A nice place for a walk but they dont want you near the support grills unless there is a game

Had a great time! Me and the wife took a nice walk down the trail and saw some baby deer with their mother. I also saw a chipmunk and a beaver. Only thing I would like to see is people pick up their trash. Such a beautiful place, I would hate for it to be covered in trash.

Awesome, quiet park with smaller boat and jetski ramp. Good beaching areas to hangout with pavilions.

Nice place to take a small hike, picnic, or put your boat in. I see people fishing there all the time, but I have not.

Its a nice ball field to watch my grandson play baseball. Covered bleachers. Not a long way from the parking lot to the field, at least not where my grandson played.They have other fields that may be different

Calm and beautiful for a nice walk on the old bridge and down the hiking trails. Also a picnic pavilion and nice views on both sides of the park. There are sporting fields, batting cages, etc.

Variety of clean trails and great views. If youre a bird watcher/photographer, you cant go wrong.

I cant speak to the quality of the fields or sport facilities at this park. However if you follow the road till the dead-end you will see a beautiful covered bridge leading out to a large grassy field. If you follow the trail as it winds its way down the peninsula you can see many beach areas with pretty nice views of the lake. The entire loop trail is a bit over 1 mile but is relatively easy to hike. The trail is so enjoyable that Ive been going at least once a month for the past 2 years. I highly recommend getting out to that part of the park as this is a hidden gem rather close to the lake and city.

We did a Cub Scout Crossover in the back by the boat ramp. A neat little out of the way space.

This park has unadvertised trails out to the two peninsulas projecting from the park. They are really beautiful, with almost constant views of the lake, a few hills and nice woods. The trails are natural, not pavement or concrete, so you have to watch your step. The only problem is, people leave trash which is rarely removed, and when trees fall in storms it takes a while for them to be cut out of the way. Other than that, a perfect nature walk near the middle of town.

Nice field for tournaments. Parking lots are sufficient for the number of fields. Setting on the lake is nice. Lots of food nearby if you dont feel like concessions stand. Bonus is the Academy Sports nearby in case of an emergency equipment failure!

Fields were good with all the rain that came today. But umpires need to get in the game cant call strikes that are above your head and doesnt land beside plate and then call a strike when ball lands in front of plate then didnt even call a strike when it was

Nice place to play ball. Next door to the Gainesville Red Elephants. Easy to get in and out. Good concession stand. Great seating for spectators.

Great field. Sitting was odd. But it was nice.

I used to like to come to this park but I guess the upkeep has went downhill. There were used condoms on the ground and a group of grown men openly smoking marijuana near the water. Not the ideal place to come play with your kids like it once was.
