I really enjoy being a little bit of everywhere, enjoying everyone. Taboo on Saturday nights gives me an opportunity to connect with the African American and Latin community, and I love it. The promoter of Saturday nights at Taboo is one of the nicest guys I’ve met in Dallas and the Taboo staff are an amazing crew that keep the drinks, smiles and conversations flowing all night. The vibe here is AMAZING!!! They have great drinks, the music is soooo entertaining and the diversity is awesome! It is a smaller spot but the bartenders are so nice and helpful! This is the place to be on Sundays. Btw, it’s mainly Latin music!

This lounge was lit. They had a silent party and all the DJs were hitting. The drinks where slap and at a decent price. I love to hookah so this was right up alley. I had a great 1st experience.

Roberto the bar tender is great. Has a good chill vibe. Theyve got different theme nights but Fridays Afro-Carribean night is amazing

Just an alright little bar. I went there for a silent party which was nice and all. However when I went to order a simple Jim Beam and coke they didnt have that. The bar was not very selective at all..that made a difference fr.

Had a Blast at the Silent Party. Get there early for good parking, the drinks were kind of pricey but very good. The lounge was nice & clean ladies restroom. I really enjoyed myself!

We were visiting Dallas and found out about their 3$ drinks so we decided to check them out it was the best decision we made the hookah was great and the music was the best will be back here when Im back in Dallas lots of new experiences in that club great place to go to on a Wednesday

I came for the silent party on a Saturday and it was really fun. There was a good crowd with high energy, but it was never too difficult to move around, so kudos for good interior design. The bartenders were killing it! Especially the guy with the glasses who looked a little like Captain Jack Sparrow! They even held up the price of your drink with their fingers so you didnt have to take your headphones off. Parking here is very limited, so I suggest a ride share service or carpooling. I was able to get into the lot, but one of my friends was really nervous about where she had to park. The womens bathroom was clean and there was never a wait.

Good drinks, Hookahs, and Fred the Bartender make this a pretty cool place.The decor combines a discotheque interior with a wonderful section of outdoor seating. A great occasional diversion.

It was nice,clean ladies room,plenty of free parking. That being said I was there for Disco vs Retro event with guest DJ so Ive n0 idea what its like on a regular night. This is supposed to become a regular event on 3rd Saturday of the month. The only drawbacks were there needs to be more help behind the bar and the dance floor could use a coat of wax. If Disco vs Retro event moves there I will be going back regularly.

Drinks are pricey and weak. They add gratuity.. The music was good. Im still waiting on the manager to credit my account from two weeks ago

My only two complaints about this venue the parking was horrible and it was entirely too small for the event I attended. My friends and myself turned up on a Friday at a silent party held here. Tickets were dirty cheap $10 for single or two for $12(early bird special) The party started at 10p.m., we arrived at 11:30p.m. thinking parking wouldnt be that hard to find. Shiiiiid...we were WRONG!!! TWENTY MINUTES we spent driving around trying to acquire a parking spot. Once we found our parking spot, we checked in and began PARTYING!!! Standing inside wasnt possible without getting bumped into or knocked down... Lol NO LIE.... So, we hit the patio which wasnt crowded. The DJs were decent... Three channels of music to vibe too. Hip-Hop, Trap and R&B. Mann we had a blast once we began dancing. Id definitely attend another silent party just at a different venue.

This place is a hidden gem. I recently came by this place about a few days ago. Ive always passed by and wondered what type of lounge it was. I finally had the courage to try it out on a Wednesday night. I was amazed as soon as I entered. This place is very artsy and the ambience is amazing. I will definitely go back again and bringing lots of friends with me.

Karaoke Wednesday night: Love Double Dee karaoke. Shes the best in DFW. This bar has a great atmosphere and a clean, beautiful womens bathroom. Nice sitting areas. Very cool look and good drink prices. Ill be back often.

Smooth concrete floor for dancing to local house/techno DJs or enjoying up and coming bands. Friendly staff behind the bar slinging affordable, potent potions from a beautifully designed and laid out bar. Open smoking area overlooking industrial end of Dallas design district. Really looking forward to the future of this venue.

Hidden gem!! Taboo lounge is a beautiful bar / lounge hidden right outside of the design district in Dallas. Serves great cocktails and hosts a wide variety of musical acts and art shows. This place is definitely a must see if you come to dallas!

For the event i went to it was great!!

Everything is 8 dollars from the you call its to a simple mich ultra. Lot of young people, very little diversity, and crowded. Inside I was being bumped or brushed against every 12 seconds.

I was wowed by the renovation of this establishment. The character of the bar alone is reason enough to give it a try. The attention to detail and hands on approach guarantees a good experience for everyone.

Boring is an understatement. Came in tonight to see an old friend I heard was working there, not only was she not there but neither was a single other soul. I dont know how this place stays in business but the bartender who more than obviously loathes her job definitely isnt helping the empty atmosphere, I ordered a drink just to be polite when i didnt see my friend but the woman behind the bars snarky attitude and icy stares were enough to not even make me feel the slightest bit bad when I left my drink with two small sips taken out of it on the bar and signed my credit card receipt with a big fat zero for the tip. Never again Taboo Lounge, never again.

This place is poised for greatness and fame in the DFW area! Wide open spaces with local art and tastefully chosen bands are a big plus for this place not to mention the bar and bartenders that give an A1 performance. I know of more art shows, live music, Dallas famous DJs and other great events which have already been planned! I highly recommend supporting WED NIGHT KARAOKE! its my place to live good and enjoy smart hip people!

My fiancee and I had heard great things about this place but wanted to check it out for ourselves. We are getting married Oct. 14th and have family coming from out of state; we wanted to go somewhere that everyone could feel comfortable and nice. As soon as we walked in, my fiancee and I fell in love with the place. However, before we got our hopes up, we wanted to ask a few questions in reference to the place being LFBT friendly. When I tell you they were SO accommodating and friendly and polite and just completely nice! We met the GM and the Owner of the establishment and just LOVE them. They are so cool and laid back and just genuine. Needless to say, we are definitely having our After Party at The TABOO LOUNGE Dallas!!!
