My blind airhead couldnt find the lookout place, but the trails are very well designed. I went right after a storm so there was a tree blocking one path but thankfully it was easily passable. Would go again. Wear good shoes, the rocks can be slippery
Depending during the mouth of year you go. We went around the end of June 2020. Beware, we come out finding a couple of ticks and fleas on us. And still ended finding more on us as we drove home. Not only were the flea and tricks on us but we found them on our dog, I would not recommend bringing your furry companion. Aside from the fleas and ticks, these trails are very confusing, need more signs, or directions labels to let people know what direction is what. We had to get the app all trails to find our way and what direction to go. Nice location and very beautiful area love the trees, but not the fleas and ticks or knowing which direction to take.
Nice trail to take the dogs put for a hike!
Easy trail that leads to the radio tower on Skyline Dr.
Went to hike some trails and couldnt figure out why it was paved. Sidewalk in the middle of a forest? What sense does that make ??
Nice in town trails. Easy to hike in circles. Dont love listening to traffic in the woods but very accessible trails.
Beautiful scenery and quite obvious trails, moderate elevation change. Ill definitely be exploring this park more.
Nice trail for hiking or downhill mountain biking. Hardcore riders will enjoy the rocky hill climb, others will have to walk it. This is a natural (non-groomed) trail, expect rocks and roots. Nice little neighborhood loop.
Great place to hike but lots of spiders
Nice short trek. Not much footfall
Really nice bit of nature in the middle of town. A nice hike to view the sunrise connected to extensive trails of youre looking for a longer outing.
Very pretty. Some good biking for the most part. But definitely a trail that was originally for hiking. Also, too many forks with zero signage almost makes me want to drop another star.
This is a good starting point to many trails on the back side of mount sequoya
Trails were extensive but poorly kept. I was bitten over a hundred times by chiggers after walking here and had trouble sleeping several nights because of it.
Old school rocky single track. Some good climbing.
This trail is packed full of native wildlife and photo gragphic opportunities. You can walk through and enjoy the silence or take your time and enjoy nature. There are a lot of trails that split off so take a picture of the map at the top of the trail and pay attention to the colored tags nailed to the trees. Send me pictures. I Love these trails.
Beautiful trail! Took the whole family and we had a fun time just traipsing aimlessly through the calm woods. The wooden cabin style gazebo is a work of pure art. Parking is nearby and not hard to find. I wish the trails were slightly better marked, but we had a great time either way
Its a really great trail filled with wildlife. Great for bikes and trail runners.
Nice little trail for a short walk in the woods. But watch out for ticks. A lot of brush along trail.
This place is a gem. It is close enough where we could go everyday and has a few different paths to choose from if you like to mix it up. The pavilion is gorgeous and well maintained. There is a nice paved trail leading up to the pavilion so it would be stroller friendly for family picnics. Also, there is a picnic bench up one of the trails which is nice and tucked in the trees. Be sure to take a picture of the trails before heading out!
Good, short hike around the area. Its easy to go up to the top and loop around the neighborhood. It is a little confusing to navigate if youre wanting to do a specific trail, even the maps make it a little difficult.
The pavilion is perfectly placed at the end of paved trail. Step off into an adventure into the woods and find teepees, streams, rock side, and things. Its always an interesting hike along the trails. Pet friendly and folks are friendly along the way!
Its a nice little trail system. Especially being so close to town. There are some nice overlooks and streams flowing through.
Beautiful scenery and plenty of photo opts! Be sure to wear and take extra tick repellent.
Best place to get away for a quick trail run!
Walked Around Late At Night. Very Pretty. Peaceful.
This is a great in town trail for hiking and mountain biking. I ride it regularly and its always a challenge. Best suited for intermediate/advanced riders. At approx 5 miles youll do plenty of climbing (100+ ft per mile). There are several connector trails that can shorten the distane if you dont get turned around. A few cool bluffs and boulders if you can find them!
Beautiful trails, however, the trail maps arent up to date and there is very little signage accompanying the many forms in the trail. Very easy to get lost.
Had family reunion there it was peaceful
I prefer the areas around beaver lake more, but this is a great area thats just outside of town and easy to get to. Really recommend for an afternoon trip, bring a picnic.
Perfect little hidden treasure in the middle of town. If you cant live on Mt Sequoyah at least you can act like it. And a Robert Runyan masterpiece at the base
Awesome little trails
Best kept secret in Fayetteville... Kinda lol
Great place to go for a hike.
Such a treat to have this right in the middle of town. Great trails and it couldnt be easier to take a walk about in nature. Sometimes you can even forget that youre five minutes from Baba Boudans.
Beatiful easy trails. However I never found a look out view.
Be careful if going after a rain. There is no parking you will have to park by the tennis courts. There are very few signs and no directions on the trail but i was able to pick up GPS. The office has a map that is a little helpful. The bathroom is in the office as well.
A huge area of trails, a pavilion, and no other facilities... But who needs them? Great for a weekend hike with the family.
Rugged paths because of not much city maintenance but easy to hike otherwise. Also easy to get lost because of so many paths.
Trails arent marked well. The map on the City website is confusing. Theres more forks on the actual trail than on the map.
Great little trail system up through the woods. Perfect for an afternoon hike with some elevation to burn off lunch.
Its so peaceful and calming
Great biking and hiking trails
Really pretty views from here, but also a great place to go walk your dog or ride your bike. During the fall, the path gets a little covered in leaves and is harder to see, but still worth it as long as its warm enough.
This is an easy go to hike. Its easy to get lost, but thats part of the fun.
It gave wrong information, dangerous area, and just overall not a proper trail.
Its a great spot for families to have a hike.
Great hiking and mountain biking in the heart of fayetteville. The pavilion is very cool.
Had a great time with the family great place to start hiking with your little ones
The Runyan/ Lindsey/ Underwood pavillion is a marvelous work of art that is breathtaking to behold the amazing craftsmanship of Robbet Runyan himself, the Arkansas Living Treasure of 2014. Besides Roberts masterpiece, the woods and trails are a wonderful way to escape the city without a long drive. Very popular with mountain bicyclists, but also a great place to come walking with your dog or escape for your lunch break, or a picnic. No trashcans available, so be prepared to pack it back out.
The outlook is beautiful at night
Small but pleasant
Pretty nice trails for biking and hiking. Be sure to use bug spray liberally, though.
Awesome beautiful
Nice and quite hiking trial. Hidden little jem.
A nice short hike on a rainy day! White Tail Deer near the trail!
I got lost for three days.
Extremely gross
Oh them bathrooms are what I live for nothing better then the smell of stale piss oh yeah
Great trail in the middle of town
Peaceful
Lovely gazebo
Really nice trail!
Very relaxing
Trail was okay. Too many splits to get lost and backwards on.
Great woods with variable lengthed trails
No bathrooms
Natural trails
