First time weve ever been to this place and can I just say wow. The place was well maintained and clean. We parked over by the HUGE playground and took the first path we saw (which looked like a path of mowed grass at first) off to the left we saw a path lead into the woods and we knew we had to go! So glad we did! It was a beautiful easy trail with lots of places to explore. With covid they had one way trails and it made things a lot easier to get around and to know where to go. They had white paper maps of the trails to take with you and had plenty of maps along the way to mark where you are. Definitely bringing the kids to this place the next time around. Thanks for keeping this place beautiful and for letting the public still find fun things to do outside. Plenty of space and trails for everyone with lots of smiling faces! Exactly what we need these days. 10/10

The park is well groomed and very clean. Bathrooms were easily accessed and clean. The entire trail on the bluff side was in the trees and shaded. Made for a nice walk on a hot day. Our dog enjoyed coming with us. They are allowed on a leash.The rest of the park trails are more open and you get beautiful views of the Mississippi. We stood and watched a large group of barges come through slowly and carfeully..... we also watched a storm roll in from the distance and loved it! The picnic areas are clean and well spaced. I wished we could have stayed longer. We want to explore the bike trails next time. What a lovely park.

The trails make for a very pleasant walk through this little forest. Great views of the river ! Wonderful playground. Some of the trails are a bit steep so if youre not sure footed, choose easy ones.

Been here since I was 5 (13 now) absolutely love this park still, it’s so pretty and peaceful. Everyone is nice, my dog loves coming here cause I let her off leash if it’s not to busy (yes she responds SUPER well). Ugh it’s just a perfect place to relax or have fun with your family

A beautiful place to visit! Miles of trails for walking, hiking, and biking. Not a ton of great views of Spring Lake, but there are a few overhangs that show you the true beauty of the place. Theres also a playground and sand volleyball courts. Theres plenty of tables, barbeque grills, and picnic pavilions in and around the visitor center. (The visit center building itself is currently closed during the pandemic.)

This is a beautiful park to visit! Plenty of walking trails, and even a paved trail for those who like to go along on wheels (bikes, skateboards, etc.). Several picnic tables in a very well shaded area make for a great place to have a picnic. If you go to the right spots, you can even have a great view of the river/lake!

Great spot to hike or walk or bike, good for families, great hiking trails, super cool old bridge. Lots of spot for picnics, close to Hastings... just what the doctor ordered.

This is a beautiful regional park that overlooks the Mississippi River and Spring Lake with many different great views; a nice variety of walking, biking paths, (skiing in the winter); and several picnic areas that are very well maintained (including a pavilion with 6 electrical outlets, 2 large grills, and 4 smaller grills nearby).

Its a great place for biking and hiking/walking or just to get away for a bit. Not sure of all the names but there are lots of native flowers, grasses, and plants.

A very quiet and scenic park with great views of the Mississippi (Spring Lake). Paved and unpaved trails for running, biking, and skiing in the winter. Has multiple indoor bathroom facilities and a small event center. A hidden gem.

This is a beautiful area and we have had several family functions here. The grounds are amazing and have plenty to do for every one. The conference building is great to be able to use.

Its a rather beautiful place to take a walk, just be careful on non-paved paths as most of them are rather steep and narrow and can be difficult if the ground is wet.

Its a beautiful place in any season! There are hiking trails, picnic pavilions, playgrounds, and an event center - perfect for a wedding venue. There is something for everyone here. These photos feature the recent Super Snow Moon February 19/20 2019. It was a perfect place to view it.

This is an awesome place to have a family reunion picnic! The shelters are perfect with bathrooms close by and electricity. Clean park, great place to spend some time on weekends. Views of river are a little obstructed but you can hike down closer.

What a beautiful park! Clean, well maintained bathrooms. Overlooks the river. The trail signs were a little confusing to us, but we just chose one and followed it. Would definitely return - I bet the fall colors here are fantastic.

My family loves this park. My husband and I found it when we were looking for wedding venues. It was an amazing place to get married. Now that we have children, we appreciate the playground and the trails, which are very well maintained. For is, its worth the 20 minute trip to enjoy in every season!

Beautiful park! Very well maintained and has hunting permits you can apply for. Lots of great wildlife and well maintained common areas and walking paths.

Beautiful park that is excellent for walking or picnics and has amazing views. Public restroom are clean and well maintained. Went to have a for there with my friends and it was quite enjoyable. I do want to go back soon to find out what the theatre is about. I like how its hidden behind farmland as well, seems like a secret spot.

Gathering center is a great place to hold events for 30 to. 100 or so people. Bring your own food or pick your own catererDoes have a kitchen. Great views fireplace and fire pit outside. Open or with round tables that are provided.

Great shelters for family picnics, lots of tables and good parking. Flush toilets too.

One of most beautiful park in MN is here in Hastings!! Amazing View of Mississippi river enjoy bird watching and walking breathe taken trails!!! Do picnic let your kids play at large playground & running around freely! You visit 100 times never get you tired of it!!

Was here for a friends wedding. Very nice park, watched the sun set over the river with my wife as it was also our anniversary.

Great view of the Lake/River. I enjoyed beautiful surroundings and pristine nature. Didnt know such a great place so near by. Highly recommended especially Falls/Spring time.

Its a lovely park that has a range of trails and paths you can walk on. And its very large in area. You could spend hours walking through the paths and still have more to go.
