This park is spacious. I take my kids all the time to play soccer and basketball.

Track and field was professionally organized, parents were cordial, well maintained organization, enough parking and food. Regace Woods graced us with his presence.

Only fully public rubber track Ive seen in Florida, having been to Ocala, Jax and Tallahassee actively looking for a public place to run that is easier on my joints/knees. Great job to the city of Gainesville. Also includes a decent set of basketball courts.

Its quiet, clean and good parking. I love the rubber track. The only drawback is the track clubs are often there. The kids are usually very polite and mannerable but I dont like to walk when so many kids and hurdle bars in the way.

Its good that you can walk run it an play a little basketball I love soccer whatever you want to do at the park and its in the nice location

Decently maintained park with a 1/4 mile track, baseball field, basketball court, playground, and in assuming recreation building (have not been inside). Track is very nice but the area does foster a ton of bugs that will annoy you during your visit.

This is a beautiful park. The track is in great shape and the grounds are pretty clean considering the amount of use I think the place gets! I only wish the playground were fenced in, but it is covered, which is important during summer months!

I like this park. Great facilities and a library to boot.

Quiet park for walking or running in the mornings. Just be aware that the kids track programs in the late afternoon on weekdays usually take up all the lanes. Theres a covered playground for the younger kids behind the library. Seems to be dog friendly because I see people walking their dogs or letting them off leash in the fenced off baseball field.

Cone Park has a very good walking exercise community. Between the hours of 6 AM and 9AM a number of people come out to walk the rubberized track for exercise.

Beautiful and free 400m track. Rubberized top, very comfortable and professionally marked. If you want to use the inside field you have to register and call a 1-800 number.

This park is the best thing that the city contributed to the eastside for all those children

Theres a great rubberized track here and a soccer field. Its lighted, and there are bathrooms but they are locked at night/early morning. Only thing is, its pretty open and its not in the best part of town, so you may occasionally see some shady things going on in the parking lot. Last time I was there, there was trash everywhere, animals must have gotten into some left over bags of trash after a soccer game - best case scenario.. But there were random folding chairs around, so who knows..
