Night Out activity. Sean was an excellent detective host and took his role and role playing seriously to set the tone of the event. We booked the entire room activity in Mr. Dupree’s Office for our group of 10 ladies. This was among more challenging rooms I’ve done and the room had fun and unique props. Everyone got to participate- it was truly a team effort. Sean’s clues were well timed and not obvious and we did it! Escaped with 1.5 minutes to spare!!Update May 31, 2019Second game! James Bomb is da bomb! Excellent room! We had 10 ladies for a girls night out and escaped with a little more than 3 minutes to spare. Definitely a lot of tricks and challenges in this room and quite a few unexpected surprises. A few members of your crew should be a bit limber for this room, nothing too crazy but a little bending or climbing is needed. Loved this room and Caitlyn was a great Mission Operator. This is our second mission at EscapeIndy (Mr Dupree’s office is fun, too!). Highly recommend EscapeIndy. They have trunks where you can lock your valuables up and hold on to the key and the venue itself is locked from the outside so ring the bell upon arrival.

This is the best escape room Ive ever done! Our astaria mission was unbelievable! I lucked out and was able to join a super fun family as just a solo agent. Geordyn our mission producer was fantastic! We got out with just a minute to spare! Will be back!

Fun experience but compared to other escape rooms such as Austin this one is lacking.

We paid for the James Bomb escape room. We were about 10min away from the room being over (Which everyone knows thats a good amount of time). We were trying to solve a certain part of the puzzle, but the code was not working on one of the locks. We were given a clue, and we eventually were given the code, but the code would not open the lock. We tried to tell our room supervisor that the code was incorrect and that it was not working. Eventually time ran out, and we had our supervisor try to open it with the code, but she could not get it open. We were also told another part of the room was not working as well as she was about to explain everything. We were told the general manager would call us first thing tomorrow to see what she can offer us. A whole day goes by, and we call the establishment. We were told the General Manager left for the day at 2pm, and she never communicated with us at all. We called the 3rd day, and we were able to get a hold of her, but she had no clue who we were at all (Even after 2 employees leaving her phone calls and texts). We eventually said we were the ones with the broken room, and she pretended she was about to call us. She explained the situation and believes we made the box Malfunction when we didnt do anything to it besides trying to open it with the code. She would give us $10 off per person for the same room and our score would not be on the leader boards. She didnt offer us another room, nor did she offer the room free to do it again. The management connected to this establishment is a joke. The non-managers were a great experience to deal with, but when it comes to their manager. Dont expect anything great.
