My three kids and I went to Post Road Rec this past weekend and had a WONDERFUL time... It was our first time and the escape room was absolutely decked out and spooky for Halloween but still family friendly. Arcades, go karts, pizza and the sweetest staff. Since it was our first time one of the employees and perhaps even a manger, Janie was just in the spirit and showed my kids around and explained how the haunted house and escape rooms worked (my six year old was a little nervous) and she just went over and above to make sure everyone in the family had fun and was taken care of. We will definitely be back and not just this month but year round. Thank you Post Road Rec for a great Saturday evening!!!

Great fun! Challenging puzzles, but we escaped!

Go-karts... thats what got me in the door. The tracks seemed kind of small but fun, its go-karts! My kids had a fun time so I left satisfied.

Fun,friendly service. Facility was clean and everything was working. They have putt putt, an arcade,go carts and escape rooms. The good is pretty good decent variety. I have had birthday parties there that have been great I would recommend if you already been everywhere to do a childrens party. The staff is polite but not very helpful at times but not enough to make you not come back.

Great atmosphere! Ive done 8 of the rooms and I enjoyed them all. Staff was courteous and accommodating. Fewer puzzles than some other places, but they more than make up for that with the ambiance and dedication to themes of each room!

We stop in every year when we come up for thr 3 hour figure 8 race. The banked kart track always has us smiling and laughing. Great old school fun.

Great Place! Everybody up there is friendly. They work hard to keep everything moving up there at a fast pace and long enough to enjoy it.I paid 2 hour past and I thought it was worth every dollar up there. I will be coming back for years to come. Just such a fun place

This place was awesome when I was a kid, now its ghetto and barely hanging on.

We went here for my daughters birthday instead of driving to great times, which is where we usually go. We all enjoyed ourselves however the employees are way to laid back about keeping safety has a concern. My son who was riding with my husband in a double cart was struck on purpose by another driver which caused him to hit his chin on the steering wheel and it immediately bruised up. People were allowed to start and stop at their leisure which meant anyone could of been hit by a car trying to exit the track. And actually an employee was hit while trying to start a car. I went over to check on him since no one else thought it was important enough to do do and his words were they never care they think its funny. I think the young girl working outside was more worried about flirting with her co-workers than working. They stood around eating and drinking and playing on their phones. There needs to be a better training program at this facility. It could be a great local place but unfortunately its going to turn into a hangout for trouble makers and be shut down.

Go karts are fun. Mini golf has seen better days.

Ive been here twice. The staff is very respectful and the rooms are definitely worth it. I recommend Shackle Hall or the Wine Cellar Terror.

Truly passionate owners. It is a priceless experience when individuals have their heart deeply rooted in what they do. I was given an awesome tour of the facility and I encourage anyone to do visit this location for a fun and honest good time!

As my family turned the corner onto Post Rd, we were greeting by the bright flashing lights of a fire truck and a fire rescue truck. Needless to say, we approached with apprehension. Another ominous sign would be the full slice of pizza and the Styrofoam cup in the parking lot as if some one needed to set them down to answer their phone, but forgot to pick it up again. My 10 year old daughter was unenthusiastic to say the least, but we laid the decision to stay and play or load and go on the shoulders of our 4 year old son.Entering the building we were awash in the epilepsy inducing light show common among similar recreational facilities and all the sounds of Vegas style fun only a token away. Strategically placed at the back of the game room was the prize booth and point of purchase. We didnt have to wait long before one of the lively, especially considering the time of night that we arrived, workers came to our service, though it was enough time for us to decipher that for $6 we could ride a go cart for 5 minutes, this included in our case two double seated cars, since our daughter was too timid to drive and our son too short to reach the pedals.$26 dollars later (4 rides plus a $2 fee for using a card) we were subjected to an experience that can only be described as good old fashion family fun. The 5 minutes seemed to stretch on as we raced around the outdoor track. My son would tap me on the shoulder only to scream with delight as we were passed by one of the other racers. In our second race our daughter broke through her initial reluctance and took the wheel like she was born to it. Well, like she knew which direction to drive at least. In 6 years I pray that she mellows out some, as she pushed the limits of the absolutely no bumping rule.By the end of the night the four of us were sore and tired and we earned every bit of it as we had a great time. On our way out, a girl from another family that raced with us came up to us to tell us we all did a great job on the track. Good sportsmanship, in a kid. Wow! Will we be returning?Definitely.

We did the wine cellar and it was so much fun. One of the creepiest, most challenging escape rooms ive ever been in. From start to finish every detail is perfect!

Took my son for his 13th birthday. I go to the desk the lady says for 4 different events I could pay $22 for 2 hours. While at the desk the lady puts a bracelet on me and said we are trying these out. Your a test monkey. Honestly I was offended at the accusation, but it was my sons birthday so I bit my tongut. After an hour we try to go to miniature golf. The owner tells me that the $22/2 hour is only for the go karts. I felt completely deceived. She said well if you go somewhere else its more expensive to ride go karts, so Im doing you a favor. I said you flat out lied to my face and took my money under false pretense. I spent $150 to ride the go-karts 2 times.

We loved the experience Nothing fancy just a good time. These places are hard to maintain and I think overall it is was great.

Did the prisoners of war escape room and it was pretty fun. Did go karts afterwards. It wasnt too busy so we were able to stay in the tracks with minimal stops using a stamp. Only complaint was the mini golf course where everyones ball ended up in the same place.

We went there and played a few games. Then we went to the indoor go carting track. No rules at all about helmets being worn at all. Overall the games were good but the Go carting was horrible.

Hilariously bad. Shamelessly offers goodies to people for leaving good reviews- hence so many fake 5-star reviews on here. Everything is broken- about 1/3 of the games, half of the mini-golf holes are unplayable. Dirty.

The mini golf area was in such a sad state of disrepair we would have been better off chasing a golf ball around a rock quarry. There was less weeds, broken glass, and crumbling concrete in the parking lot, and thats not saying much. If the lights were not on, I would have guessed this place ws abandoned 15 years ago.

They dont serve alcohol, and turned my group into the cops when we went to the parking lot for a beer and took our money, we were only there for for 20 mins how convenient.

Really neat place got a cool haunted maze that they use as a laser tag course and just about everything else that a normal arcade would not have (or around here anyway)

This place is horrible. My friends and I went there and did the 2 hour wrist bands... After buying the bands, and being told that putt putt came with the wrist band, the (rude) woman at the desk said that it was an extra two dollars to do putt putt... Okay... we paid... First, the putt putt was horrible, the balls ALWAYS rolled to the sides, the green was torn/dirty, the putters horrible/broken. The carts were in horrible condition. Some were much faster than others.One of my biggest reasons for going here was because they had lazer tag. Excited, my friends and I grabbed our guns, and ventured in. The lazer tag arena was pathetic. The size of it was very small. It was narrow, very dark, and group members kept walking into walls.I will never come to this place again.

A group of friends and I went to check out the escape room. It was very unorganized and reeked of cigarettes the entire time. I have only been to one other escape room ( breakout games in castleton). THEY WERE FANTASTIC! Your place has room for improvement. Check out other escape rooms to make improvenents! There was WAYYYYY too many props, and we wasted 20 min looking for a key that didnt exist. We asked questions aND were ignored so we chose to do as we pleased....then was yelled at for CHEATING lol...we had NO IDEA what the plot of the game was....we went to the shackle room. We wont be going back ANYTIME SOON!! THANKFULLY we used a GROUPON making it 15 per person. Total waste of $$ in my opinion. We would have NEVER made it out.

I wouldnt recommend this place to anyone. I had my sons party here and it was thee worst experience I have ever had. The staff were very rude one accused me of stealing tokens after I paid for the birthday package most of the games didnt even work and when it was time to ride the go carts they only had two double seaters. I was told we would be able to do indoor go carting because this was a party for a younger age group and all the parents would have to ride with their child and we couldnt even do that.I was told all lies we had to ride outside in the cold in 40 degree weather with 5-10 year olds and one of the kids split her mouth open because of their broken seat belts and the didnt even see if she was ok.I also paid for two attractions for nine kids and after everyone FINALLY got a chance on the go carts no one wanted to go again and they wouldnt even refund me for the other attraction none of the kids use DONT WASTE YOUR TIME OR YOUR MONEY!!!!!

I Used to love this place. Still okay place always room for improvment.

I used to go there all the tkme for the putt putting and llay some of the games there. Lately, almost all the decent games there are broken. Pretty much the only working were a handful of racing games, a skeeball, and the basketball game didnt have a stopper so you could basically juat shoot baskets all night withit paying. The young girl at the counter was also very rude to another customer she was helping.

Fun. Got a great price using Groupon.

DANGEROUS! IF YOU VALUE YOUR KIDS LIVES DO NOT TAKE THEM HERE.I cant even give one star because it was so incredibly terrible. My family and I went and got unlimited go karts, lazer tag and miniature golf. Lazer tag was more like little kids playing pretend, putt putt was run down and we couldnt play a couple holes with out the course its self getting in the way. A couple of the holes were blocked, so you couldnt play them. however the worst was the fact that they would allow such reckless drivers behind the wheel. even full grown men and women making it uncomfortable for teenagers and young kids and even adults to have fun, ramming into their cars, saying inappropriate things to children and even pushing them into rails. Even when mentioned to the staff and the manager nothing was done about it. awful experience never going back. Either things get better or they need to shut down for the safety of others.

Not a fun place at all. When you pay $60 for two people for two hours and you only ride once on go karts. A big waste of money when they wasnt even busy. THEY NEED TO BE SHUT DOWN! ASAP

Definitely one of the worst places Ive ever been too. Half of the golf course was flooded with water and no warning was given.

Went to play mini golf. Should have listened when both employees we spoke to were surprised we wanted to play, and tried to talk us out of it. It is a concrete couse, so the balls rolled around and around. Completely pointless to play. Not fun.
