Hard to find, then you feel like a trespasser when leaning over a backyard fence for a difficult photo. Messy area, feels like squatters live there. The monument IS there, but you have to persevere to see it. Nothing else of interest nearby. Save your time, and just read about it.

Definitely not an inspiring place to visit, but we were there mainly to get bait for a fishing trip. The fishing bait establishment got us what we needed which was minnows and nightcrawlers. The Establishment had a lot of dogs roaming around that had to be put away before we could go in and shop for our bait

If you know the story it is a great memorial. If not it is an interesting find.
