There is a nice play grudge here and a lovely garden near by that is free. Pets are welcome but you must clean up after them. I found broken glass by the play structures. Before your kids play make sure to look for dangerous stuff. There is a homeless community close by so some times you find something. There is a place to play basketball close by too. Its a cool little spot to explore bering days hours.

Wonderful place to take your family for a stroll in the park. Cute garden the playground is not open yet and there a few homeless people around the baseball diamond. Great for hiking and biking!

It has a skate park, a memorial, a nice paved trail, Japanese gardens, baseball fields, and a play structure. All across the street from downtown Gresham. Lots of parking available. A popular park but never too busy.

This park has a beautifully maintained Japanese Garden island. The gem of the park. Quick access to Springwater Trail and so close to the downtown shops and eateries. Great covered area with picnic tables.

Its big. Its clean. I like the bridges and the Japanese garden. Other attractions are a skate park, baseball diamonds and snack bars, kids play area and a huge covered picnic area for gatherings and parties.

I love just sitting down by a tree and drawing or walking through the Japanese garden. Its one of the best parks Ive been to and look forward to going there again

5 year old review:I liked nature, plants at the Japanese garden. I liked the benches that was not wet. And I hated the benches was wet. I liked the playground, the high climbing one. You could go there whenever you want and do things whenever you want.31 year old review:Theres a wide variety of activites/interests including a playground, baseball field, horseshoe area, skatepark, Japanese gardens, picnic area you can rent out for parties, and an enclosed dog park as well. Only downsides were no open bathrooms and when going on the weekends in better weather the playground is too small for the amount of kids that visit. Also when it rains as shown in the picture, the swing area floods a little.

This Park is located near the main bike trails that goes through Gresham and into Portland. Like all the parks its very nicely maintained and has lots to offer.

The park is nice and makes it easy to get to spring water trail. Great place for a person to exercise and to exercise your pet.Please have your pets spayed and neutered.Please always adopt your pet from the local humane society, they truly make the best pets and they will love you forever. Adopt a dog, if you want to start a walking exercise program your new dog or puppy will motivate you everyday to get out and walk, you will truly get hooked. Mr. Thanks you.

Great park. I really enjoyed spending the afternoon here with my wife. Great view of eater and wildlife. Easily accessible. There are baseball fields nearby as well as a fire station. The park is adjacent to a trail. I would like to walk along the trail, but I am scared of violent hobos. Also I am afraid of big cats like cougars on the trail.

Tsuru Island is a gem. The Dog Park needs to be enlarged and have a few agility structures to offer.

They have the best nature trails and even though its next to Springwater Corridor. Theres not a whole lot of bum activity in this area. I expecially like it during the summer time when the kids are playing baseball.

In the city park, there is a park within a park. It is a Japanese garden. My grandson wanted to take me there. It is a beautiful little portion of three main park. It was very serene area of the park. The birds were singing beautifully and the trees and flowers were wonderful... All reminiscent of a typical, beautiful Japanese garden.

We love stopping by this park on our walk to the library. Good playgound, separate area for swings, a off leash dog park area, shelter for large groups, and a large feild area. Also has public restrooms by a baseball dimond and a skate park. My only complaint is that there is not enough shade by the playground!

My 2 year old loves it here. Busy in the summer but what park isnt? Has only one toddler swing so parents and kiddos have to share. Much more of the park to discover like the baseball field, and BBQ area. Plus the restrooms were open and water fountains working. Thats great for the city parks! If you go on a week day its not too busy; plus you can check out the state park if thats your thing.

I love that its image is being change through having the Japanese garden, free summer activities offered to the community. My daughter grew up playing at this park.

Gresham has done a wonderful job of clearing out the riff-raff and making this a family and dog friendly park. Everyone, including a few transients were very friendly and kept control of their dogs when we met up with them. The pervasive urine smell at the West end no longer spoils the air. The enclosed dog park had lots of dogs, but watchful owners. Will enjoy this park for the foreseeable future.

Great place to go for many activities. The Japanese garden, though modest, is beautiful. A skatepark, a baseball diamond, and even a place to play horseshoes are nearby. My favorite feature is its access to the Springwater Trail.

Just such a well thought out park. Lots of room and lawn to play on. They have play equipment. Baseball diamond with bleachers. Restrooms, places to BBQ, a dog park, a rather attractive Japanese garden, even horshoe pits around back, and it is on the spring water trail if you want to go for a run or a bike ride.

A very nice park. Access to the spring water trail allows for us to quickly decide if we want to go on a walk. A fun playground for kids to goof around on. Although when its baseball season no one can find parking

Absolutely beautiful for quiet thoughtful events. Was perfect for Celebration of Life for grandson yesterday. Staff very helpfully ensuring its perfect condition along with garden flowers for this special event.

Well maintained, good community, great options. Dog park could be better, maintenance and supply area could be better sequestered, security could be raised.

Mostly dog play area use and toddlers giving mom a break from household duties. The fields are freshly mowed though some tree areas have a few days accumulation of unraked leaves (on October 28). Pleasant but not completely peaceful due to heavy traffic noisily passing on Powell Blvd. Also an aspiring mob of hodlums asked for money at park entrance and crudely cursed at many passers by.

This is such a great little park! I was enjoying some little league ball games, but the Japanese Garden is so lovely and the playground is good for little kids. Then theres the skate park above!

Its a nice park once you get used to that use homeless frequent it but so do scores of families, kids, nature, and everything you find in any city park in the area. Few broken playground pieces but doesnt distract from the slide and swings. The garden is small and perfect for little ones to appreciate.

I like the fact that its off to springwater trail, so I can use it as a destination and turn around point on my bike coming from Portland.it had been several years since Ive been there, but the last time I went I noticed they have a little man made island Japanese garden and I thought it was better kept up than before.

A big park with ample parking, and a picnic shelter. No rest rooms in the fall/winter season.

The nice thing is this parks proximity to downtown Gresham and the Springwater Trail. That is also the bad thing about it. To get to anything, you have to walk down hill into the park, so forget it if youre disabled. Theres no access. Dogs are permitted on leash.

I take my dog to the dog park area almost everyday. She loves it! But remember to being your own water be cause the water at the park is shut off for the winter months

A great park often plagued by a few obnoxious teens at the skatepark. And a few dog owners that haven’t realized pets are to be on a leash. But, just let them know to leash up and they’ll comply.

Its ok. If its been raining a while, it can flood. Tons of displaced folks hanging out just out of sight by the trees and such. The playground is nice though and it has an entrance to the Springwater trail. The Japanese garden is a little lackluster. Oh, theres also a thing for horseshoe, which was random.

Ive been going here since my kids were little and now go here with my grandbabies.. Its very clean and lots of nice walking paths..
