Great activity for everyone.Easy walk with tons of information.Reservations needed and frankly, the solitude made it way better.15 minute increments so its like youve got the place to yourselves.

A beautiful nature preserve, a true urban oasis in Mill Creek. It is super easy to get to from the highway. I believe its only a couple of minutes away from the exit. The park feels so much more remote than it really is. The walkway is very well maintained, although a little slippery when wet, and the grounds keepers are very knowledgeable and friendly. A wonderful way to spend as little as a half hour or much longer when you need an antidote to the mall.

Very cool place. Elevated wetlands trail, native plants, very informative. Forest in the middle of the city, they also do really good things for our stream habitats and environment. Support them.

I went to a wedding here. Id never been there before. It has a cute little gift shop where part of the proceeds go toward their causes. There is also a couple of trails that wrap around a little pond / lake that showcases a lot of native flora and fauna with little descriptive placards. At the end of one of the trails there is a fenced off area where there are tree and flower sprouts saved from demolition and construction sites.

The new boardwalk trail is nice, it was very peaceful on a late Thursday morning in the summer - we were the only two people there plus a few staff workers. The $7 entry fee seems a bit high for the experience, but they are a nonprofit and need to raise the funds for building and maintaining everything; there are annual memberships for $20 (not sure if this includes access to the boardwalk). The people working there are very knowledgeable, helpful and invested in their mission.

Beautiful, educational, and something we all need as a reminder to be more mindful of our nature. Thank you to those who work and volunteer with Adopt A Stream!

The Swamp Lanterns (skunk cabbage blossoms) are fantastic right now. Apparently this is the peak of their season, and these large yellow blooms are spectacular on the floor of otherwise nearly dormant wetland areas. The boardwalk at Adopt A Stream is a wonderful place to stroll at any time of year, but presently it is extra interesting due to to the Swamp Lanterns.

Very nicely done. And well kept. Aquarium-like side view of a stream with trout, crayfish, mussels, etc. Half-mile elevated boardwalk though several different wetland terrains. Nicely and informatively labeled flora. Evidence of, with sightings and sounds of, various birds and other critters. Informative of the Northwests ecology for this visiting Southeasterner.

Wonderful program, very informative. I really enjoy the passion the ranger had for his job and his Karelian beardogs. If you have the opportunity to see him talk, dont miss it!

Easy to get to. Welcoming staff, well-stocked resource shop. Innovative recycled plastic plank walkway suspended in most ecological low-impact way. (Friction-pinned post bases) Freshest possible air loaded with rich oxygen and negative ions. Excellent signage. Healthy forest. Traces of the forest primeval seen in logger-notched, mossy old growth stumps. Streams, ponds, bogs, wetlands. Deer, beaver, birds, bugs etc. go now and often to walk off the holiday excess. Get a living Christmas tree, a membership, support!

Really beautiful private boardwalk with educational displays you can walk for a very small donation. We learned more about the native plants on this walk than probably any other one we have taken in Washington so far. Outdoor plexiglassed above-ground section of salmon stream you can check out the baby salmon and crayfish in, like an aquarium. This part has a tour from one of the volunteers. They have scheduled nature expert speakers. Make a donation or pay for a pass to the private boardwalk, it goes to the upkeep of this awesome place. Cute little store. Be sure to check their limited hours before you go.

I took a visit there and it is beautiful. At the same time, when I tried to volunteer, I was expected to disclose my medical information. The male supervisor kept talking over me and forcing me to disclose my information to him. I think he might have been pulling white male supremacy, which is how he got his way,The director states it is their policy to do so for safety and security reasons, and because it is volunteer work on property that has regulations. I am not comfortable with that.Revelation 21John 3:16
