A great spot for exploring. It was a little hard to find if you dont do some research first. Its actually just off the road. Stay on Joan Ave. and its south of the private house driveway at the top of the hill. Just look for the little sign and trail. People have vandalized the heck out of it. Too bad but it also adds to the experience, I guess.

Such a wonderful geological site in the middle of nowhere. The state needs to build some educational placards and maybe a path but it’s a great rock to check out!

Quiet secluded woods

People are carving The Rock year after year after year gets smaller and smaller and smaller. Its destroying it. Its not going to blow your socks off. But if youre romantic, you like nature and you like seeing new things and going to places this is one of those things to check off. I went here as a child with my dad when my memory was Fuzzy. Going here again give me a feeling of nostalgia because of that. When I was a kid I chased the flying squirrels up the top rock and they jumped off and glided down.

Awesome area...but no signs out to know exactly where this is..past sign about 500 ft to the right of the road...alittle path in the woods...wow

Pretty cool, a short walk past it to more of a structure. At first we were not sure where it was off the road until we came up the hill a tad past the house, there is a nitch on the road to park.

The chimney and other structures are quite interesting and there are some woods to walk.
