Just another amazing trail columbia has to offer. Beautiful during every season and well cared for. The sanctuary houses a large number of bird species. Great for nature photography.

This is one of the most beautiful and inspiring Nature Sanctuaries in the US. Benches are located along the trail with inscriptions devoted to loved ones that are so descriptive they make one feel both grateful and compassion for the losses of beloved family members. The trail leads directly to Fairview Elementary School, and one makes friends with the moms and dads and grandparents strolling or walking the children to school. The path leads to several small playgrounds where children love to walk and play. Wildflowers, trees, butterflies small animals, birds are everywhere. It is a true sanctuary of peace, the beauty and awe of nature, and the generous hearts of all who walk its paths, young and old.

Very peaceful rugged and Serene. There were other nature lovers sparsely scattered around the park but hardly noticeable. Definitely returning for a longer exploration

Nice, quite walking trails. Lots of wildlife. Make sure to bring a camera and bug spray because the ticks can be thick.

Beautiful area, in a great neighborhood, perfect for bird enthusiasts, hikers, and casual walkers. Some if not mostly paved walkways, easy to take kids, push a stroller. Also a Share a Book Depository at entrance to pick up a good read or leave books for others. Well maintained and litter free, peaceful and a small nature oasis in the heart of an older established neighborhood.

Ive seen some owls and big woodpeckers in here and I am not actively looking for birds. I just like to walk in the woods. I imagine it is a great spot for people who actually care about birding. The hills and trails are a blast.

Great trails with some challenging slopes. Birder or not, this is a great spot for a stroll on a nice day. The map is well done - watch for ticks, though!
