This section if the KATY Trail from Rocheport to Providence Landing is spectacular! 8.8 mile MKT Trail takes you into Columbia.
I biked around 9 miles from Columbia, and it was a great place to stop and take a nice break in the shade before I went back! There is a nice pavillion/overhang that has benches and picnic tables under it. There are also some very helpful maps on the walls!
This a nice stop at the junction of the KATY Trail and the Columbia spur. It is near water at the next stop.
Nice little spot with helpful maps and interesting history. Good area to take a break along the trail and learn a little. Also great spot for some photography with the old trainbridge just down the way.
It is just a stop on MKT trail. You can start your journey on Katy Trail or go back to Columbia. Nice little stop.

Not really much to see here, but good informational signs. For restrooms, head East towards McBaine about half a mile.

Just a turn off from the KATY trail onto the MKT that takes you into downtown Columbia, MO. Benches to rest on and informational posters. Junction named after previous Mayor of Columbia that was an advocate for bicycling, parks, and being active. If you want restrooms go east from hear on KATY to McBaine. Restrooms and water are there.
Good place to take a break while biking the MKT or Katy Trail.

Theres not much here other than the actual junction were the spur from Columbia, Mo Jones the Katy Trail.
