Not what I expected. It is nice and Peaceful though. Dont think I will be back.

Pretty rural spot with overlook/active bird life. Not much to it otherwise but enjoyed visiting.

Cant get of trial or outsite parking lot but two big ponds. Bring you binoculars. Lots of birds. Stop at the Davidson cemetery on the way across from Rural Hill for a bit of history.

Peaceful. Never witnessed any wildlife though, but its not a zoo.

Smelling the magnolia tree through the breeze in Davidson cemetery was amazing. Basically its a long road that ends to a observation pier....no trails...bring binoculars for the birds.nice and quiet...will see farm in the distance. Clean and peaceful place.

Not really worth the drive unless you are really into bird watching. The area is well maintained with ample parking and shaded viewing areas.

A long winding dirt road leads to a small observation deck. Too many trees. Too many birds. Too quiet, except for all those noisy toads. I love it!

This is a lovely place to visit. I went with one of my friends to go birding and had a wonderful time.

Quite, very nice place to go look at wildlife and think! Nice, long road leads to it! Very nice. Especially somewhere to go in huntersville!

If its serenity and nature you want, this is the place.

One of the best, if not the best, birding hotspots in Mecklenburg County. View a bit spoiled by a recently closed power plant
