I think its a great park for all to enjoy. There is a play ground area for younger kids to play, duck pond, basketball court, large grass field for soccer or flying your R/C Airplane like I like to do (NOT A GOOD PLACE TO LEARN HOW TO FLY R/C PLANE OR DRONE to may people). There is also paved walking area around the edge of the medium to large sized park.
This park was very peaceful, with a great walking trail for my dogs. The pond is very pretty, and the trees provide lots of shade, even on a sunny day. My family and I have been trying to explore all the parks around the Gresham area, and this was one of the nicest weve been to so far.
This park is a beautiful hidden gem. The pond and the ducks are charming, the paths are nice to walk on and its never crowded when Im there, with is usually in the evenings and on weekends. It has a covered picnic area as well as some tables out in the open. Because of the ducks, I dont recommend letting kids on the lawn next to the pond, but theres a lot of other crass to run and play on.
It is a nice little park. The ducks are pretty lit! I made many great memories there I reccomend going here
There are so many paths and all the birds are amazing.
There was an insane amount of ducks which was great! It was a sizable park and had some pretty good photo spots.
We loved it here the kids used to play here, dad worked in the turn and the kids moved by here
Love this park love the scenery its very big cor get together even a wedding its that beautiful. Baseball field, huge duck pond. Walking trails, two play grounds one for smaller children. Sitting area with lots of table . even barbecue area. Its huge and its beautiful.
This is an okay park. Looks like it may be a catch basin in disguise. The bathrooms were maintained.
I brought both of my grandsons here Isaiah venegas and Anthony Venegas
My favorite place to go and relax, take a walk and enjoy the ducks.
My girlfriend lives in the apartment right by here. Im very angry at her. 1 star
Its a nice park but they closed the picnic table area so there is no place to sit and enjoy a picnic lunch
Red Sunset Park is truly one of the many beautiful parks around the city of Gresham. Its kinda hidden and very peaceful.
Its a family, aesthetically pleasing, and tranquil park. I personally loved the bbq grills which are huge.
Wouldve had 5 stars, if restrooms were opened for the public to use. Since it is already halfway thru March. Otherwise its a good place to take kids too.
Im vacationing here and wanted somewhere to run, and thankfully this park was right near my hotel. It was beautiful, with a conveniently located restroom and a nice pond full of ducks. This photo does not do justice the sheer number of ducks I saw, haha. Not terribly big, but thats fine with me because Im not from around here and was worried Id get lost. Cute and photogenic bridges too.
Amazing garage door repair service they replaced my broken garage door spring same day service good price
Lots of room to play and not overcrowded.
This park is a nice large park with walking paths and a little kids playground fairly close to a bigger kids playground. We were happy to have a toddler present and we enjoyed the playground. There is ample parking. The park was well maintained with an area undercover that can be reserved for parties. We were just visiting but we still made time to go to this park twice.
Good food and service. Super fast.
A wonderful date location with a wonderful woman. Plus ice cream
We love this park. Lots of ducks and green grass.
Great park. Love feeding the ducks
Spacious park. Basketball court. Soccerfield. Two playgrounds not huge but nice. Well maintained duck pond as well
Beautiful pond with ducks and geese, a gazebo, covered picnic area, 2 seperate play structures. 5 stars, despite the duck poop.
I live this park most of all so does my children it’s one of our go to places. They have barbecue area and you can also rent a spot with bench tables and barbecue for up coming birthday or family get together. But I do enjoy how peaceful it’s.
Comfortable family oriented placed. Good place to have gatherings and my grand kids love it
Beautiful. The pond with all the ducks, geese, swans, etc is wonderful.
Nice park with a pond... Ducks... Baseball and basketball swings play structure covered piknik tables very pretty
This park is safe enough for me to feel comfortable walking around it at night. Decent amount of lighting, could be better around the baseball field though.
Its so fun everyone had a good time I definitely rate this a 5
I was taken here as a child to feed the ducks and now I get to do the same for my daughter. Im glad our parks are still beautiful!!!!
Great place to bring kids, walk a dog, feed ducks, or just get some fresh air. Lots of goose poop, but hey, thats what geese do. There are almost always dog bags available, which is much appreciated. The fountain is nice, and the playground equipment looks great (though Im too old for it and my kiddo is too young). The pedestrian bridges are nice, and we were able to get some good family photos in different spots around the park.
The basketball court is literally unusable. The city of Gresham useses some odd plastic wire for the nets that make your ball get caught everytime you make a shot. I have never seen this at any park anywhere besides here. I was hoping to come back today to see if anything has changed but now its even worse. Now one of the nets is tangled up so one hoop cant be used at all while on the other hoop it looks like someone tried to rip down the net but it bent part of the rim out. Using this kind of net was a huge mistake. Please just get nylon like every other park. Yes it will need to be replaced every once in a while but it is better then being unusable like it is now. I am giving the park one star because this is such a glaring screw up that can easily be fixed. Its a great park for running and anything else you might want to do but the bball court needs to be useable! I will gladly change the rating as soon as its fixed.
You can feel connection with nature.
Take my kid she likes to feed ducks n its funny to see her run from ducks
Lots of ducks and geese = lots of poop. It has a nice walking path and on ok gazebo near the pond
Nice big park for everybody
This place has a large and diverse population of ducks and other birds. I am not sure if they are a stocked or abandoned animals, but they seem fairly healthy. What is NOT healthy is their pond. It is filled with trash in the water and the perimeter. I am so sad to see this beautiful park mistreated by many. It would be great to punish the littering offenders, because this park has so much potential.
Its a pretty place. I love the fountains in the pond.
Dirty place lots of beer bottles plastic but ok
Beautiful local park with several options for families to do. Ideal for birthdays parties.
Pretty park but there was alot of people here!
Beautiful atmosphere that is so uplifting. I really wish people would respect the ducks more. I see kids chasing and hitting the ducks with sticks as their parents just watch in a state of apathy. Please help me stand up for our feathered friends so that we can all live in a more harmonious world. Bread is also really bad for ducks. I think the Do not feed the ducks bread sign needs to be updated... Lovely park, lovely trees, lovely Ducks. Thank you to all who help Red sunset maintain its divine beauty.
Been going for years. Much cleaner than it used to be. Lots of usage and activities to partake. Wish there was more parking.
Kept up well. Bbq area, covered group area with tables. Pond with lots of ducks. 2 play areas one geared for small fries and one for older kids. Large soccer field and baseball diamond. Restrooms on property. Concrete walking trails throughout. Surrounded by a few apt complexes. Backs up against a neighborhood. Quite a bit of thru traffic. Good location for outdoor gatherings.
Another example of the lack of funds used for Washington fisherman
Very nice place for picnic.
Something awesome about this small park. Love it.
I love this park. Great for walking. The local ducks are the best, they love attention and its a great picnic spot.
Great place to hang around with family and friends enjoy the ducks have a Picknick.2 covered picking spaces. Play equipment for little humans.
Loved the park. Has bathrooms, has a nice walking path. The wildlife is entertaining here. The fountain in the ponds are beautiful. Downside is there is lots of goose poop every where
Loved the beautiful scenery
I come here like 4 times a week to walk my dog. There is always ducks, geese, and a well kept sports field to look at.There a hand full of squirrels running around to keep my dog happy and engaged, and he loves them. The park itself is a little small so when running it takes a few laps but that is fine. Seen a few questionable homeless people wander into it, but they never seem to stick around.
Lots of cool things for the kids to have fun with and do! Decently clean as well
Amazing duck park great for family fun or a place to be by ur self
Way too many tweekers
I like it, its quiet until either the soccer kids or the mexicans playing volleyball get there
Looks like a nice park with a pond and fountains and a nice loop to walk or run or just mosey around. Also has benches large open area, and a picnic table or two. And guessing the sunsets are good if the name accurate but I was there too early for that.
Very nice park
Quiet, tucked away
Gazebos, play structures, fountain/duckpond, picnic shelters & soccer fields (reservations recommended); Dont feed the ducks - its bad for the ducks & the pond.
We love this park. Beautiful area with two playgrounds, soccer fields, basketball court and duck pond!
Weve been going to the park to feed the Ducks 4 years we love it there is it so quiet peaceful and the Ducks and the geese are very friendly
It was good. Not croweded
Very family friendly.
Peaceful, scenic and clean. Great place to walk your dog!
Nice place. Cool water feature
Its beautiful here. I love the fountains and the geese.
Well maintained facilities. Very nice park
Nice for children, great bbq area with working sink, duck pond and covered picnic tables.
Great park. Great place for a bbq or a soccer game. Just have to watch out for some of the questionable folks.
Very nice
It’s a great park, the kids always meet other kids and have fun.
I love to go walk my dog. Is a small park but very nice it has a small fountain and ducks.
The reason I gave this place five stars was because there were ducks but not just any ducks, baby ducks there were five chicks that came over and ate our bread so did their moms nice water feature too!
This is a very nice campground. Its on a dead end road so you dont get much traffic. Very close to the ocean and the view from the beach is fantastic. Faces west so great sunsets. Good place for kids to play as its pretty sheltered and a huge sandy beach.
This is a very nice park. The one draw back for me was the distance between the little kid area and the big kid area. I had trouble keeping an eye on my big kid while with my littles.
Beautiful area. Cool duck pond. My kids had a blast
Child hood park. Will always love it. Love feeding the ducks . good place to get a good walk or run in. Good long walking paths.
Because they treated me with kindness and love.
Limited play space for older kids. Needs more playground equipment.
A good spot to stop for lunch and peace of mind.
Nice park with 2 play grounds. One for young and 1 for older. A lot of bench area under cover. Next to big baseball and soccer fields. Big pond with ducks and geese. No fishing or swimming. Dont feed bread to ducks. Bring cracked corn if you want to feed them. Have run into people who were chasing and harassing ducks and geese. Please be respectful of the wildlife.
Very good park and has something for everyone
The SKIP program is amazing! All summer, free lunch and activities for kids.
