Be aware this park is an open area good only for biking, walking the dogs, running, its dangerous before dark.

Its a small park with a pathway and a gazebo and a table or two. No playground equipment or anything for entertainment.

I was there for a new years party, dont remember much...

My daughter was raped in broad daylight at this park around June 21st, 2013. No one came to her aid. A pregnancy resulted from this rape. She was 15. NEVER let your child male or female regardless of age go to this park alone. I let my daughter go alone just one time in broad daylight thinking she would be safe. False sense of security on my part and people continue to make her pay for a crime that was committed against her. I made Trinity multi-family aware of this as they own and rent duplexes all around the park and as far as I know they never sent out a warning letter as I requested them to do several months ago. So be warned Red Oak Park is very unsafe.

Small and quaint. Nice little path. Wish there was more playgrounds.
