This is a wonderful outside trail to a massive log wood Pavilion. The paced trail is level so an easy walk to the pavilion. Well worth the easy walk. There are paths into the woods. Lots of birds singing so very enjoyable.

My blind airhead couldnt find the lookout place, but the trails are very well designed. I went right after a storm so there was a tree blocking one path but thankfully it was easily passable. Would go again. Wear good shoes, the rocks can be slippery

Depending during the mouth of year you go. We went around the end of June 2020. Beware, we come out finding a couple of ticks and fleas on us. And still ended finding more on us as we drove home. Not only were the flea and tricks on us but we found them on our dog, I would not recommend bringing your furry companion. Aside from the fleas and ticks, these trails are very confusing, need more signs, or directions labels to let people know what direction is what. We had to get the app all trails to find our way and what direction to go. Nice location and very beautiful area love the trees, but not the fleas and ticks or knowing which direction to take.

Went to hike some trails and couldnt figure out why it was paved. Sidewalk in the middle of a forest? What sense does that make ??

Nice in town trails. Easy to hike in circles. Dont love listening to traffic in the woods but very accessible trails.

Nice trail for hiking or downhill mountain biking. Hardcore riders will enjoy the rocky hill climb, others will have to walk it. This is a natural (non-groomed) trail, expect rocks and roots. Nice little neighborhood loop.

Very pretty. Some good biking for the most part. But definitely a trail that was originally for hiking. Also, too many forks with zero signage almost makes me want to drop another star.

Trails were extensive but poorly kept. I was bitten over a hundred times by chiggers after walking here and had trouble sleeping several nights because of it.

This trail is packed full of native wildlife and photo gragphic opportunities. You can walk through and enjoy the silence or take your time and enjoy nature. There are a lot of trails that split off so take a picture of the map at the top of the trail and pay attention to the colored tags nailed to the trees. Send me pictures. I Love these trails.

Beautiful trail! Took the whole family and we had a fun time just traipsing aimlessly through the calm woods. The wooden cabin style gazebo is a work of pure art. Parking is nearby and not hard to find. I wish the trails were slightly better marked, but we had a great time either way

This place is a gem. It is close enough where we could go everyday and has a few different paths to choose from if you like to mix it up. The pavilion is gorgeous and well maintained. There is a nice paved trail leading up to the pavilion so it would be stroller friendly for family picnics. Also, there is a picnic bench up one of the trails which is nice and tucked in the trees. Be sure to take a picture of the trails before heading out!

Good, short hike around the area. Its easy to go up to the top and loop around the neighborhood. It is a little confusing to navigate if youre wanting to do a specific trail, even the maps make it a little difficult.

The pavilion is perfectly placed at the end of paved trail. Step off into an adventure into the woods and find teepees, streams, rock side, and things. Its always an interesting hike along the trails. Pet friendly and folks are friendly along the way!

This is a great in town trail for hiking and mountain biking. I ride it regularly and its always a challenge. Best suited for intermediate/advanced riders. At approx 5 miles youll do plenty of climbing (100+ ft per mile). There are several connector trails that can shorten the distane if you dont get turned around. A few cool bluffs and boulders if you can find them!

Be careful if going after a rain. There is no parking you will have to park by the tennis courts. There are very few signs and no directions on the trail but i was able to pick up GPS. The office has a map that is a little helpful. The bathroom is in the office as well.

The Runyan/ Lindsey/ Underwood pavillion is a marvelous work of art that is breathtaking to behold the amazing craftsmanship of Robbet Runyan himself, the Arkansas Living Treasure of 2014. Besides Roberts masterpiece, the woods and trails are a wonderful way to escape the city without a long drive. Very popular with mountain bicyclists, but also a great place to come walking with your dog or escape for your lunch break, or a picnic. No trashcans available, so be prepared to pack it back out.
