I love this park! I wish I lived closer. The observation deck is such a cool little asset. I love walking the trail that goes through the mangroves. This is also a great place to launch a kayak because the floating dock is so close to the water. The Green Trail of West Lake Park is the closest marked trail to Holland Park.Lots of bugs here though especially on the walking trails.Entry is free but I know boats with trailers have to pay to park by the dock. I drop off my kayak at the dock and park closer to the bathrooms to park for free.
I loved the spark so much! I went on a Wednesday because I was in the area this place was practically empty. There’s plenty of space for parking. The restrooms were impeccable. It’s free!It has a three-story’s deck for you to see the gorgeous view at this place. There’s also a eco- walk way where you can walk and enjoy a little bit of the nature with many greens and the beautiful water view.
I accidentally discovered this park lost around my city! I love it! Great place to unwind and relax. Go for a walk, picnic or bike ride. Beautiful and scenic view of Hollywood !
I love that place, my boyfriend and me went sailing from there, I miss it on these rainy days.
Beautiful & scenic. BEWARE of the nats! They will bite you all over
Beautiful landscape and sunset! Be careful with the mosquito!
Park is on the water, has Boat Ramp to put your boat in water and nature walk trails along the water for enjoyment and fishing
Quiet, clean, beautiful water views, and boat launch pads. Perfect for picnicking. Great park.
Nice spot to kayak. Trails are well marked. Water is murky and brackish. But lots of fish jumping. Get your license and catch some!
Very nice park. I didnt think that closing the tower is necessary even though covid is a problem right now. I think we are being a bit too cautions ...
This is our destination when out for an early bike ride... beautiful park for boating, kayaking (BYO), walking, nature...lots of shade, beautiful old trees... across the intercoastal from le tub
This park is very peaceful. Theres only one problem--the sand gnats. When the evening hits these tiny, hard to see bugs get busy. I highly recommend taking insect repellent so that you can truly enjoy the serenity of the park.
Nice peaceful place on weekdays
This is a very small Park and some part of it looks abandoned but it has cool observation tower. Come here at the sunset to take some cool pics
Great place to reflect
A very nice place, very private and lovely picnic
Beautiful park for a stroll, love the different water fowl, watching the turtles sun bath and the peace and quiet.
Great place to watch nature.
Nice park. Has a boardwalk nature trail, picnic tables, lookout tower and restrooms.
Nice park but small, lots of wildlife. No playground but has boat ramp.
Very expensive and crowded boat launch on the weekends. DO NOT PARK ON THE GRASS! Its a $45 parking ticket, even if all of the parking spots are filled already.
Burger was ordered medium rare came out burnt. Took forever to get replacement. Service was just ok. Manager was good.
An excellent place to visit to view nature at its best. Very peaceful very quiet very pleasant.
I loved
Great place to go kayaking
Nice and beautiful place
Great place for a relaxing day !!
Excellent park. Kayaking, nature trails, great observation tower. A real gem!
Beautiful space tucked away from the hustle and bustle of the city streets, offering trails and water channels for one to get lost in the embrace of nature.Near the boat deck is a sheltered space equipped with a few BBQ pits and right next to it, a trail that leads to a wooden deck and walkway along the edge of the water.I joined a kayaking tour with a local guide (find Spectacular Kayak and Manatee Experience hosted by Joseph and Paula on AirBnB) and got a chance to explore the mangrove and water channel for a relaxing two-hour tour. A good activity for visitors to the Ft Lauderdale Hollywood area.
Holland Park is a beautiful Park located at the end of Johnson Street on the intercoastal in Hollywood Florida it is on the south side of Westlake it has a boat launch a three-story observation deck plenty of hiking area and great fishing accommodations there numerous picnic tables throughout the park and a few Pavilions available its great for fishing watching nature having a picnic or enjoying the outdoors with your kids with the boat launch you could also kayak and canoe if you bring your own equipment Holland Park is located directly across the intercostal from Margaritaville with great views of all the boat traffic going up and down the intercoastal also it is next to a Cove it is pet friendly and a perfect place for quiet stress-free relaxing weekday getaways
Love this park on the water but at night the big things make you crazy and eat you up?!
We went fishing today for Fathers Day...we had alot of until starting raining!
Awesome boat launch that does not get crowded
Free parking. Running water. Power available.
Nice place to go and relax, fishing or take your dog to
Its a nice spot with boat ramps and you can launch you kayak, or paddle board there. I highly recomend it if you like that kind of thing.
Been going there for many years
Its always so peaceful here and its awesome if you just want to get away and walk.
Too many mosquitos.

Nice park very lovely in the evening lots of mosquitos
Great place to go biking, fishing, you can bring your dogs.
A awesome park to go to any day of the week or weekends
Great place to launch your boat. Never any lines.
Needs new picnic tables and more of them. The pavilion needs to be pressured clean daily.
Some of the best boat ramps around, including floating docks for kayaks, canoes, access to west lake 1500 acres of wetlands. Good fishing.
A little gem in Hollywood that no one knows about. Its at the end of completely residential neighborhood and street.Small craft launch is available. Rock/sand beach at medium to high tide. Observation tower with 3 and half stories provides good views of the intercostal waters and lakes. There is a nice long nature loop that walks you through the mangroves.Cons: seems to attract a homeless crowd, at least when I was there. The tower is made of wood that is deteriorating and seems a but dangerous
Love this place.. but the toilets are the worst Ive ever seen. Dont like wading in piss . Had to wash off shoes.at least there is running water
Quiet little park and boat ramp. Really nice and theres an observation tower to watch the boat traffic
Great park
A good place to launch your boat jetski or kayak direct into the intercostal.quiet nature walk and picnic areas also fishing areas.
This park is so calming and peaceful. It is well-kept and is a great place to get away from the hustle and bustle. Its a great place to hide from your problems. Its surrounded by the intercoastal waterway. We were able to sit along the shore and watch as boats and other water crafts came by.The benches and picnic areas were in good condition. There were some that were sheltered and there were other open areas. If you have a boat theres moars available.I especially loved the structure (sorry I cant think of the proper term for it) whereby you can walk up to the third level and look out over the city and the beautiful homes along the intercoastal.I highly recommend this park.
Great place to go kayaking!
Relaxing place to go to
Good location excellent price
A local hidden park, offers a great boat lunch area, along with a nice observation tower, fishing area bathrooms, Its nice and quite perfect for walk around and relax, they also have a local rowing club located inside the park.
Beautiful public park with a private Park feel
Great but I think it needs more police supervision seemed a little unprotected due to its remote location!... Work on that..
Always great. When my husband and I go we get to feed the squirrels peanuts. They take them right from our hands.
Gray Park beautiful views excellent place to hold your next party or event
My place to launch the boat awesome parking ...a little high price per hour for boaters bit over all awesome little park
A hidden gem of a park in eastern Hollywood. Features an eco-walk through the mangroves and along the intercoastal. There are lots of places to fish from the walkway and from the shore. There are boat ramps available and you can rent paddle boards here.
The water is still shut off.
Love it her, early morning sunrise is awesome.
My kids like it
Very relaxing place and very joyfull environment.
Great Park to go to fish Hangout or have a get together and watch the tide change!!(( peaceful or rowdy excetera you decide))
Beautiful beautiful beautiful Through meditation your soul lives here. Very tranquil
Beat the traffic and the crowds, enjoy the lovely view from the observation tower.
Heaven on earth. Your gateway to Westlake Park, the intracoastal and the ocean!
We love the lookout!
Hollywood is a nice city with good facilities. Holland Park is one. Free entrance and a little chunk of old Florida surrounded by water on all sides. Very popular spot to sit at Intracoastal Canal as it flows south to Miami. Watching many boats go by is a popular pastime. Across the canal is the big resort, Margaritaville, right beside the famous hamburger joint, Le Tub. Great burgers, long wait, bearable because of the setting.Holland also abuts a very large pond where people kayak, paddle board, launch motor boats and all sorts of on-water toys. Dragonboat and rowing clubs practice here. The pond is like a jungle with lots of birds and wildlife abounds, with lots of iguanas.Well worth a visit.
Peaceful place and free. Not crowded like Hollywood broad walk.
Totally love the eco walk! The scenery is so relaxing and beautifu. Havent seen any crocs tho!
Great site
Really nice and relaxing place to spend the day. The nice boats that go by and the live reggae music aross the water makes this a go to place for everyone. Also it never crowded there as if not too many people know about the place. Be warned though, when the sun starts coming down you should leave because the bugs will eat you alive.
Thats a hidden gem. Great place to see nature, walk trails, or have a picnic
Great local and public boat launch
There is a snook that lives under the dock must be over 50 lbs. Maybe Ill catch him.
Beautiful and relaxing park
I have always loved Holland Park always so very peaceful
All family loves to spend time there with kids
Beautiful Scenery!
Located at the end of a residential area, this gem of a park is located on the intracoastal in Hollywood. Just west of the main entrance this park was once the site of a Spanish Mediterranean style house built by Herb Tulks aunt Julia Hitchcock in 1925. Herb inherited the house upon Julias untimely death when she drowned in West Lake. This area north of Johnson and east of 13th Avenue was platted for development but it never took place. For decades the house stood alone in a natural wilderness filled with foxes, raccoons, and panthers. Herb Tulk was able to fish from his front yard. Herb and his wife Gerta were artists and supported the arts in Hollywood. Their home became a gathering place for artists in the community. In the late 1970s Hollywood decided to expand Holland Park and when the Tulks would not sell the house and engaged in a lengthy court battle with the city, The city used eminent domain to take the house for $140,000 in 1977. People in the community were outraged that the city took the Tulks home and they hoped the city would preserve the home and make it part of the park. Unfortunately soon after the city took possession the house it was vandalized and fell into disrepair. The city gave the house to the fire academy to practice on and they burned it. Once the house was destroyed the land it sat on was never even used for anything. If you want to see where the house stood make a left at the entrance and walk down the path halfway to the end and face north. There once stood the home of Hollywood pioneers and supporters of the arts Herb and Gert Tulk. Most people dont know about the sad fate of the Tulk home and instead just go about enjoying the parks many amenities. It has three two lane boat ramps, two pavilions, a bicycle path, nature trails, restrooms and a waterfront observation tower. My favorite part was the waterfront boardwalk. On one side you had the beautiful water filled with boaters, kayakers, and paddle boarders and on the other side are the ecologically important mangroves covered in crabs. Although the panthers are long gone I saw a lot of birds, squirrels who clearly enjoy raiding the people who come to cook out, iguanas, and even a snake. Holland park is a beautiful natural space not known by many people outside the immediate area. Even less people know its story.
Great place to catch the golden hour.
