Absolutely beautiful beach! Well maintained and cared for. These pictures happened to be taken during Sea Turtle season. The wind was rather strong during the first part of our vacation. If visiting the beach Id highly suggest later in the afternoon while the tide is out.

Hilton Head is a beautiful beach but it is very quiet. Not a whole lot going on but if you want a peaceful place to relax and enjoy the view this is a great place.

This place has a calm and gentle feel to the beach. Quality family time can be spent. And the beach wasnt as crowded. And the life guard is looking out for you and your kids. Felt secured playing here. The sand is absolutely beautiful. Gentle, calm, peaceful can describe this beach. Only bad part about this place is the resorts are blocking the popular entrances to the restaurants and amenities exclusively to the tenants. Kind of aggrevating to go around and walk up to the part of the beach. Another representation of segregation. Thanks to public park entrances and parking!

A nice beach even with the storm on the horizon. No jelly fish, seaweed, or really any marine life at all. Like most East Coast beaches (outside of Florida) it has murky water but starch soft sand. The water currently is quite warm with some smaller waves.

Beautiful sunrise. Good place if you just want beach time.

We loved this beach. There was a nice board walk to walk out to the beach. There were not many people. We saw a sea turtle in the dunes.

Free access through Bradley beach road. Google maps initially took us to the resort which is private. Guard guided is to Bradley road. Very nice and clean access to the beach. Beautiful place.

If you want to stay away from the tourist beach, definitely bring your family here. Theres no frills except for a very good bathroom, soda machine and showers for your feet but you will avoid all of the manic crowds of Coligny

Beautiful beaches....We enjoy the Folly Field Beach the most. We often stay at the Hilton Head Beach and Tennis Condos. Always love Hilton Head!!!

Not enough parking available at the beach. Difficult access. There are much better places to go on the East coast. The water was nice if you prefer barely any waves and warm, but it is murky. I asked some other people who have been there before and yes, that is the way it normally is.

Driessen Beach has fairly easy access. There is a charge for parking but its very reasonable.

It was very crowded, especially in the afternoon. It was hard to social distance. The water was warm and the sand was very soft.

Love it nice place to go and relax. Please wear a mask they have signs to remind you every where.

Lots to do on the island. Beaches werent too crowded so plenty of room for social distancing. Great choice for a family vacation!

Crowded beach, got a lifeguard. People and tents crowded together as far as the eye can see. You can do better.

Loved this place! Definitely will come back during the summer. I came here march 10, it was slightly cold, a little breezy in the air. Hardly no one was on the beach. Wasnt loud at all, most people were just walking the beach and exercising. When you first get on the beach theres a blue trail track for easy accessibility for your bikes. A very pet friendly location. Tons of resorts around the beach, tons of free parking spaces, and many little restaurants close by the beach. Before you get on the beach theres a few sections for bathrooms, fountain water, chairs, little kiddie water section, and rocking swings. Didnt cost nothing to go there, but please beware depending on what direction you go 8-11 minutes from the beach there is a toll, its $1.25 to and from. The beach has tons of JELLYFISH!!!! Very amazing to see, first time Ive ever seen any. Made me extremely happy to see them, but sadly many were dead and birds were eating them. Would definitely recommend this place, such a great place for family. Im sure the summer time itll be packed though, but its definitely a good place to go.

The sand is wonderful. Much better than Savannah.

Nice, large beach with plenty of room to spread out. Since the water is very marsh influenced, there is no salt water smell and the water isnt the color of most coastal beaches. There are no waves to speak of, which is both a positive and a negative. Same goes for the sand, which is mostly very hard, but good if you like to bike ride on it. There is an abundance of sea life in the water.

So enjoyed my mini vaca during this quarantine season. Social distant for me but surely enjoyed seeing people enjoying themselves while in the water.

11 miles of prisine beach that opens up to two hundred yards wide during low tide. Perfect for strolling, biking and baking while enjoying dolphins and the rolling surf! Ideal for families with small children, offering benign encounters with waves and tidal pools.

Entirely too congested for the Coronavirus. Crosswalks to beaches had standing room only. I prayed to dear God that know one would start coughing on the damned crosswalk. I guess its better to go before traffic pick up on the narrow crosswalks where you are guaranteed to brush shoulders and or elbows with passerbys. My kids hated it

Cheap parking. Clean and well maintained beach.

Its a private beach! GPS took us there and the guard told us to go away! Folly Field Beach Park is for public. Parking for only $1 an hour.

Weve been vacationing in HH almost every year since the mid 90s! Love all the beaches, restaurants and activities... golf, kayaking or just hanging out with friends!Highly recommend a visit.

Hitlon Head is absolutely wondering...but NOT during busy season. Weve come twice and once was late August and not COVID outside and we had an absolutely amazing time. But this last trip was a little aggravating ( as to be expected during July 4th weekend) no where to park to access public beaches, so Definitely find a hotel with a beach access, and between the Rona and being July 4th everything is busy and packed. Be prepared to wait. There was still quite a bit to do, activity wise, just bring a mask! Im sure well be back, its a great chill and relax island, but also has its lets get wild go ride jet skies

The water is not the deep blue that I want out of a beach, but the reason I give it 5 stars is because the care Hilton Head island puts into it. The entry ways are great, and the beaches are very very clean. Overall it is alot of fun and still stunning looking out onto the ocean, especially during the sun rise.

Clean beach, everyone kept social distancing. Life guards and other staff did a wonderful job keeping guest safe.

It was a very Beautiful experience everything was better than I expected, I stayed at the top of the Oceanfront view I love it my room was clean the kitchen was clean the patio was nice. I will return again very soon I Stayed at Hilton Head Tennis and Spa Resort

Loved it cant wait to come back.

Coligny beach can get crowded

Love it or hate it. Beaches are a preference and this is a very popular tourist destination but not for me.

Besides the Summer time of year we chose (being hotter than hades), the entire trip has been very refreshing !Our unit (A318) has been heavenly (clean, items stocked, everything working, view was fantastic, access to beach was pretty convenient...)!!We were concerned about our unit b/c of some bad reviews about other units !The only thing Id possibly change for future trips here is to get an end unit (3rd floor) that faces the beach.

Quiet calm more like a honey moon place.

Hilton Head is a beautiful beach not too commercialized when i visited it wasnt crowded i was very pleased with the beach

Bring quarters or apply for the beach pass i took bradley drive on in to the beach parking. Dont for get your chart or carrier with wheels makes set up a breeze

Great place. You are a few steps away from the beach. Cheaper than staying at a hotel. I would recommend bringing your own food since you will have a kitchen to yourself. Would totally go back. Only thing is that if you request an Uber, make sure you tell me your apartment number since it will be requested by security.

Gorgeous! Not at all like the ocean on the west coast. I had never seen a live sand dollar before until we went to this beach. They were everywhere! I would love to return some day .

I love HHIB ! It’s a Summer favorite yearly! We love to take the family to a large home that we rent every year to accommodate our family and the kids friends. It’s beautiful. You can’t go wrong with a beautiful sunset and drinking some great wine ! I wish it was July 4th, so I could be hitting the waves and the fabulous Lilly Pulitzer stores down there too️

The nicest, quietest beach on the island.

Visited here a few days ago, the beach was very clean and our fur baby enjoyed running around without her leash on.

A magical place.

Water was warm and area was clean with lifeguards around. No shells to be found and there was a guy fishing which I dont think is right with all the people & kids around.

Nice clean beach. We found a Small jettys that contained blue crab and a large species of fish.

Beautiful beach, sand white and clean. Would have given 5 stars but there are sharks that swim up close. One hit my calf and was about 5th scared me so decided not to swim in the ocean.

Very good beach. Availability of changing rooms and rest areas with ample water to clean and wash. Nice parking facility as well. Little lack of refreshments for the likings of the group. But I guess that is per the design of the island itself. No complaints though as we believed that is what still keeping it so pristine and serene.

So much to do if you are looking for an active vacation. Bicycling, golf, and watersports. The beaches are beautiful.
