This was a beautiful place and we loved the memorial tributes to our brave and courageous soldiers.
I am a wartime veteran which makes this place all the way sentimental and poignant to me simultaneously!
A Beautiful and Most fitting Park to honor our North Carolina Veterans. Thank You!
Great place. Love learning about the veterans of NC from our past and present. Park is nice (visited a couple months ago), and the visitors center is nice. The woman who worked there this morning (until someone else came in) was really nice. She could tell I was interested in reading the information set up in the center. She offered me a cup of ice for water, and gave me a snack cake. C: She also told me that I was the first person she saw take time to read the information. She asked me Its impressive isnt it? Access to all of this history... She had also said to me I was welcome to stay as long as I wanted to.
Remember the sacrifice and courage of our military. This location has a perfect mix of outside and inside displays dedicated to the Armed Forces of the United States.
Beautiful place, God rest all soldiers
Beautiful recognition of our armed forces
I love going to see all of the units that are honored and all of the counties represented!
Its a beautiful thank you for those who gave some and those who gave all.
The North Carolina Veterans Park is top of the line. I feel honored coming here. As a Veteran I feel this place does a great job honoring Veterans. Watch out after dark homeless come out of the woods. The park is always busy.
This is an amazing park. The memories it tells and the hands you can hold are priceless. Id love to thank all the veteran for their service and the families that gave so much
The North Carolina Veterans Park always has beautiful displays to showcase the sacrifices that our service members past and present have given for this nation. Many people in this area are military affiliated, so it is nice to see an area of town that celebrates and acknowledges generations of service. I often see photographers taking photos of families near these patriotic displays and know that its not simply just a backdrop for them but a symbol of community and remembrance.
A very nice place to take the kids even when there is not an event going on. Lots of room for the little ones to spread out and have a good time. Really enjoyed it
In the quiet moment of a dark evening, we pause and reflect to live in the greatest nation of all, however; all do not make it back home. Those proud men and women who have served have a home here and that home is where their cherished memory will always be. There lifetime of memories, laughter, and abiding love, we shall always cherish. Each gift a blessing from the day before and each day passing a painful reminder of the one before. We know too however; that we shall be reunited again. The battle is long, but the war was not in vain! Fight on mighty warriors! We too stand with you, always! GOD BLESS THE UNITED STATES of AMERICA!!
Veru beautiful and wonderful park
Touching how symbolizes so many veterans!
Wonderful park, history and nature in downtown Fayetteville
It is a beautiful and humbling place to learn about national and local war history. It is a great place to take out-of-town family members. If you want a snapshot of Fayettevilles military history, this is the place to go.
What a visually stunning park and memorial to the veterans. With a look of an art gallery and the design of a horticulturist dream, this park is an honored memorial to all that have served from the Revolutionary War to present in North Carolina. From a wall of dog tags of those that have been lost to a giant ceiling globe to an outdoor amphitheater, this is a stunning place.
Took a self guided tour on the day I retired. Very moving
Coming from mother russia i find this capitalistic park a disgusting venue
First stop on our road trip down south! Great memorial honor US Vets.
Beautiful and full of emotion.
This place is a fantastic journey of NC military history. Its free and can take as little as 30 minutes or a couple of hours if you really want to get into it.

Good place for everybody come down here to look at the place on the first time it has been open to the public
It was beautiful and educational. We love finding places like this when we visit new towns and cities. It’s still being repaired from bad storms but definitely worth a visit.
A peaceful and quiet place to reflect on the sacrifice for our freedom.
Great memorials and alot of good information and history.

Great place very well taking care of
Its a beautiful display. It really puts things into perspective. The flag display during memorial weekend is a sight to see
Always a pleasure to visit. Clean and well lit parking.
Virtually the only safe place to sit at night in Fayetteville. Covered in cameras and interesting artwork, Ive come here multiple occasions to kill time or to talk with my friends and loved ones. Its a pretty and quaint park and it makes me happy to be there.
We really appreciate ALL the veterans. Was something to see
Very nice, clean, respectable memorial ground. Amazing art work all around telling an intrigue story of past wars. The grounds are always clean. Its near the train station and the ballpark, a decent side of downtown Fayetteville. If you play Pokémon Go, there are about 12-15 pokestops and 2 gyms.
Good place to go if you are up there.
So calming cant till there done fixing it up ..
A beautiful memorial to the best military in the world.
Must see in Fayetteville.Truly hits home just how much men, women and families from all races, ethnicities and nations have fought, allied and sacrificed to ensure our continued safety and freedom here in the US and the nations we promise to protect.
Very helpful staff. Extremely clean facility. Highly recommend
As a Veteran Ill love any park for us. Thank you..
This is worth the visit if you havent gone yet. It doesnt take long to visit but its incredible to see what they have put together in this area.
Nice Nature Center with turtles snakes and taxidermy animals.
It probably looks better when the fountains are all on and the construction stuff is cleared away
Nice park area even with all the other construction going on could visit without being impeded by vehicles
Beautiful art work great place for pictures
Very nice place to visit.
On a scale of 1 to 10 with 10 being excellent this museum is a 10. If youre a veteran and you are in the area this is a must-see. If you are not a veteran and you want to learn about the service and sacrifices that soldiers have you given to this country come visit this Museum.
It is a good place to visit and learn about the past. You pick up a passport on your way in at the information desk. In it has places around town you can go visit and explore, when your done you ask for a stamp or sticker to collect in your book. It makes a great piece for your scrap book and the kids will have fun with it to.
This is a good place for a quiet stroll and an opportunity to reflect on the sacrifices made by many of our fellow citizens. Be sure to also visit the Airborne and Special Ops museum next to the park and then have lunch at one of the unique restaurants on Hay St.
Nice place to visit when in Fayetteville
I enjoyed visiting the park......
Ive been there twice and the first time I admired and was struck by its beauty. The next time I sat down on the ground and rested a while. I thought about the sacrifice and willingness of men who go to war. I tried to feel the place and after a while, I had the good feeling you get when someone says thank you. I may have created the feeling or who knows?
This is a cool little place. Theres cool sculptures & water features. Theres a bunch of nice spots to have lunch or hangout. Right next to the museum, other parks & walking trails & the 100+ year old train station.
It would be much more enjoyable and educational if they would fix the fountains.
The hands are cool
Nice museum...not that big but does tell info about the Airborne, past and present...it is free to look around but they do accept donations...
