We do family bike rides here. Its always clean, and even has a porta potty. I appreciate the new paving for our family bicycle rides. Our go to trail when weather is fair. Good job.

The walking path is fine and the best part is how out of the way the park is and watching the river. A seal popped up during our visit. Otherwise, it is long and skinny so the walking path is about the only thing to do. The park could use some more attention though. During our hour, we saw tons of trash and tried to pick up what we could, but it needs a team with the proper equipment for a lot of it. It is fairly wild, which the dog likes, but makes clean up challenging.

Nice paved biking trail. Theyve been doing an ongoing renovation project and have closed the trails at times. It would be a good idea to call parks and recreation to see if theyre open.

Its nice walking along the river. There is a water treatment plant right there, and thats not lovely to look at, and its big, so one has to walk by it for a while. The sound of the freeway above is very loud. There are benches to rest at, and public restrooms when they are open after COVID-19. There is a boat launch into the river, and a different dock for small crafts like kayaks and row boats.

Review №15

Its a flat cement path along the river that is also next to the water treatment facility. Yes sometimes there is a smell wafting by, however its short lived. The attraction here is the many species of our feathered friends, an easy path & you walk in direct sun, this is a bonus during our long dark winters.

Met a friend there with her dog and we strolled for a good 3 miles on the waterfront. Talking while enjoying the peace and beauty of the waterfront. Plenty of parking and endless views. I’m sure during the summertime it is really happening with fishing and boating. It’s right across from the animal shelter. Cool location.

Nice area for a picnic or a walk along the river. I went a couple weeks ago in the evening and walked my dog. It was nice. There is no playground that I saw so not really a park for kids to play unless they will just run and play in the grass. My dog had a good time and the park was clean. I would go again.

One of my favorite City of Everett parks is Langus Riverfront Parklocated in North Everett on the Snohomish River andSteamboat and Union Sloughs. There is a paved trail around the waste treatment plantwhich has been upgraded and 95% stink free!Boy Scout troops have added new benches. It is a nice walk along the river and very refreshing. You can connect to Spencer Island from the paved accessor by following the gravel road past the Everett Rowing Centerand Water Treatment Facility. The area is rich in plant life, butterflies, dragonflies, song birds, hawks, falcon, egrets, herons, eagles and aquatic life. The Eagles have left the nest but are still along theSnohomish River near Union Slough.Ive walked here since 2003.Its dog friendly on the leash.Bring water along as its a 3 mile round trip. One porta~potty is located just 75 feet North fromJack Knife Bridge at the entrance to Spencer Island County Park. The only thing you need to do is secure anythingin your car from sight that has any value as the parkingareas have a high crime rate.Smashing windows, stealing your possessions or stealingyour catalytic converters off your cars is a popular thingand Everett Police rarely respond unless its a crime in progress.I always park away from the parking lots in high visibility areasnext to the water treatment plant is a gravel parking strip under the overpass by the chain link fence. I think its better but I have seen windows broken there also. The City of Everett only has a small Park Ranger staff and over 40 parks,so its impossible for the Rangers to be in any one parkvery long and the local pd only goes out if nothing else is going on.The Park Rangers are all very well trained, professional, knowledgeable, friendly and always willing to help! The park staff does a fantastic job!The park is well maintained and very scenic.Ive taken over 500 landscape pictures over the yearsfrom this fantastic park! Hundreds of sunsets andinsect images also.If you look for them, there are a wide variety ofdragonflies that live in the park.

This review is similar to the one I left about Spencer Island. Last walk we did there was 6/9/19. The vegetation is growing on the waking path. There are benches for sitting but weeds are overtaking them also. When both Langus and Spencer are maintained they are a fantastic place to spend time but until it gets cleaned up there we won’t be back.

This is a great riverfront park with a boat launch. The park also contains the Everett Rowing Club which has a dock the right height for kayaks. The boat launch has a machine for paying the launch fee, which is either $5 or $10, I forget which. Also has nice bathrooms for changing into a wesuit.

I am handicapped and access to this area is a bit fickle. Parking is available off the gravel road before you reach the park. Taking kids to spend the day is problematic. Lugging gear to/from to the park makes for a walk. Bring a wagon/cart to make it easier on your back.

Probably one of the better parks in Everett even though its right next to the sewage treatment plant and thats mostly because its not infested with homeless and there are not used syringes everywhere. So as long as you are upwind of the plant its a pretty decent place to go for a run/bike/walk.

This park is big with some paved paths good for rollerblading. You can also access Ebey island and do a big loop walk it is not paved the whole way. There is a wildlife preserve on one side of Ebey where dogs are not allowed and on the other side dogs are allowed but hunting is allowed. There are more then a few shipwrecks in the waters here but only one is still visible.

The people are ok, but they play the old game of trying to sell you a car at MSRP. The advertised prices on their website are deceiving and apply under certain conditions only (like if you lease instead of buy). I wasted 2 hours of my time only to be handed a price quote that was based on sticker price. You can do better at other places.
